Quote It appears that WWE NXT star https://www.ewrestlingnews.com/tag/lars-sullivan" rel="nofollow - Lars Sullivan is headed to the main roster. The WWE aired a “coming soon” vignette for him during Sunday’s (November 18, 2018) https://www.ewrestlingnews.com/tag/survivor-series" rel="nofollow - Survivor Series pay-per-view event in Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center on the WWE Network.

Lars worked a match at Saturday’s NXT TV tapings before Takeover against an enhancement talent. As of this writing, there’s no word yet on when Lars is headed to Raw or SmackDown.

I have seen bits of him and would expect him to go to Smackdown? Raw has a monster type with Strowman and building up Mcintyre as a dominant heel. Plus Smackdown could do with the help after their booking last night.

Who would you want to see him against? If he ends up on Smackdown the babyface line up is low on numbers. Rey is a PORG (person of restricted growth), Jeff the Jobber hasn't done anything for a while and Bryan is now heel so that's not happening. Styles will be fueding with Bryan still. It doesn't leave a obvious candidate to have him up against.

I like these random call ups instead of the obvious of calling them up straight after Wrestlemania.

I don't like seeing Lars going up so soon. I would rather see him work a few more months in NXT, but whatever. Not interested in seeing him on the main roster. He's not bad, he's actually pretty good, but I think they need to develop more of a personality with him TBH.

Hes not good enough for the main roster - too generic for me - don't really care who he faces because he's not that interesting

I'm guessing he's going to be the next Braun Strowman where they've seen enough of his in-ring work to know he'll be ok on the main roster (because the main roster isn't nearly so technically demanding as NXT) and Vince has some idea for a crazy gimmick for the guy, and that's all that really matters. :/

Lars might be another Elias in the making someone who struggled on NXT but would be just fine on the main roster.

He has no real charisma and he sounds really bad on the Mic.

Best he can hope for is a Lesnar style booking with limited Mic time and then people may get behind him

That's what people said about Elias Samson in NXT, too. I'm willing to give the guy a shot because the Takeover matches I've seen him in especially were way better than people want to give him credit for. He's not at all bad. Given the right variables, he might surprise everyone.

I would definitely say he is a better talent based off what we've seen so far versus where Braun Strowman was on day 1 on the main roster as the Black Sheep of the Wyatt family.

I think it’s a good call. Sullivan is better suited to the main roster than NXT, I would put him on Smackdown using the same monster heel gimmick he’s been using in NXT. He has a good power game and a unique look, he’s not the best promo so he may benefit from someone in his corner as a mouth-piece.

He’s not the first talent to have a character and ring style that doesn’t really fit NXT but should work pretty well on Raw and Smackdown, Elias, Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns are the first names that spring to mind that were very low key or unsuccessful in NXT but have found great success on the main roster. I like Lars Sullivan and I hope it works out the same way for him.

I wouldn't put him on Smackdown; they're already massively heel heavy and they've just transitioned two of their top babyfaces to the dark side. Who's left for him to feud with? You can't spend a whole year on Jeff Hardy.

He'll debut, go on a decent run, drop the "Sullivan" from his name, eventually lose to a top babyface and then fade to the midcard before being big showed.

Quote It was recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Lars Sullivan suffered some type of "anxiety attack", causing him to miss Raw and Smackdown events last week. According to a rajah.com source, this is indeed true as is the report that WWE made contact with him to help him through the issues. Sullivan though missed more events this weekend and has not been in any sort of contact with WWE since, as per our source.

The plan is for Lars to make his WWE main roster television debut next week at the 1/21 Raw in some sort of pre-taped, non-wrestling segment where the storyline with John Cena would begin. However, with his continued absence and lack of communication with WWE, that segment is now in serious jeopardy and the scheduled match with Cena at WrestleMania is also clearly up in the air. Vince McMahon - according to our source - is extremely unhappy at this turn of events and the heat is falling on Triple H, who reportedly pushed for Sullivan's promotion to the main roster and advocated for his impending mega push.

