Quote The early word is that TNA Impact drew a 1.5 rating for the full three-hour edition of Monday's show.

A very, very good rating for TNA seeing how they were going up against a very strong Raw, I think it may be the highest they've ever drawn if I'm not mistaken.

The thing for TNA now is to maintain it, Hogan's appeal drops like a stone the more he is used, look at his 2002 WWE run for proof of that.

So much for hogan claiming a 3.0 Rating though... and 1.5 is never ever enough to top raw..

they couldn't even draw a 2.0 with the almighty great Hulk Hogan at the helm.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha----I'd keep going but that's rather irritating to keep having to type.

Yeah, it's not what Hogan promised but this is a huge step forward for TNA ratingswise. ECW on Syfy doesn't even usually do 1.5 anymore so TNA management has to take this one very positively.

They also drew in about 300-400k extra viewers when the WWE was bringing back Bret Hart, who in all truth did probably trump TNA's possession of Hulk. That is still a remarkable achievement for a company only alive for seven years. Hopefully these ratings can continue w/ Hulk involved in TNA more frequently from now on.

Quote The quarter numbers of Monday's live iMPACT! are in. The highest quarter that scored almost a 1.9 rating featured the TNA debut of Hulk Hogan.

8:00: 1.58
8:15: 1.70
8:30: 1.78
8:45: 1.71
9:00: 1.88
9:15: 1.30
9:30: 1.42
9:45: 1.16
10:00: 1.17
10:15: 1.21
10:30: 1.19
10:45: 1.30

While the official rating isn't out yet, The Wrestling Observer is reporting that last night's 1/4 WWE Monday Night Raw averaged around 5.6 million viewers over the two hours. So the final rating is expected to see a sizeable increase from recent weeks.

* Hogan did well to get a 1.9 rating when he was up against Bret on the other channel.

* Management cannot be happy with how much the ratings dropped as the show progressed.

* It's the end of a show that's supposed to do well with ratings not the start. Just goes to show how many switched over to watch Raw when Hogan had finished.

The quarter hour numbers really tell an interesting tale.  A great first hour.  And a major fall-off by the third hour.  It will interesting to see if WWE Raw's ratings went up as they went on... perhaps picking up TNA's viewers.  That would tell TNA if their viewers were simply switching over to the competition or switching over to something unrelated.

Posted By: Pac-Man
Date Posted: 06/January/2010 at 20:50
Actually if you look at it closer, the major drop-off didn't just gradually happen over the third hour, it occurred immediately after the Hogan/nWo segment. That should be telling in and of itself.

The Fiesta Bowl on Monday night had a 8.2 share with 13.8 million viewers.  The local market share jumped to 22.8 in the Dallas market, near the TCU campus.  No number are currently available from the Boise market.  But that national number was down 35% from last year..... Tuesday night's Orange Bowl looks like it will have even lower ratings than the Fiesta Bowl.

This game (and several other bowl games this past week) have become a TV ratings wreck.  There's now too many bowl games and many of them have no history and mean nothing as far as prestige.

By contrast this past seasons Monday Night Football on ESPN set a new record when the Vikings-Packers game got a 15.3 and 21.8 million viewers.

College football simply doesn't draw the small crowds as the NFL.

yeah but even if viewership was down, those that were watching--were watching that and not either wrestling show so it took away from the wrestling ratings regardless.  There were also the main station programs, ABC, NBC and CBS, but most of those were replaying programs they've already shown.

Quote On his Facebook account, Eric Bischoff responded to a fan's post regarding Monday's iMPACT!. He wrote: "On the contrary, we are all convinced (as are most fans) that we proved definitively that we can produce a superior product. While it is going to take some time (and consistency) to gain the market share we hope to gain, we are thrilled with the product we presented, and are more than excited about the future."

Most fans are convinced? That's opinion not fact unless he's asked us all and I haven't realised.

How did monday night prove they can produce a superior product? That's wishful thinking.

I can't wait to see how he reacts next week to what will likely be an even worse rating.

