Quote STAMFORD, Conn. – In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Randy Orton for 60 days effective today for his second violation of the company's policy.

...................And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why you never blaze up in a company that does random drug testings.

Holy Shit, I always figured wwe would use the fringe main eventers as proof the wellness policy is legit and that the wwe golden children (Cena and Orton) would never see a suspension. (Orton wasnt a golden child when he was suspended in 2006)

Props to wwe to actual suspend Orton even at a time when their talent pool is razor thin these days.

So much for Ziggler taking Jericho's place in the Orton fued.

Good on WWE for suspending a ME, shows they are actually taking a stand on it, not just for people who dont draw.

I am so tempted to throw out some LOL gifs.  Because I will admit that when I heard this I laughed.

Well, this is one for the old claim that WWE doesn't test their top guys.  Or maybe this means that Orton is no longer the #2 guy in the company.  Either way... I'm impressed that WWE took this stand on one of their upper tier guys.

I wonder what this means for SmackDown.  Orton was being billed as the "Franchise Player" of SmackDown.  It could be argued that he's really the #1 babyface on SD.  Add in Chris Jericho's suspension, SD just got really short-handed on big name talent.

I'm also disappointed that now we won't get Ziggler vs. Orton at No Way Out.

After a year without a title and carrying mid-carders like Henry, Christian, and Barrett into the ME (and making them look damn good), he probably felt like having a holiday with his family anyway. They can visit Canada and stay with the Jerichos lol.
It'd be interesting to now what he's been done for, as Randal doesn't come across as a typical 'roid' monster physically.
I'll miss the the bastard though, being one of the reasons I bother watching SD and RAW. I await WWE hiring yet another 'legend' to cover the lack of ME talent. It's funnily perverse to see both opponents in a PPV match blow out like this.

Poor Randall, just as he's getting on a roll and getting close to winning the World  Title, he goes and gets suspended for drug use, silly bloke. That screws up any title run for a while too. Cody/Christian will probably be hotshotted from midcarding to main eventing for the next two months.

i'm actually quite shocked at this ... i agree with Willy that i never expected orton or cena to get suspended because of this!!!

Hopefully they do something to take him out though instead of him just not appearing ... step in Mr ziggler who on raw claimed that he should get Ortons spot - no ebtter way to take his spot than to take him out for a bit

Quote   Super Luchas Magazine, a usually reputable magazine from Mexico, reports that Randy Orton violated the WWE Wellness Policy after testing positive for Dianabol and marijuana.

Marijuana isn't punishable by suspension in WWE, just a $2,500 fine. The report states that Orton tested positive for marijuana, was fined and then tested again for other substances where he tested positive for use of Dianabol. Dianabol (methandrostenolone) is an orally-effective anabolic steroid. Dianabol was commonly used by bodybuilders until Congress banned it under the Controlled Substances Act.

the Dianabol would certainly explain the more bulky look orton had as this is a super strong oral steroid - normally used to kick start a cycle as it is notorious for having an adverse effect on the liver as well as joints etc if taken alone

Fucking knew he was juicing when I saw his match on Smackdown a few weeks back, he looked a lot bigger like when he got busted pre-Benoit scandal.

Makes me wonder if someone higher up told him to beef up for some reason, because he's been lean and cut for a few years now, then starts on the gas just like that out the blue, it doesnt make sense.

Side note, hope he returns on Raw so one less reason to watch Smackdown.

I've known people who've used dianabol, apparently it's a milder steroid but still on the list of banned substances none the less.

Surprises me that Orton has got himself busted again, really thought he would know better at this stage of his career, does make you wonder if he was under pressure to pack on the pounds or if it was to assist with injury problems. One thing I have noticed is if you compare Randy now to how he looked back during his earlier days he's much leaner now, he was clearly juicing back then.

I wonder if Randy is frustrated with his current position on the card and with persistent injuries perhaps he's thinking about winding his career down. He's in his thirties now and has a young family at home, he's probably made enough cash to be more or less set for life, and even if not he could bag a lucrative TNA deal for only working a much lighter schedule. Think that scenario is unlikely though as he must have a fair bit of loyalty to WWE.

I also hope he heads to Raw when he returns, his switch to Smackdown has done nothing for his career, the blue brand is basically on a par with what WWECW was now and Randy Orton is way better than that.
