Quote If and when Lesnar leaves WWE, Paul Heyman is expected to be gone as well according to the same article. Apart from being the advocate for Brock Lesnar, WWE reportedly has no further plans for Heyman creatively and with Brock gone, Heyman would effectively become a free agent as well at the end of August.

Makes sense because for what he brings to the company he's probably paid way too much money.

He comes out, tells people his name and that he's an advocate for Zzzzzzz Sleepy

I can't think of anyone that would be elevated by being associated with him, who needs his help. Punk and Lesnar were already main event stars before he associated with them. He failed to elevate Curtis Axel. Ronda Rousey doesn't need him because whilst she's shit at talking she's already a star also.

Hes great at what he does.

By that i mean he allows Lesnar to just do what he does without needing to speak (and thats good because hes awful on the mic)

He also does a great job of building up Lesnars opponents as legit threats even if Brock has destroyed them repeatedly before.

I dont think Lesnar would be as badass a champ if he was alone as opposed to with Heyman.

I would however appreciate the idea of Reigns beating Lesnar due to help from Heyman, thus turning Reigns heel and Brock face in the process.

Heyman has been fantastic the past couple weeks. He has definitely carried the Reigns Lesnar feud on his back as far as I'm concerned. The last two week story arch was actually entertaining, and it's all due to Heyman. It's a shame we are likely not going to be seeing much of him on TV after Lesnar leaves.

Quote Roman Reigns comes out to the ring and gets on the mic. He talks about wanting to leave WWE better than he found it, and he is sick of talking about and hearing about Brock Lesnar. Reigns says he's going to beat Lesnar so bad back to the UFC, that his head will be stuck up Dana White's ass. Paul Heyman then comes out to interrupt. Heyman says it's a new day, and then he mentions The Usos saying they are the future of the tag division, and then he kisses up to Reigns too. Paul steps in the ring an says this is Reigns' week, but why wait until Sunday to make history, when he can start making history tonight. Heyman says if he was in Reigns' corner, he could tell him all of Lesnar's secrets and weaknesses, and it would guarantee his victory at SummerSlam. Reigns says he already knows Lesnar's weaknesses, and he doesn't need Heyman. Heyman continues to try to sell Reigns on the idea and extends his hand. Reigns says his offer isn't good enough, and he was groomed from a young age to succeed n this business. Reigns says he sees Paul is in trouble and he isn't worth helping, and he wishes Paul good luck on his future endeavors. Paul talks about being young in the business and riding in cars with Afa and Sika, and he talks about Reigns' dad teaching him something, then he says something in Samoan. Heyman says he wrote up a brief contract and hands it to Reigns. He tells Reigns not to answer him tonight, answer him on Sunday at SummerSlam. Reigns is looking down at the contract, and then Paul Heyman pulls out a can of what appears to be pepper spray, and he blasts Reigns in the face with it. Reigns is selling that he's blinded as Paul continues spraying him. Paul steps out of the ring and stands on the ramp as a camera man helps wipe off Reigns' face. Brock Lesnar's music hits and the Universal Champion comes down the ramp. Brock hands his Title belt to Paul and then he hits the ring. Brock charges Reigns in the corner and attacks him with knees to the body, then he slams him down. Brock grabs Reigns again and puts him in a guillotine choke. Reigns goes limp and Brock lets go. Brock stares at the crowd and then leaves the ring to grab his Universal Title from Paul on the ramp. Lesnar and Heyman head to the back as Reigns sells the beating in the ring. Brock turns around and heads back down the ramp and hits the ring. Lesnar hits the F-5 on Reigns, then leaves again.

The last three weeks Heyman has been more interesting than he's been in the past couple of years.

Instead of the same old repetitive shit he's freshened things up by showing emotion and talking so personally to Reigns.

He's the wildcard in the title match because it's highly likely he's going to get involved in the title finish somehow.

Loads of dirt sheet reports saying plans are being discussed for new ‘clients’ for Paul Heyman or even a new stable.

Rumoured names so far have been Ronda Rousey and Kevin Owens. Personally I don’t think either of them need him but it would be good for Owens to revamp his character a little going back to his darker prize fighter gimmick, Rousey if turned heel could benefit from Heyman too as she’s not the strongest promo ever and I’m not a massive fan of her smiley babyface character would prefer her to get more serious.

Paul needs someone that’s not strong on the mic. I’d like to see them pair him with Bobby then in about 10 years when everyone has forgotten about Brock ,he returns to feud with Bobby with Paul stuck in the middle or even refereeing the match

Lashley badly needs a personality, and WWE could really use a manager for the guy... hence Lio Rush.

Last I heard Heyman was going to be doing some sort of creative with WWE behind the scenes following Lesnar's departure, but I don't know if that was just rumor or if that has actually panned out, or still has yet to come to pass.