If by superior product, Bischoff means disjointed, full of plot holes, and overall a big ass clusterfuck where most things make no sense, then he's right, if he thinks the word "superior" means worse, then again, yes he's right.

Nah, I think "superior" means more laced with the power of Hulkamania than anything on this planet. Which means he's relying on a depleted natural resource, thus contributing to global warming, which may or may not be a problem, but what's guaranteed is he's contributing to it. Nice work, Bischoff.

Quote Thursday night's encore presentation of TNA iMPACT! on Spike scored a 0.97 (1.0) cable rating, nearly matching the 0.98 figure the live broadcast did this past Monday night against WWE's Monday Night RAW. To draw another comparison, Monday's live show drew 1,361,000 viewers while the replay scored 1,303,000. Between both broadcasts, TNA scored a combined rating of 1.95 and 2,664,000 viewers. Thursday replay are not regularly scheduled going forward by Spike, although it is possible they can change their minds. Predator starring Jesse Ventura is set to air in TNA's former time slot next week. TNA and SpikeTV have to be very happy with the replay rating and the combined rating for the two airings of Impact being roughly a 2.0.

Have TNA fans forgot they can watch the show on monday nights now LOL

More likely is that many TNA "fans" would rather watch WWE if push came to shove.

A replay should never get anywhere near how many watched the first showing of something.

They should actually announce weekly cards at the end of the show so that the people who watch the replay would care to watch it live on mondays.

They should have done that for the upcoming week's main event.

So now we're reduced to added replay airing to make the numbers look better?  In that case, what was Raw's ratings when adding in Raw AM---which is just a highlight show.  It would be better to find out what percentage of Thursday's viewers were repeat viewers versus new viewers.  For a long time Spike TV used to replay Impact on Saturday nights and occasionally Friday late mornings.  Apparently they didn't know they were supposed to be adding the ratings together.  The fact that TNA got nearly the same number on Thursday as Monday really upends all that garbage Bischoff was claiming about "Monday nights are wrestling night."

I'm really surprised that Spike TV didn't try going to Tuesday nights and counter NXT.  I know that TNA wanted Mondays... but the final decisions was Spike TV's to make.  It will be interesting to see what Spike does if the ratings remain in the 1.0 range or... continue to slip.

Wait, promotion, this is something you expect TNA to do?

If TNA had any sense, they would have done the big brawl where Jeff Hardy comes out a little earlier, then announced Jeff vs. AJ for the next week right there and then.

This weeks are in:

Quote -- WWE RAW scored a 3.7 cable rating.

-- TNA iMPACT! scored a 0.8 cable rating.

Not entirely unexpected considering the caliber Raw was, but damn, the last two weeks have been a wake up call for TNA.

Revised numbers:

Raw scored 3.71
TNA scored .84

Again for TNA, the Beautiful People's spot was the highest rated.  And the "big" main event was the lowest.  There's no Impact replay this week so TNA can't try adding two showing together for a bigger number.

To be fair, AJ and Jeff were going up against Austin, Bret and Vince, it's not really any fault of their own they drew low.

It was a taped show against Steve Austin, this low rating is expected. Once Wrestlemania is over and dust has settled in wwe so to speak, It will be the real test for TNA.

It deserved a higher rating though, i really enjoyed TNA this week.

* Q2 – 0.98: AJ and Flair Interview/Kazarian, Daniels, Williams, Bischoff Promo
* Q3 – 1.0: Kazarian, Daniels, Williams X-Title Match/Shannon Moore Returns/Knockouts Tag Title Match
* Q4 – 1.07: D'Angelo Dinero Interview/Beautiful People Interview/Sting vs. RVD
* Q5 - 1.07: Sting Beats Down RVD, Hogan Appearance/Nash and Young Promo With The Band
* Q6 – 1.03: Nash and Young Promo With The Band Cont./Eric Young vs. Sean Waltman/Angle Interview With Soldiers, Anderson Beatdown

* Q8 – 0.76: Abyss and Hogan Promo/Hogan and Abyss vs. AJ and Flair
* Overrun was a 1.01: Hogan and Abyss vs. AJ and Flair/Jeff Hardy Returns

Beautiful People as per usual involved in the highest rated segment (even though it was joint with another).

