France has passed a law that from 2020 plastic cutlery, cups and plates will be banned and must be made instead of compostable materials. Would you support or oppose introducing a similar law in Britain?

I'm all for it. It's disgusting how much plastic gets chucked in our oceans, at the risk of harming our sea creatures.

I'm surprised even at 5 pence per plastic carrier bag, supermarkets still sell them. If it was the shop that had to pay the 5 pence for every plastic carrier bag they gave us, they would soon be giving you a paper alternative.

You need bags for your wheelie bins to stop them smelling, keep them clean and to have more chance of keeping the rats away. But plastic needs an alternative.
