It was an awful way to start Raw and the live crowd that got there despite heavy snow deserved better.

Recap of previous week, slow walk to the ring, in ring segment that says nothing. It was all so pointless.

The start of a show is an important part to get the crowd pumped for the rest of the evening. Having a recap and few words said to kill fifteen minutes made it a damp squid.

I love how I explain how brilliant the segment was and how Orton controlled the crowd and then clueless Adders comes along and says the segment was "pointless." LOL Adders clearly doesn't understand important concepts like psychology and crowd manipulation.

The angle is hot and it did just what you claimed it did not.

Clueless Kon TV time is precious. With all the ad breaks and recaps, they shouldn't be wasting 10 minutes having Boreton slow walk to the ring, say nothing and fuck off. It was poor.

That was a good beating of Matt Hardy On Raw but we need Christian involved and it's strange he hasn't been yet after what happened to his so called best mate from his childhood.

I suspect at Elimination Chamber we will see Edge return to cost Randy the match as i'm sure he will be involved in the chamber.

It was not poor. The crowd anticipated on every word, and Orton baited them in and then left them wanting. Orton not giving an answer worked better than if he would have provided one in this circumstance. It further angered the crowd thus hyping up both the anger against Orton and the feud itself.

It was a great use of TV time and honestly Orton's best promo in decades.

Great angle, Orton expertly worked the crowd to perfection, it builds the anticipation and they need to go a slow burn route here as otherwise what do they do for the next 6 weeks until Wrestlemania? This was Randy's best work in years and he showed that when motivated he is one of the best that WWE have.

I hope they continue with this slow methodical build until a couple of weeks before Mania when Edge makes his big return.

Orton was fantastic again this week

He really is doing his best stuff - the fact he looks as though hes showing remorse and then goes psychotic makes it even better - the crowd reactions say it all.

Not only is he being booed but you can see from the fans faces that they are visibily upset by what hes doing

Fantastic

Orton is excellent, his character work is among the best I've seen, this story with Edge and Orton's work has got the crowd fully emotionally invested, this is a fantastic angle.

It's just a shame Randy needs a nudge to get him motivated to put in performances like this, its all too often that he appears to just be going through the motions. Moving forward I think he should be used in more of a attraction role rather than a full time talent.

I would love for Maria to come back here and give her take on this.

Randall Keith Orton continues to be the MVP of 2020 and should be topping best of lists in three months time.

He makes Drew look a strong champion putting him over but doesn't look weak from doing so.

This for me is the strongest year of his career for many many years.

I would say this is the best work we've ever seen from Randy Orton, it's definitely right up there with his heel work when he was the leader of Legacy and his later very dark babyface character which I was enjoying until WWE decided to water him down into a standard smiley babyface type a character Orton himself admits he hates playing.

He's put on some good matches with Drew and the feud looks set to continue, I thought it was a clever little twist having a disguised Orton use night vision goggles to take out all the legends with a chair in the darkness.

My guess is the Orton/Drew feud will conclude at Hell in a Cell where Randy surely must finally take the title from McIntyre. The hot rumour is that plans see Randy defending the title against Edge at the Royal Rumble or Wrestlemania next year.