I wonder if Hogan mentioned to his roster how he was involved in the worst rated segment...

nope, I dont think so that he is related to her.

I like his background, I mean he is wrestling since he was born. A martial arts background and is going to be a teen sensation. And some magazines say that he is the next big teen thing.

He could be the money ball player. If he gets success in his acting career then he could give TNA some major rating like 1.5-2 on monday nights.

What TNA are doing wrong is that they are not utilising Jeff Hardy and RVD to there full potential, instead of using Abyss, Pope and Hogan all the time, TNA should be using Jeff and RVD more in the main events.

Spike TV need to get of there ass and advertise the crap out of TNA for having huge names like Jeff Hardy, RVD, Kurt Angle and the like, instead of only advertising pieces here and there. Spike should just go absolute AWOL on advertising TNA.

ECW fans who see RVD, Raven, Dudley Boyz, Mick Foley in TNA will no doubt tune in, fans who see Jeff Hardy and are his fans will automatically jump on board, yet TNA and Spike just don't see this, instead they see pushing that big fat retarded bastard Abyss as the "next big thing", yet no one wants to see Abyss, no one. Nobody can take his character seriously.

Abyss is a let down, glad to see AJ Styles get better, but no one wants to see Abyss in the main events, it should be guys like Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, Mr. Anderson, Jeff Hardy and Rob Van fucking Dam not fucking "I'm a Kane rip-off, a Cactus Jack wanna-be, a Hulk Hogan kiss-ass" ABYSS!

Exactly. If TNA and Spike don't want to advertise the crap out of who they have in there possession, then really whats the point of the big names being there? TNA and Spike should go absolutely nuts with it and just advertise the crap out of the names they've got.

Jeff Hardy has a huge following, yet TNA seemingly dont know what to do with the guy, it would be better if TNA went the WWE route with Jeff and showcased him in the main event more often and not pair him up with his friend Shannon Moore (thats where Shane Helms can come into play when his 90 days is up).

RVD, last people saw him in WWE on a permanent basis was main eventing, again TNA should do the same with RVD. RVD also has a helluva lot of ECW fans who would love to see him in action and where else but TNA.

TNA and Spike need to get there asses into gear and actually advertise the living crap out of what they have, otherwise TNA Impact will keep getting buried and it would be a huge loss on Spike and TNA's ass.

You guys probably know a kid known as Justin Bieber. He got successful by using internet and talking with his fans on internet which is rare by celebrities.

So if TNA makes facebook fan pages giving a title TNAtion - (wrestler name) and make their wrestler blog and interact with the fans and make them their own youtube channels (where they make entertaining videos and vlogs) so that they can attract new watchers.

Internet is massive and they just have used probably 1% of it. And 10% of it is like probably 5 mill users.

*They use twitter which is great, but youtube could get them 2 mil more viewers as the most subscirbed guy there (Nigahiga) has 2 mill subs under his belt.

He would fit well into the WWE (Abyss), because the character he portrays has been a type of cartoon character for quite some time.

Quote Last night's edition of TNA iMPACT! scored a 0.86 (.9) cable rating, slightly up from last week's 0.84 rating. The show did 1.2 million viewers, an improvement over last week's 1.1 million viewers. The rating is up 2% from the previous week. The demos were all up as well: -- M18-49 did a 0.86, up +18% -- M18-34 did a 0.86, up +37% -- P18-49 did a 0.53, up +15%.

Terrible rating. They should have been at least 1.0 again with it being a live show.

Next week could be back to being a decrease with their recorded show being up against the Wrestlemania live aftermath.

It's still early days though so I don't expect Spike to be panicing just yet.

Spike TV opted not to replay Monday's Impact and went ahead and aired First Blood.  The Stallone pic from 1982 managed to score a .8 in the ratings.  Very similar to the Monday Impact rating.  Hmm, I wonder what Spike TV executives are thinking about this now.

Probably that they should have had a TNA Impact repeat on instead.

