When Neville decided that he did not want to be in WWE anymore as he did not agree with creative decisions, most of us on here probably thought that was the end of him working in a big promotion.

Now he has signed with AEW and is using his persona of "The Bastard" which i believe he has been using in Japan as of late.

As a fellow Geordie, im super excited that PAC is the other half of the first ever AEW Championship match.

It will certainly be interesting to see how he is booked given the success he has had in the indies.

He has the look, he can talk well and he seems to have the fan base to be quite a success in AEW.

So PAC has seemingly quit, if not at least pulled out of DoN due to creative differences.

That says to me Hangman Page was going over and PAC went WWE Neville and took a huff and left.

What is it with this guy?

I hope he's not done with the company, PAC was one of the talents I was most excited about seeing in AEW.

Is it me or is this guy sounding more and more like a modern day version of The Ultimate Warrior or Bret Hart? In other words a guy who seems to take his on-screen character and booking far too seriously and/or is very difficult at the negotiating table? Anybody who takes their ball and goes home walking out on the biggest wrestling company in the world breaching their contract and most likely burning their bridges with said company instantly sounds like a pain in the ass to work with.

That seems to be the rumor I am hearing. Dealing with WWE can be a real bitch, but when you're doing that with even more people than that it starts making you look pretty bad.

He's a idiot. In E he was in the spot monkey division, didn't have a marketable look and got too big for his boots before burning his bridges.

Now he's gone and seemingly burned his bridges in the next biggest wrestling company, silly lad.

AEW management haven't come out of it looking good either, as creative side should have been locked in before the match was announced.

Alot of reports online and alot of people claiming this is a work ...

Not sure I agree but its instant major heat for PAC if true

Edit: turns out PAC and Dragon Gate didn't want any losses while he was still champion so that's why the match with Hangman has been canned. Hopefully someone else interesting will fill the void because I was really looking forward to that match

They ended up having a match this weekend instead and I believe it had a DQ finish

I had seen reports saying that PAC is happy working the Indy circuit and that's his priority, his contract with AEW is part-time and works around his Indy dates.

He does seem to have a attitude, I personally think WWE treated him ok, he may have been saddled with the 205 Live division a brand few people care about but he was booked as a star and it was clear they were trying to use his star power to get the brand over. I liked how his heel character was portrayed to. When he was asked to drop the belt to Enzo it looked like they were set to move him back to a main roster spot so again what's the problem?

Maybe it is a case of he's not about the money and he's more comfortable working for smaller companies at smaller venues where he's got more control over his character and ring style. Reminds me a little of Rob Van Dam who admits he had far more fun working in ECW than WWE as it was far less corporate and he had way more freedom with his character and matches and there wasn't the backstage politics. But Rob was a smart enough businessman to recognise the money, security and mainstream stardom he could get in WWE.

I'd liken him more to CM Punk or Steven Austin myself. I'm better than this, fuck you guys I'm going home.

Heheh, so I see my above post and that makes this second post a bit ironic.

According to Cody, PAC only pulled out of the Double or Nothing event because of the fact that he had the Dragon Gate title.

The important thing is that he IS still a part of AEW, he's just negotiating how he's to be used while he has the other promotion's title. That makes him sound a fair bit better than I had assumed before this information came out.

I would assume now that by the time Tuesday Night Dynamite or whatever it will end up being called debuts he will have things worked out so he can be a regular part of their television show.
