Let it die.

I don't get the obsession to keep ressurrecting these old stables while banging on about 'pushing the young guys'. It's been done too many times to get anything out of it now, plus no matter how good it sounds at first people will keep getting added to the group until half the roster is nWo. It hasn't worked since '98 and should stay there.

Dear Kevin Nash,

I don't want NWO version 12.5.

WWE certainly doesn't need it either. They've shown they simply don't know what to do with a stable these days.

I think Nexus 3.0 is way more likely.

The only good thing that can come out of resurrecting old stables, is that the 10th iteration of Nexus can be called neXus.

As a rule recycled factions don't usually work, but there are a few that can be constantly brought back with some success, those include DX, The Four Horseman and the NWO. The history surrounding these massively successful groups means its a nice rub for a new talent to become part of the faction.

I would like to see Punk lead the group with Nash as his enforcer and recruit some NXT guys like Rollins, Steamboat, Ambrose and Kruger.

nWo has traditionally been about the main eventers hogging the spotlight though, I have doubts anyone will buy a bunch of green rookies with the black & white and an nWo tag.

I mean look at this shit.

agree, the NWO were main eventers, rightly or wrongly, and there simply aren't enough main eventers in WWE to do this.

anything less than a main event stable wouldn't be the NWO.

I've always said in the past the only way to truly make a new version of the NWO successful would be to do a John Cena heel-turn and have him take on the Hogan role in the group. But I can't see that happening for the usual obvious reasons.

A new version of Nexus might be a smarter route to go.

Now that could be interesting.

I think it would be a better to use Nash as some bitter vet that's been whispering in these guys' ears. But old man Nash isn't threatening enough to be an enforcer. If they need a big enforcer Mason Ryan is still just standing around.

This is the best response to all of this.  I think Nash is saying shit just to try to get attention. Obviously everyone thought "NWO" would happen last year, remember with the Miz and R Truth working with Nash, which could have meant something, especially after that Hell in the Cell attack. But then all of that blew up with the loss at Survivor Series and Truth got suspended.

So there's no reason for this to happen now. with the way punk's character looks to be going, he doesn't need to be with a faction or anyone by his side. he needs to continue to evolve on his own.