The mental health of Lars is more important than his debut on the main roster happening.

He should however have been in contact with the company about it instead of seemingly going AWOL.

I can see why going from the small pond of NXT to fueding with one of the best ever in your first main roster fueding, heading in to the biggest show of the year, might be stressful for someone to think about.

Let's just call him Ryback #2, fire him and move on, shall we?

Quote After coming under fire for not addressing Lars Sullivan's past racist/homophobic remarks (made during the 2008-2013 timeframe), WWE issued the following statement to Forbes, revealing that Sullivan has been fined:

WWE supports a culture of inclusion regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation, and we are committed to embracing all individuals as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.

Dylan Miley (aka Lars Sullivan) will be fined $100,000 and required to complete sensitivity training for offensive commentary uncovered from his past. WWE will also facilitate meetings for Dylan with community organizations to foster further discussion around the power of social media and the impact of your words.

For those that missd it, you can read the entire list of racist, sexist, homophobic and anti-religious remarks that Lars Sullivan made on the Bodybuilding.com message board from 2008-2013 by https://ewrestling.com/article/big-e-lars-sullivans-alleged-offensive-comments-many-wwe-are-aware" rel="nofollow -

He should have been fired. They got rid of a star like Hogan for racism, but are keeping Lars who's a history of being racist, sexist AND homophobic.

They should just get rid. He's not a star and I don't see him being a star, so it's not worth the bother to keep him around.

I don't think he should have been fined for comments made before he was even signed though.

Why should he have been fired for something he did long before he was employed? I don't buy that. I think it's ridiculous when people are punished for things they said over a decade ago. Time's change and people need to move on.

If he's a different person today, then judge him by who he is today. Since hiring him he's not been the kind of person they don't want employed by the company.

That'd be like firing Booker T and/or R-Truth because they've served jail time for violent crimes. I mean honestly, that far out-ranks some mean words someone said while trolling the forums. But we have no problem with giving these people jobs?

Booker T and R-Truth both became model citizens and great role models after putting their pasts behind them and gaining employment in the wrestling world, and I think Lars certainly deserves the same opportunities Booker T and R-Truth got.

Agreed. If he said it last week he would have to be fired, but a decade ago, everyone is entitled to a past and we've all said and done things we regret.

WWE fined him and are making him attend sensitivity training so they are seen to have taken some form of action, to me that's more than fair and this shouldn't effect Lars Sullivan's position on screen, I hope to see his push continue as planned, I just hope he doesn't get a vicious backlash from fans.

Why as he been brought back? Vince we haven't forgotten the type of guy he is.

Even recently he's been seen as creepy to a married personal trainer who has outed him, so he's not learned from his past.

He's a useless wrestler, can't talk and won't make the company money. Why hasn't he been released?

I think I must be the only fan this guy has.

I can understand the heat hes getting for the controversial comments hes made on social media as well as the other stuff that's come out about his past, but everybody has a past and accusations have been made against other talents who are still being featured prominently, Velveteen Dream being the most notable.

I like old school monster heel characters and I enjoy Lars Sullivan's power based style in the ring, I think these kinds of characters are effective and in the past have done good business when placed in a programme with a top babyface. I enjoyed Lars' match with Jeff Hardy on Smackdown this week, I always liked his matches in NXT too.

I do have my doubts about if Lars will succeed in WWE though, it just seems most fans are extremely negative towards him and WWE will only sustain a push of a talent for so long if the fan reaction is consistently poor.

Baron Corbin somehow won over fans, but Lars... Lars is very different.i think he will have a serviceable enough run as a heel, and nothing more.

I never really liked Lars when he was in NXT - he was impressive in some matches but overall and in general he was boring and didn't interest me at all.

I cant see him having a sustained run at the top - especially if his out the ring antics don't improve.

Don't see much of a future for him in wwe especially when fans are back - hell get convinced heat but on a much bigger level
