Quote Baron Corbin was likely moved to Raw as the next step in making him the next "big guy" in WWE, reports Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer added that the expectation is that Corbin is once again in line for a significant push, even on a more stacked Raw roster.

He's basically an heel Roman but fans haven't rejected his many pushes because I suppose it's because it's not in the babyface role.

He's held a title, won a ATGMBR and been MITB. Despite all that he still wrestles in silence as he's just not popular.

He's going to be the Raw version of Big Cass, in that he will be as a big heel due to his size, but fans will stay indifferent to.

WWE seem quite high on Corbin so im expecting him to get a fresh push.

Not sure what direction they will take him though - maybe towards the IC title

It's also probably his last chance. They've given loads of opportunities to him already..however he has a clear path to be a dominant big guy heel here....let's see if he can finally nail it.

Has anyone ever kicked out of The End of Days?

Not that I know of. It will probably happen if he gets to PPV title match main event level.

Quote No Way Jose vs. Baron Corbin: Jose comes out with his conga line. The opening bell sounds, and Jose unloads on Corbin. Jose blocks a shot and takes Corbin out on the floor. Corbin comes back off the apron and drops Jose, then stomps on him. Corbin brings it back in the ring and beats on Jose in the corner. Joe comes back with a kick and then slams Corbin down for a two count. Jose waits for Corbin to get up as he looks for the knockout punch, but Corbin counters it. Corbin follows up with a Deep Six, and then the End of Days for the three count.

Winner: Baron Corbin

- Corbin stands tall over Jose after the match as his music plays.

As much as I don't like Corbin, he was facing someone I didn't mind him beating.

I have noticed he's recently had more tattoos added to his chest. Probably in time for that Ink magazine shoot he's just done with Graves and Riott.

This new role is kind of interesting and whilst i sort of thought that was the role Kevin Owens was kind of doing - it gives Corbin something to do i guess.

Meltzer has tweeted that he thinks this will tie in with Jason Jordans return and lead to a match between Corbin and Jordan.

Id quite like him to keep randomly attacking people and live up to that Lone Wolf thing a bit more

I don't mind him as a heel with no mates as that's quite refreshing. At the moment he's not a lone wolf with him sucking up to Stephanie.

Quote Baron Corbin confronts Kurt Angle and says he talked directly to Stephanie McMahon. Corbin says Stephanie had a message for Angle, saying Angle has made irresponsible decisions, and Stephanie now appoints Corbin as the new "constable" of RAW to assist Angle in his RAW duties.

I get why he's been put in this role as creative don't seem to know what to do with him.

Just a bit ridiculous when you compare his career to that of Kurt and how long that he's been around, that Corbin would be qualified to keep an eye on his general manager LOL

Yeah, because a nobody lackey should be someone even more high up the ladder than a hall of famer...

This period of the WWE season is always a bit try, and pushes are given to people that WWE have no plans to push for the rest of the year (see Breezango) so I think this is just a way to keep a little spotlight on Baron Corbin in a way that makes him the voice of the Authority and thus a constant heel.

I kind of suspect we're going to see Triple H vs Kevin Owens sooner rather than later, so somebody's got to be the new voice of the Authority. Might as well be Corbin.

I just happen to think someone on a more even level to Kurt career wise would be better as eyes and ears for Stephanie.

Quote RAW opens up with all of RAW's participants in the upcoming Money In The Bank ladder matches in the ring. They're all standing on ladders set up in the ring, and then RAW GM Kurt Angle comes out to give them a pep talk. Baron Corbin quickly comes out to interrupt, and Corbin is sporting a new shaved-head look. Corbin takes issue with Angle, and Alexa quickly interrupts and starts talking trash. This leads to all the wrestlers on the ladders in the ring bickering back and forth, until Strowman starts threatening Kevin Owens. Owens complains that he can't perform when Strowman is constantly threatening him, but Strowman doesn't care. Strowman says he plans to climb the ladder, grab the contract, and take the WWE Universal Title from Brock Lesnar. Everyone starts arguing until Alexa screams and they get quiet. Alexa says they need to stop acting like the Real Housewives of WWE. Alexa says she picks Strowman to win the men's match, and Banks picks her mixed-match challenge partner Finn Balor. They all start arguing again until Strowman screams "enough," and says this Sunday somebody is gonna get these hands. Strowman's music hits and everyone eyes each other down from their respective ladder set up in the ring.

More of the same old. The segment didn't need Corbin coming out and name dropping a Mcmahon.

My one positive for him is he looks much better hiding his receeded hairline by going for the skinhead look.

Yeah he suits the shaved head look, actually makes him look pretty bad ass. Much better than the horrible dated look of long hair with the big receding patch.

This is a good spot for Corbin, it’s a prominent position which will allow him to develop his promo skills further. It’s clear the McMahons are high on him and there doesn’t seem to be much for him to do feud-wise right now so it’s a good move. Might even lead to a match with Kurt Angle which would be a great rub for Corbin.

You're right, Corbin didn't need to be on TV. Thankfully he was and his appearance has been well received, as well as getting people talking on social media and encouraging further investment in both his overall character and current storyline.

Baron Corbin is on a different level with this current gimmick

He now can be overly confident - his promos seem alot better than they used to be

Still dont recall anyone kicking out of the end of days

I agree - when i was watching the match i was thinking about it again - its fresh to see especially in an era where finishers are hit multiple times quite often without a pinfall to follow

Hope he hits it on someone like Strowman to really sell how big a move it is
