I never looked at the Hell in a cell as being Taker's specialty match, surely that was always meant to be the Casket/coffin match ?
But hes been part of so many new ideas we could associate them all with him, and this includes the Inferno & Buried alive matches as well.

You're right the coffin match and buried alive would be more associated with The Undertaker, for some reason it was Hell in a Cell that popped in to my head. The Cell match will live on though while casket and buried alive matches could well be retired with Taker. I think it's because the most famous HIAC matches usually featured The Undertaker.

He and Mankind raised the bar didnt they, which was already high after what he and Michaels had done originally inside the Cell. I think we as fans just expected way too much though when it came to him and Boss man, at Mania '99.

And it always annoys me to think Taker never won a buried alive match did he, or if he won one he still ended up getting buried. How does that work out!! Confused

How do they know the match will end up in the ring? If it's more than an assumption then the rules should have been explained such as saying that's the only place the match can be won.

Why hasn't anyone brought up it not being for the title like it should be? Making it a championship match would have gave it more of a big match feel.

Bray will probably win but fan attitude will be so what it wasn't for a title.

I enjoyed the House of Horrors match, it was unique and the setting was dark and creepy as you'd expect, it fitted Wyatt's character and moving forward I would be happy to see the gimmick match return sporadically for matches involving Bray. It cements a talents status as a top star when he has a gimmick match centred around him. I think as TNA proved with the Hardys in this modern era fans are more open to this kind of untraditional match that involves filming outside of the arena and pushes the boundaries of reality a bit more than usual.

The one change I would make is perhaps link up the house to the ring movements a bit better, we saw Wyatt climb in the car but Randy just appeared from nowhere unexplained after having a fridge land on him. Would have been better if the house had been close enough to the arena that they could have made it there unaided or something along those lines.

The match itself was ok. The pre-taped House stuff was a bit corny in places, but also a bit of a pleasant surprise in places. Logistically they need to film on location then have them show up to the arena. I'm actually surprised WWE haven't looked at getting Bray to use the boiler rooms a bit for attacks etc but can't win them all.

As a side note, i'm glad this feud is over now, it's been very poorly done. It's a good thing Bray picked up a win going forward, but bad news for us is we're probably in for another few months of Borton as Champion.
