From Jim Ross Website..........

Quote Hello J.R. It's an honor to be able to ask you a question as you are my favorite broadcaster of all time, along with Bobby Heenan of course. I would like to know when we will see Owen Hart inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame? Owen is extremely deserving of this honor and I really hope to see him inducted very soon. I believe Owen's family, friends, and fans have waited far too long. I still remember the episode of RAW the night after his death. All the wonderful stories the other Superstars were telling about him. And of course Bret's stories of Owen at his own HOF induction. Here's hoping we see Owen take his place in the HOF where he belongs very soon. Thanks for reading J.R.!I've addressed this one before and the answer is the same. I think that it will happen someday and that Bret will likely handle the acceptance speech but it would be great for more time to pass and Owen's son accept in his Dad's honor.

* It's a nice thought about Owen's son, but i'd rather his brother Bret be the one to do the honours.

* Bret probably knew Owen better than anyone else and is the best person possible to do the induction.

* I don't see the Blue Blazer gimmick being mentioned in his video trailer though.

I often think while watching wrestling of what would of happened if Owen was spared from that trajedy. Its a shame that the good die young

* 10 years ago today Owen "The King Of Harts" Hart sadly passed away through a stunt went wrong a few weeks after his 34th birthday.

* I lost my favourite ever wrestler through an accident that shouldn't have happened.

* Today I will be thinking of Martha, her children, Bret and the rest of the loved ones on this horrible day.

* God rest you Owen.

This is one thing i can nevr forgive WWE and more accurately Vince Mcmanhon for, and not to soil this day as it should be about Owen, but i don't know how many of you know the story about how Owen was placed back in the Blue Blazer gimmick because of his refusel to be part of a storyline in which he would have an affair, because he didn't not want to have to explain that to his young son.

But anyway god bless Owen's momery he was one of the finest heels of his day and suberb wrestler who could carry just about any feud, and from what i hear a true gentleman and totally harious.  To OWEN A TRUE GREAT !Clap

Not to sound callous, but it was Owen's fault. He never refused, but was uncomfortable enough to shake the device to the point it broke. Still, that doesn't take away from what a horrible tragedy this was.

Oh yeah, absolutely. Don't let the fact he was a great wrestler cloud your judgement. He got fucked over by his devotion to the company, but that's his fault. The device was safe, IF you didn't get nervous and move around. What'd Owen do? He got nervous and moved round.

Yeah i knew that, it was because Owen wanted to distance himself from the angles in WWE that he considered in poor taste, you have to remember this was the attitude era and WWE was filled with smut, Owen like his brother Bret preferred to be more of a role model for kids and was uncomfortable doing racier storylines, so he took on the Blazer gimmick as a way of keeping away from all that.

I still think WWE was to blame because no wrestler should be put in a situation that is dangerous like that.
Owen was one of my favorite wrestlers and its so tragic his life was cut so short, i often wonder how his career would have worked out had it never happened, would he have followed brother Bret and close friend Jeff Jarrett to WCW and later TNA or would he have cracked the main event in WWE, sadly we will never know.

My heart goes out to his family on this day.

I remember watching the PPV and at first the audience thought it was part of the show, then when he didn't move, the whole arena just fell silent and it was just an eerie silence. I will never forget watching Raw the next night with all the wrestlers telling stories and giving their condolences to the Hart family. I also remember there was supposed to be a match between Road Dogg and the Godfather and the Road Dogg broke character and said something like "we should go roll a fatty and tell stories about Owen." That was probably one of the most emotional things I had ever watched, because you got to see all these wrestlers not as their characters but as themselves.
Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

Actually, ten years after the incident, it does not matter to me who´s fault it was that it happened. a whole decade afterwards I just still would like to send out my h(e)art to the Family he left behind. One of the all time greats in the making, cut before his time to truly shine had come. RIP forever Owen.
