Surprised we didn't even have a thread on this, anyway.....

The 8 person tag was a fast paced opener, good to see Kasius Ohno, I wondered where he would fit in to the card, Sanity impressive again, the goal here seemed to be to put Killian Dane over strong, I wonder if he's main roster bound as he's in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal.

Impressed with Alistair Black, good combination of aerial ability, power and unique style, good match with Andrade Cien.

The tag match was excellent, annoyed me a bit how the crowd crapped all over the Authors of Pain as they more than held up their end in the match and are developing quite nicely in the ring. They were dominant here again against two of the top teams in NXT.

Enjoyed Asuka vs Ember Moon, seemed Asuka was the heel in this match using a ref bump to get the win, Ember Moon looked strong though.

Roode vs Nakamura was another first class match, great storytelling and action. Roode went over like a beast here. Would seem Nakamura is headed to Raw or Smackdown.

The crowd's interest seemed to peak mid-way through the tag title match, then dropped when AOP won, only to go up slightly when Nakamura lost just so they could say good-bye to Nakamura on NXT.

I don't know who this Ruby Riot chick is, but she looked lost more than once during the tag match, like she literally didn't know what she was supposed to do next after she took her bumps and got her shit in and other people were doing their thing while she was still in the ring. Overall that was a good opening match though. Glad Sanity won as they're the established faction. Nine times out of ten, the ragtag group of people, no matter who they are shouldn't beat an established team.

Alistair Black reminds me of Gangrel meets CM Punk. I guess that's not a bad thing, he definitely knew how to wrestle, I'm not big on the gimmick though, seems doomed to failure, or at least heavy evolution.

I loved this tag match, but the crowd crapping on AoP was stupid. AoP did great. Glad they retained.

Love seeing Asuka in heel mode, I hope she continues to turn it up even more throughout the rest of her run. Being a heel is the only good reason for her to still be in NXT at this point. Hopefully at the Summerslam Takeover event, Ember Moon gets the win over a fully entrenched heel Asuka. Otherwise Ember Moon has shown she's good enough to have pulled off the upset this weekend and sent Asuka to the main roster.

I guess Nakamura is going to the main roster? Either tonight, or tomorrow night I expect he'll make his debut. It should be interesting to see how he can handle himself there. It's a different beast, and his promo skills (in English) are still lacking. It's going to be an uphill battle for him. I hope he makes it.

She was formerly known as Heidi Lovelace on the indies. She just made her TV debut a couple weeks ago.

Completely agree that an established faction should beat a thrown together group. I really want Sanity working towards the tag titles and then invoke the Freebird Rule.

Aleister Black (or however they are spelling it) looked good in the UK tourney. He was billed as Tommy End and had a match with Neville. I think that they have big plans for Black. But I don't know what's going on with Cien Almas.

The triple threat tag match was great. But something about the pacing at the end didn't set right with me. Both DIY & the Revival carried the work for the match. But with both those teams constantly rumored to be getting called up, it was no surprise that AOP kept the titles. I was just hoping to see something new from AOP.

Asuka vs Ember Moon was okay. A couple of other times Asuka seemed to be leaning towards a heel turn, but this more than just a hint. I think that if Asuka can pull off a solid heel run, that will be the deciding factor in getting her call up to the main roster.

Roode vs Nakamura showed that even though the outcome was "predictable" that didn't mean they couldn't have a high quality match. The one thing that stood out to me was how much Nakamura has improved his selling. In his first couple of NXT matches, he would stop selling after a couple of minutes. But in this match, he remembered to sell his knee throughout the match. It's a small difference, but it made the match much more enjoyable.

Great to see Sanity get the rub. Expect that most of the match losers will be called up shortly to the main roster.

Black and Almas put on a run of the mill card filler. Nothing more to say.

Authors Of Pain were shit on by the loud crowd, not because they beat a crowd favourite but because they are just a generic big man team, but with a bald ageing manager.

Asuka won....Again....Predictable and a missed opportunity to let us see if she can get over on the main roster.

Very good main event and given plenty of time. Would have prefered a title change so Roode could go on Smackdown.
