Shayna Baszler should win the women's title. She's booked as so dominant and I don't want her to lose another title match.

Almas vs Black would be a great match and a worthy Mania weekend main event for the developmental show.

Could be the last chance for a few to compete in NXT before getting called up days later.

I think this will be where Alistair Black wins the title allowing Almas to move to the main roster.
I also think it may be the last time we see Sanity and the Authors of Pain in NXT before they move up. Black vs Almas could easily be match of the year.

I would like to see Shayna Baszler win the title too as she will make a decent dominant champion, Ember Moon is ok but Baszler will be a better champion. Hopefully they can match the quality of their last match at Takeover which was one of the best Women's matches I've seen.

Hopefully 205 Live! actually does continue to improve and become a good, watchable show, because Almas is not gonna do shit on the main roster otherwise. As good as he is, both in the ring and as a character I just don't see WWE doing more with him than they did with Neville.

I wouldn't be against Almas losing so he can be called up, even though it would mean he won't have had a successful Takeover title defence.

Baszler has to win the title to keep her looking badass and I would be shocked if it doesn't happen.

Bobby Fish got injured at the weekend. Hopefully they don't have to give up the tag titles and if the worse happens just have the final of the tag team tournament be for the title.

TBH I kind of expect to see Bazler lose and then go up to Raw to join with Rousey in their next storyline.

I don't know, though, really. I'm just no where near so confident as you guys that Bazler will win the women's title. They could drag it out I suppose.

I haven't seen Eric Young on NXT in a while now. I would really like to see him re-establish himself as the real star of the group and not Damo, who will be a breakout star, just not yet. I'd rather see him used as the enforcer, or muscle of Sanity for a while longer while Young is the mouthpiece and brains of the operation.

Also, looking forward to seeing Nikki Cross join the main roster women's division as a part of Sanity. They should have done that with Carmella with SAWFT, hopefully they don't make the same mistake with Nikki Cross.

We've talked about Paul Heyman perhaps leaving but if Paul Ellering comes in that vacancy left by Heyman, a hall of fame (wait... is Paul Heyman in the WWE Hall of Fame!?) manager, will be instantly filled by another.

I dunno, I see some delay more likely in the callups others see.

I see Almas retaining with shenanigan assistance from Vega. Black has been given the hard road in storylines since his arrival and I don't see that changing yet. As far as the Neville treatment for Almas goes, I'm hoping that will be avoided somewhat with this Cruiser championship at WM establishing a new direction for the division. Bringing Almas in (with Vega to create heat with the GM who looks to be a regular foil now) at that point could be safer, if that's the right word. Summerslam/TakeOver for Almas to depart NXT? That's my guess.

Moon vs Bayzler. I dunno. Moon did what was asked of her during the Asuka run. She went through her injury recovery which killed her storyline. It hasn't really been the NXT pattern to have short time womens champs. I think Moon keeps the belt for now. Every dad I know with young daughters says Moon's character works on their girls. I think the company will put more time on her with the belt before she gets called up. Bayzler is the relative equivalent of Strowman or the Bludgeon Brothers IMO. Screw the rules, "hurt" people, no friends, no loyalties. Which also brings no allies. I expect Bayzler to fight the whole division for a while yet, in ring and back stage.

Tag belt action has the potential to be the card stealer. Will be interesting to see how they plan this out

Women's champions hold typically 6 months-ish. If you remove Asuka from the equation, Paige held for about 9 months, Charlotte for about 3, Sasha for about 3. Bayley for 9. Ember is at about 6 right now.

Unless I'm remembering really poorly (totally possible, I admit) no one except for Asuka has held the NXT women's title for a long time, rather just long enough.

... Or did Charlotte hold for almost a year? Damnit now I'm going to have to look everything up.

Paige beat Emma in July to be the first women's champion in July 2013, vacated in April of 14, Charlotte beat Natty in May, lost in... Holy crap she lost in February of 15, that was a lot longer. That means Sasha's run was a lot longer than I thought too because her loss was at Brooklyn to Bayley. Still one of my all time favorite matches. Then Bayley held from Brooklyn till Dallas the following April.

Ok so if Ember holds for just under 5 months that is a good run, but still shorter than even Sasha Banks'.

I don't know that it bothers me any though.

Are things getting sped up too much lately in NXT? Should Ember hold till Brooklyn? Or for that matter should Baszler stay in NXT until WM 35? I guess that is something to consider.

The way they keep talking about Black being undefeated in singles competition says to me he’s taking the title.

Almas and Vega should probably be called up.