If they keep repeating it though what sort of a monday night war is that?

Quote Here's the quarter-hour breakdown for last night's Impact. The show's first hour did 0.83, rising to 0.87 for the second hour. The opening segment with Bischoff and Jarrett was the second-lowest quarter hour of the show at 0.79. This picked up to 0.93 for Q3 with the announcement of Team Hogan vs. Team Flair for Lockdown. There was a big drop to 0.76 for the Tomko-Rob Terry match, the lowest quarter of the night, but by Q6 had peaked at 0.97 with the end of the Jarrett-Foley match, RVD and Jeff Hardy's promo, and Hogan and Bischoff backstage. After that high, the show went downhill, with 0.85 in Q8 and a 0.81 rating for the overrun.

Bischoff doesn't equal ratings, he kills them. I won't bother telling him though because he likes banning people on his Facebook group who say things he doesn't like.

I dont have a problem with Hogan or/and Bischoff being a part of the TNA product but Bischoff in particular is sucking up way to much tv-time.

The booking was better this past week with RVD and Jeff Hardy both used well, fans were obviously interested in the Mick Foley/Jeff Jarrett match and building one of the key matches at Lockdown was also what TNA should be doing more of on Impact.

With Foley out of the way and Hogan saying he wants to be all business and wants the same from Bischoff I would hope that both Hulk and Eazy E step back in to their on-screen authoritarian roles more and leave the in-ring product to the active-wrestling talent, RVD and Jeff Hardy are super-over and should be pushed as the top faces in the company - hopefully they will be part of Team Hogan for Lockdown although I would have preferred RVD vs Sting one on one, hopefully that is still to come.

The fact that Rob Terry was a ratings killer tells you all you need to know about him, TNA seem to be trying to get him over as a Goldberg type character, but Terry dosnt have the talent to pull it off.

Does anyone have any idea how much money Spike is spending on TNA these days?  How much money they are paying for each show?  Because I have a feeling it's way more than the broadcast rights to a film that's 27 years old now.  That's what TNA needs to deal with and not worry about fighting the WWE.  TNA needs to secure their own spot on their home channel.

Impact is changing timeslots and moving up an hour.  TNA claims its a move to help against NCAA championship basketball.  But if that first hour ratings go better than I think the timeslot change might stick.  But they have to know there's no chance in hell of competing with Raw on a post-Mania show in ratings.

Ratings for this week are in:

Quote WWE Raw -- 3.7

TNA Impact -- 0.6

Yes it was the post-mania Raw, but it just seems to be getting worse and worse for TNA right now...

0.6 ratings is not good (surprising as TNA was a good show this week), but HBK's retirement night on RAW was sure to have made a big dent (as well as being post WM episode). I'm interested to see if it goes back to 'normal' next week.

Quote As noted earlier, TNA iMPACT! did a .56 rating on Monday (off hours of .53 and .60). The show's 18-34 viewers were down a stunning 53.5% from last week while total viewers were down 30%. Here are more quarter hour details:

* The show opened with a .50 quarter hour.

* The third quarter hour drew a show-low .43 for The Pope talking, Samoa Joe, and Orlando Jordan.

* The show's highest quarter hour was the sixth which drew a .64 for the end of AJ Styles vs. Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal vs. Beer Money.

* The seventh quarter hour did a .53 rating (featured a commercial, Hernandez update, and The Pope vs. Desmond Wolfe).

* The final quarter hour did a .58 (featured Kurt Angle/Mr. Anderson segments).

* The overrun did a .63. The overrun featured the end of the Jeff Hardy & RVD vs. Wolfpack Cage match.

At least the champion got the highest rated segment of the night.

They can't blame HBK for the low rating because when Shawn was doing his speech they nearly got their best rated segment of the night.

Funny how Pope got the worst ratings and he's the number one contender.

