^Not all gay people, but the vast majority of them have problems. You know more straight people with issues, because you probably know more straight people in general.

As for Adam and Eve...1-It was Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve 2-Unless everyone except two people on earth get wiped out, it doesn't really matter.

I believe a number of things in the Bible were spoken metaphorically, and not meant to be taken literally.

As an American, this is a heck of a tricky subject for me and no one seems to know what the hell to do. I think what the troops did was tremendous but in the end we have unearthed some big problems (the Shiti and the Sunni conflict) that we didn't plan on happening. I just don't get it when people say we should have never went to Iraq: Sadam was threatening the US with nuclear weapons and almost everyone said they had 'um, plus Saddam had an entire nation under his hand. So we went and freed Iraq but couldn't find any weapons. Than we had a new problem: The Iraqis had never had a democracy and a civil war is on the verg of breaking out. So here we are dealing with a new problem: how to get things under control and rebuild a stable Iraq and get the troops home? And I don't think that's a problem that's just gonna go away with a new US prez in '08.

What annoyes the hell out of me is the families of war victims that moan about Blair/Bush etc sending their sons into conflict. Excuse me but they joined the army not to have a teddy bears picnic. What sort of environment did they expect their family members to go into? The soldier have my full support and are doing a great job. Going to war on Iraq was the only option. The United Nations could not simply sit back and let evil get away with what they did. Also great to see journalist Alan Johnston freed today after four months held captive.

Saddam Hussein was still the lesser of two evils. Even if he started a war, he wouldv'e looked like the asshole insstead of Bush and Blair. And they still would've kicked his ass and semmed like the heroes. They went to war once with him, I still don't see why they needed to go again.

The middle east has been a fucked up part of the world for over 1,000 years. To think we're going to go in and fix all the problems in 5 years is crazy.

Taking out Saddam was a good thing. Any way you look at it, the world is better off without that man. Of course we captured him over two years ago. We should have confirmed it was him and then killed him and got the hell out of there. Instead we wasted a year and a half with a mock trial when the Iraqi political system clearly wasn't ready to handle it, and lost many lives as a result.

At the risk of sounding cold, we went in to take Saddam out. After that we should let the pieces fall where they may. If the Sunnis and Shi'tes in Iraq want to have a big civil war and take each other out, let them. Stopping them isn't worth the loss of a single American life to me. Even if it were, I our presence only prolongs the inebitable.

*As for families being pissed off, I don't blame them. I'm not against the war, but I'm against the massive way it was miss handled. Every man lost after Saddam was captured was unnecessary. Every man lost because Dick Cheney wanted to cut corners on needed equipment was unnecessary. Every man lost because Donald Rumsfeild was to egotistical to listen to Generals on the ground in Iraq (who actually have military experience) was unnecessary. If properly carried out, this could have ended three years ago and taken less then 200 American troops.

* Anyone voting in the European election a week on Thursday?

* A chance for us to have our voice heard and make a difference to how badly we are run.

* I don't see many people voting for Labour after the mess they have made running our country.

I was reading the shoutbox and seen this by admin:
admin ( Today at 22:55 ) : if someone wants to live here as a foreigner they should pull their weight. i like amir khan for being a great role model for british asians. its the fuckers who come over here chatting their hatred who need sending home

So, you folks get that crap too?  It's not a nice thing but now you know how we Americans feel when we have to put up with foreigners BS.  They run over here and want us to change our ways to suit them.  Fuck that.  Adapt to us and we'll learn to adapt to you.

I have no problem with people wanting to live in this country but don't bring your hateful views over here towards my country and expect me to like them.  If you don't like it, you can always go back to where you came from.  It's not like we asked you to move over here anyway.

* Adil Rashid plays cricket for my county Yorkshire and he's quality to the point where i'd love a Yorkshire shirt with his name and number on the back.

* I hate there's parts of some cities like London and Birmingham where whites are outnumbered in our own country.

* I also hate how some places are no go areas for whites or they would get attacked.

we ALL need to do our little bit tho, rather than not voting (which in my opinion is wasting your voice) vote for "none of the above" they have to legally count that vote & if enough of us do it then maybe - just maybe - someone will realise the people of this country will have no faith in the politics and something will be done.

we're a great nation of people who like to talk about what we'd do but when it comes to it, we say nothing. this is now your turn to do something even tho its small, every little bit counts, Vote on june 4th & vote for "None Of The Above"

Lucky you--we don't have a "None of the above" option on our ballots--some states may have this but mone doesn't--but yes, you are right, if people go out and vote, then they can at least say they had a part to do with what happens over there.  Same thing as for over here--if you don't vote then what's the point in saying anything about what comes as a result.
