Maybe they'll do something crazy like save her retirement announcement to coincide with an announcement of her being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year? 25 years old and getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame WOULD be crazy, and yet not so much so that I'd completely dismiss the possibility.

I'm confident she'll roll up somewhere else once her contract expires; we're not likely to see her in the Hall of Fame for a long time to come.

She needs to be at ringside for name value and to lend credibility to Rose and Deville. Neither of them are picking up wins at the moment and really she's all they've got.

Do you think this a case similar to Bryan, whereby she could actually compete relatively risk free and WWE are scared to clear her for legal and brand protection reasons?

The women's division right now are seeing what a double edged sword their success is. Women like Mandy Rose, Sonja Deville, Sarah Logan, & Liv Morgan are all jobbing out despite being the latest women called up to the main roster.

The old system saw the new women being champion, then slowly sliding into obscurity before leaving the company. Now the new women are seeing very little success aside from Asuka who is being treated like the star she is. The more women that enter the division the more competition there is going to be even compared to the strange variation of very pronounced competition that used to exist.

Shayna Baszler will be the next one to get a big push coming up from NXT - she is the ultimate #Heel.

I think WWE rate Ember Moon highly too and again HHH will be playing . a major part in the exposure ex-NXT stars are getting on the main roster

Not sure where you're getting that from; I think it's a massive risk for Bryan to wrestle again and it's the same with Paige. I just think they're going to ignore the risks.

Based on the numerous medical people that have cleared Bryan for competing

Ah, right, I thought you were basing it on my opinion. My mistake, sorry.

In that case then yes I think it's exactly that.

Quote It’s been well documented former WWE Divas Champion Paige’s career is over as in-ring performer under the WWE banner. The news was reported a while ago but WWE had yet to confirm the news. She will not be cleared to return to the ring after her most recent in-ring injury.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Smoothie King Center on the USA Network, that all changed as Paige cut a promo in the ring confirming that she is no longer able to wrestle.

It has been noted that it’s a situation described as similar to Edge’s medical disqualification from competing in the ring.

It all started in late December at a live event in Long Island. For those who may not remember, she was in a six-woman tag match that needed to be called off.

Paige took a hard kick to the back from Sasha Banks that she wasn’t ready for and it stunned her. The early belief was it was just a mild stinger, leading to her losing feeling in her extremities. WWE pulled her from the ring and set up further testing that led to this decision.

Don't get why the let the announcement drag on for four months. Sad news but glad speculation can now stop.

It was only the night before on commentary for the female Uterus Cup she said sheepishly "maybe next year" about competing.

Not sure what this means for the  Paige & Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose On Raw group.

I think this probably a Paige call to be able to do one last round of Mania stuff and to retire, like she said, the place she won her first main roster championship, would be significant to her.

Wish her well.