Its less of Pope that I take from that, but the "gay" gimmick and entrance of Jordan that turned off people I imagine. Seeing as this was big news and people turned it off when they knew it was to come.

when i first saw the article in this months FSM, i wasn't surprised Impact! had improved ratings, it's not been that long since they moved back to Bravo from BT Non-Vision, but i was surprised that the audience in the UK had effectively tripled.

the average weekly viewing figures for the UK were 56,000, but between January 16 and March 6, this rose to 120,000, with the figure being in the ranges of 150,000 after March 6.

i just don't get it; from what i heard, 56,000 viewers were all the show could pull in before the switch to BT Vision, so where have the extra 100,000 viewers come from? why are they watching now?

it terrifies me to think that, for the British public, Hogan and Bischoff are actually doing something right, but it is surely the only real answer for the continued growth in viewer numbers for that period.

Quote Here are some more quarter hour details for the final Monday edition of TNA iMPACT!. The overall rating for the show was a .78.

* The first hour did a .91 rating off consistent quarter-hour numbers between .87 and .93. The .93 the show's highest rated segment and was in quarter three which featured the Beautiful People backstage segment, Doug Williams, and Ink, Inc. vs. Williams & Brian Kendrick.

* Quarter hour four did a .87 rating for Mr. Anderson's promo.

* Quarter hour five did a .66 rating going against the opening of RAW. The segment featured the end of Mr. Anderson's segment, Jeff Hardy, and the Beautiful People.

* Quarter hour six fell to a show-low .56 rating for Tara's promo and the Beer Money vs. Team 3D vs. Motor city Machineguns match.

* Quarter hour seven did a .66 rating. The segment featured AJ Styles vs. Abyss, Orlando Jordan, and Rob Terry.

* The Hulk Hogan/Sting "Summit" in quarter eight did a .77 rating which was the highest rated segment of hour two. The segment also featured RVD vs. Desmond Wolfe.

LOL Tara leaves the company on the back of recently being involved in the lowest segment of the show.

What were they thinking putting her up against the start of Raw? Shock horror in Beautiful People not drawing well.

Some really poor ratings there which will improve now back on thursdays.

Thursday night's edition of TNA iMPACT! scored a 1.06 (1.1) cable rating off hours of 1.06 and 1.07. The show opened on a 0.97 quarter-hour for the AJ Styles-Rob Terry Global title match. Quarter 2 went up to a 1.03 with the Beautiful People segment. Quarters 3 through 5 all scored a 1.11 rating, with Angle vs Hernandez, the promo-off between Nash and Jarrett and Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Hardy. Q6 then dropped to a 1.04 for Morgan vs Anderson and the start of Beer Money vs. Motor City Machine Guns, before bumping back to 1.0 for the end of Beer Money vs Guns and a promo by RVD. The last quarter pulled a 1.09 with Dixie Carter talking and explaining why she invited ECW.

*I remember the time when TNA was making 1.3's every single week when Russo was the one who wrote everything (thats the time when Double J was told to leave by Dixie due to personal stuff)

*Well, Those extra viewers must have been stupid for enjoying that till the end as this was one of the bad impacts, and I am saying that as a real TNA fans as before Victory Road the last 2-3 Impacts were CRAZY HOT comparing to this crappy one.

*TBP lost this time as the KO's are the ones who always get to be no.1 ratings wise and they got the 2nd least number.

Quote Early indications are that last night's episode of TNA iMPACT! drew 1.65 million viewers on average over the two-hour show, which would be the highest viewership TNA has achieved since February 18 of this year. The rating and quarter-hour numbers are not yet available.

UPDATE: The actual rating for TNA iMPACT! was a 1.22 (1.2), the highest rating since the February 18 show. The main jump in the ratings was in the male 12-17 demographic, which jumped from a 0.97 to a 1.21. The rating among males 18-34, 18-49, and 12-34, as well as the overall adult 18-49 demographic, did not increase and in some cases even dropped.

Highest rating in half a year and still poor to say how much they are advertising ECW.

By Hardcore Justice they should be looking for a 1.5 to justify those guys being brought in.

It's not like they have WWE to worry about in trying to pull those kinda numbers.

