Heel R-Truth was easily his best gimmick to date, He just worked as a crazy Heel, His Anti Merchandise and coming down to the ring with no Music was a brilliant gimmick. However if the WWE can suck the Money out of something they will suck it dry.
Y'know what?....It's really fucking hot here in Africa. Who knew?....Well me, I have been doing this for almost 5 years

Good to see him fit to compete after not being seen for months, as he's a good man to have around.

He's not going to get pushed but for backstage skits comedy relief or putting someone over in a short match, he's worth keeping around.

As daft as his skit was, it was pretty funny him not realising what show he was on.

Have no idea what that was all about with him and Tye. I mean, lets be honest, getting paired in a random Tag Team with anyone who isn't doing anything is a sign that, well, creative has nothing for you.

But getting paired with R-Truth usually means you'll be involved in weekly, mostly meaningless, backstage skits. So, Tye's future is in question from what I gathered from that encounter on SmackDown.

I seriously thought he was joining New Day up until that point Tye came in though LOL

Quote R-Truth vs. Shinsuke Nakamura: This one is a non-Title match. Nakamura starts off with a kick to the midsection and some right hands. Nakamura stomps on Truth in the corner, but Truth comes back with a roll-up attempt for a one count, then he mocks Nakamura. They run the ropes and Truth hits a Frankensteiner and then a spinning heel kick. Truth hits a hip toss and then wastes some time playing to the crowd. Truth misses a scissor kick and Nakamura answers with a kick of his own. Truth misses a shot and Nakamura goes for a triangle choke. Truth reaches the ropes to break the hold and the ref breaks it up. Nakamura follows up with kicks and knee drops on Truth while he's down. Nakamura hits a reverse suplex and then the Kinshasa for the three count. Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

It wasn't a total squash and he was allowed to show a little bit of offense.

The crowd was really behind him and was loud on the WHAT'S UP chants on his way to the ring.

Glad to see him getting a backstage segment too. He's a good man to have around the locker room for his experience.

I’ve missed Truth , he looked very good and yes he wasn’t a push over. I would love to see WWE give him a small push with a little comedy thrown in and see where it goes. The fans really were receptive and I admit I was even smiling , perish the thought, to see him. Gimme some more of the truth and in his own words ....... my bad.

I watched last week's episode of SmackDown after watching Raw today on Hulu. Truth really is one of the best characters in all of the wwe today. It's a shame he doesn't get a bigger spotlight. He would make a fantastic midcard champion. He is so damned funny yet still very good in the ring, especially for his age. Heel or face, he is just good fun. Hell, as I write fun, I'm reminded of the way he used to say funnnnn. "Hey kids don't you like to have funnnnn? I like having funnnnn! So let's all have some funnnnn and you can just wipe your nose, go stand in the corner and shut up!"

/Sigh I have missed R-Truth.

Heel R-Truth was one of the greatest character’s ever, rushing him back to babyface was one of the worst decisions they ever made.

I hope he gets to work heel again before he calls time on his in-ring days which can’t be too far away. His terrible rapping is far better utilised to insult the crowd rather than trying to get them to sing along too.

I used to hate his babyface persona, but I've actually warmed up to it a lot, even if he is just a jobber as a babyface. I think it'd be great to see him as a heel and a midcard champion one last time.
