Quote San Jose's SAP Center, which is the venue for the upcoming WWE TLC PPV, is advertising a six-man tag team match as the main event with The Shield teaming up take on Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre. TLC airs live from the SAP Center on December 16.
So the main event of a PPV doesn't even have a title on the line? Surely the actual main event will be a Smackdown title match?
You could mix it up. For example if one of the three heels wins the contest by pinning Roman they are the new Universal champion. But if Seth/Dean pins one of Drew/Dolph they are the new tag team champions.
It would freshen up the concept, that would feel more like a main event contest, rather than being the same old six man matches we see all the time.

For all you know, Reigns could win at the supershow or even on Raw and then they could have this match with all of the title on the line.

Quote Previously, the SAP Center in San Jose, CA - the site for December's WWE TLC PPV, was advertising three matches at the event: Braun Strowman vs. Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Intercontinental Title and Ronda Rousey vs. Nia Jax for the WWE Raw Women's Title, as well as the finals of the Mixed Match Challenge.

-- In an update, the arena's site is now promoting that Braun Strowman will be going up against Baron Corbin instead. The other two matches are still advertised and based on current storylines, they appear to be almost a lock to take place. It's interesting that the finals of the Mixed Match Challenge is no longer listed, but WWE has not given any indication that the finals will take place somewhere else, so consider it to be happening as well.

Drew was pulling double duty to begin with? That's gotta be a piece of bad journalism where the article hasn't been proof read.
Strowman vs Borebin, Drew/Seth that's been done to death and a Rousey squash match.
The card based on those three contests look jorrible. What's interesting is all three are Raw matches. We aren't going back to exclusive events are we? Hope we are.

No posts in this thread for about 6 weeks and still nothing the day after the event says a lot about how much people were interested in this show.

Once again this event was too long, they could have left 2-3 matches off the card to trim it down, I felt exhausted by it by the time it got to Bryan vs AJ.

The Mixed Match final was a fun opener, Truth and Carmella are a surprisingly very entertaining double-act.

The tag title match was fast paced and action packed, bit of a clusterfuck but very entertaining.

Only half watched Nattie vs Ruby, the top ladies in WWE are delivering quality at the moment but the mid level ladies like these two I really have little interest in.

Corbin vs Strowman was obviously booked the way it was due to Strowman's injury, strange that no heels came out to help Baron. They could have just scrapped this and shortened the length of the show.

Randy vs Rey was a decent enough chairs match, Rey sledging a chair on to Orton on the outside and the finish were good spots.

Finn Balor vs Drew McIntyre was a gripping very physical match, loving McIntyre's work since he's been back, he's got star written all over him. Surprise decision to give Balor the win but I guess the interference protected Drew and he still looked strong.

Ronda vs Nia was another hard hitting physical match. Good chemistry between these two with Ronda's striking/submission and Nia's power game. Probably Jax's best match to date.

Bryan vs AJ was solid but not the classic that you'd expect. Starting to wonder if Styles has lost a step as he couldn't deliver with Nakamura and now his first PPV match with DB fell short of expectations.

Ambrose and Rollins was another solid but not amazing effort, some good storytelling here though and Dean as champ will be interesting, good to see a clean heel win too, don't see enough of those.

The TLC match was great with some brutal looking spots, Charlotte spearing Asuka through the barricade looked bad ass and it looked like Becky legit crushed Charlotte when she legdropped her on the table. Surprise win for Asuka but Rousey appearing is obviously setting plans in motion for Becky and Charlotte. Not sure if Ronda who was loudly booed turned heel.

Like fletch I had to agree there was too many matches on the show I honestly would've scrapped elias vs lashley for one.

The problem with styles vs Brian is we've seen the match before twice on smackdown and now we've seen a third match and its pretty much the same thing this is a match that should've been the ladder match.

The Same issue with Rollins vs Ambrose not to mention the positioning of the match I would've had this open the show and the mixed match challenge be the filler to let the crowd recover for the women's TLC match.

With the exception of the womens TLC match most of the matches on the show were ok at best.

The womens TLC match was absolutely amazing props to all 3 girls on giving us in my opinion one of the best TLC matches of all time, interference by Rousey didn't hurt the match either and now we know that either Charlotte or Becky is going to be the one to dethrone Ronda and I'm looking forward to that match.

Women's TLC was unreal
Rollins v Ambrose was absolute shite to the point I'm sure I heard boring chants from the crowd.

The rest was meh

I quite clearly heard *clap**clap**clapclapclap* "This is boring!"

Hard to believe Rollins & Ambrose gave such a poor match.

When the fans can chant this is boring for two of the biggest stars in the WWE today , someone better take notice that there is a big problem.

The whole show was terrible, with nothing memorable or worth watching a second time.

The women closed the show and didn't grab the moment. Lots of stick shots that we'd already seen on Smackdown and a screwy finish that's getting overlooked, that wouldn't have had it happened in a men's match.

Ambrose and Rollins need to be kept apart. Agreed with the boring chants. It's like they are such good mates from being around each other most of their E career, that they don't want to go too hard/stiff on each other.

Four hours for the main show made a average at best show drag. What happened to keeping them nearer three hours like they are suppose to?

The show is getting pretty favorable reviews, which seems strange to me. Nothing about it outside of the triple threat TLC match looked very good to me.

Rousey's involvement made perfect sense as it served to further the horsewomen vs horsewomen build. I expect to see Flair and Becky to put up a 2 on 1 attack on Rousey soon here, which results in the main roster debut of Shayna Baszler. I can't wait for that. I loved seeing Asuka take the champion as she's legit the best on the roster, and now I can see both Flair & Becky entering the Royal Rumble, likely Becky will win and call out Rousey. To me, this is very much something to look forward to, and I hope it all goes down without a hitch.

The rest of the show, just... bleh.