So true BFP, I'm wondering what last week's cable ratings will look like... there was a new iCarly on and they been drawing in huge numbers with new episodes.  iCarly will probably score something crazy like the 8 million-plus they drew for the last new show.

But just look at USA Network.  For how long was Raw their top show?  Now they get beaten by Royal Pains, Burn Notice, Covert Affairs, Monk reruns, and White Collar.  WWE used to be a big deal for USA, but now they are sometimes the channel's 4th highest rated show.

Posted By: thundarr2000
Date Posted: 09/August/2010 at 06:33

Just wanted to point this out: The Cable Top 25 ending Aug 1 2010 [note this is US only ratings]

Number 1. iCarly with 4.2 and 7.7 million viewers.
Number 8. WWE Raw (2nd hour) with 3.0 and 5.3 million viewers.

iCarly is actually in the Top 25 five times (cue Booker T.)  The new episode was shown Friday night and then rerun Saturday and Sunday nights.  So 4 of the 5 times in the Top 25 were reruns

TNA didn't make the Top 25.  Number 25 was "The Next Food Network Star" with 3.9 million viewers.  TNA is getting whipped by wanna-be TV chefs.

Posted By: bigfloridapimp
Date Posted: 09/August/2010 at 16:04
OK. TNA is being whiped by wanna be chefs, but why is it no one ever calls attention to the fact that the 3.0 Raw got is a drop off from what they used to get. Why does no one say, LoL, Raw got beat by a tween show? Why does no one say, wow the mega power in wrestling. their ratings are dropping every week and they get beat by a tween show, wrestling must really be in the shitter? Because wrestling is in the shitter, MMA is kicking wrestlings ass.

MMA by it's nature is more popular than wrestling. Tween shows were beating reality TV, but nobody is going to say reality TV is fucked LOL There's a difference between Masterchef V6 and iCarly. Which show, on premise, sounds like it would be more popular? I'd rather be losing to iCarly.

Proofage of the facts courtesy of David Meltzer -

Quote One interesting thing to look at is that as much as people talk about the millions and millions of viewers who no longer watch wrestling, the reality is that the WWE audience, despite the ratings being in the low to mid-3s, isn't down significantly from the base audience during the boom period. The difference is that because more people have TVs and the audience for USA Network is so much bigger now than it was during the late ’90s/early ’00s, the ratings for the show would be down significantly even if all else remained equal. Ten years ago, on July 10, 2000, Raw did a 6.03 rating. You look at a 6.03 ten years ago and a 3.38 today and you think, wow, WWE is sinking fast. But in reality, that 6.03 is the percentage of people watching the show based on the number of homes that have the channel, the latter of which is much, much larger today. In terms of average number of actual viewers, the July 10, 2000 Raw did 5 million viewers and the July 19, 2010 Raw did 4.8 million viewers, statistically pretty much a dead heat. Now, granted, that's not to say there is as much interest in wrestling today as there was ten years ago because that's not the case at all. You had an extra three million viewers watching on Monday nights, they were just watching the other show (astounding when you consider the state of WCW in mid-2000, and really embarrassing for TNA today). Plus, a lot of those WCW viewers and viewers who didn't bother watching the shows normally were willing to switch to Raw during major segments in the 10:00 hour, often involving Rock and Austin, leading to some of them hitting eight and nine million viewers, numbers Raw today isn't approaching anytime soon. So yes, Raw was much, much hotter, but a boom period is about adding casual fans to whatever your base audience is, and at the end of the day, the base audience today is not significantly different for Raw than it was during the boom.

Quote The official rating is not out yet, but last night's episode of TNA iMPACT! was not in the top 50 cable shows last night. The lowest-rated show on that list scored a 0.98 rating. That means it's not good news.

The show scored a 0.71 rating in both the 18-34 male and 18-49 male demographics, which were the lowest for the show in the last 5 weeks. The rating for males 12-17 was down to 0.85, compared with a 1.19 last week. The show was up against another series-high rating for Jersey Shore.

This is actually disapointing because most of Impact these days is pretty good and deserves a decent rating.

The daft shit has been cut out compared to what it used to be like and most of the shows make sense nowadays.

With the amount of wrestling you see on a broadcast they should be around 1.2 and above.

Some are already suggesting that Eric Bischoff's recent comments might have pushed away fans from watching the show.  Others say it had to do with the usual internet spoilers giving away too much.  But not a lot of people want to acknowledge that Jersey Shore's ratings have to be eating up the "casual fans" that Bischoff seems to be catering to.

Quote The reunion of "The Beautiful People" on Thursday's iMPACT! scored the program's highest rated segment with a 1.15. The next highest quarter-hour was the main event featuring Kurt Angle, Mr. Anderson, D'Angelo Dinero and Jeff Hardy against members of Fortune. It drew a 1.11. Overall, the show earned a 1.07 rating, up from the previous week's 0.97.

It would have been cool to have been told which segment bombed the most in the ratings.

Hogan and Bischoff should see this as a sign that the Knockouts division needs to be used better.

So many big names in that monster main event and they still couldn't beat the Beautiful People LOL

I think Bitchoff will ignore the ratings breakdown as usual.  He would never want to admit that the BP drew higher ratings than his "established stars" theory.

But the numbers do seem to tell the same story in TNA that they have for a while now.  Knockouts rule!  People are tuning in to see something they don't see in the WWE... a serious take on women's wrestling.  The BP reunion has turned the unti back into a serious team and dropped the dead weight the stable was taking on.

You know, I hate women's wrestling. Cannot stand it. As soon as that bell rings I hit the fast forward on my Sky Plus. I mean, we have an amazing main event between Fourtune and Hogan's Dream Team and an even better match between MCMG and Gen Me, yet The Beautiful People get the highest ratings?? Makes no sense, to me. Makes me seriously question why some people tune into wrestling in the first place cos it obviously isn't for the same reasons I do.

Two past their best wrestlers rambling on shouldn't be the highest rated segment.

Shit like this is what will make management think it's best to stick with the legends in the upper card.

Those October ratings seem a long way away......

Quote Last Thursday's episode of TNA iMPACT scored a 1.15 cable rating, the program's highest rating since November 11 (which drew the same number).

In the Male 18-49 demo, iMPACT scored its highest rating since November 11 and second highest rating since October 14. The program drew 1,474,000 viewers over the course of two hours.

The big names continue to fail to bring in the viewers.

TNA could save money getting rid of Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Mr Anderson and Kurt Angle and would still get ratings of that.

Quote This past Thursday's episode of TNA iMPACT scored a 1.25 rating with 1,733,000 viewers. This is TNA's highest rating since the October 14th show after Bound For Glory. This week's number is up likely due to fallout from Genesis and the debut of Matt Hardy

Quote Last Thursday's episode of TNA iMPACT, scored a 1.25 cable rating, the program's highest mark since October 14, the show after Bound For Glory. The program garnered 1,733,000 viewers over the course of two hours.

Segment-by-segment numbers are as follows: Beer Money, Inc. vs. Motor City Machine Guns lost 138,000 viewers. "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero and Samoa Joe facing off lost 42,000 viewers. A backstage segment with AJ Styles lost 69,000 viewers. The segment involving Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett and Karen Jarrett, plus Angelina Love and Winter defending the Knockouts Tag Team Championship against Madison Rayne and Tara gained 83,000 viewers. A match pitting Abyss against Matt Morgan lost 55,000 viewers. The first portion of the Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson and Rob Van Dam match lost 249,000 viewers, lowering the rating to 1.07. The conclusion of the match and aftermath rebounded to 1.16, and thus the start-to-finish loss was 125,000 viewers overall.

Nice to see a womens segment that actually gains viewers. Im curious to see if Impact will gain in ratings when they start taking the show on the road and perform in front of new audiences and reaching new fans.

The first hour drew a 1.34 rating before dipping to a 1.23 in the second hour.

Really shouldnt lose viewers in the second hour that is not a good sign at all...the numbers arent bad honestly, but with the impending move to Monday again, I like to see TNA doing 1.5 or 2.0 on Thursdays before heading to Monday.
