Quote The New World Order created chaos in the ranks of World Championship Wrestling as the renegade faction sought success by any means necessary. Now, group founder Kevin Nash is looking to reform the nefarious faction and run roughshod over the world of wrestling once again.

"A lot of you wanted an NWO reunion, there will be one. As you know we only come in take over mode. Stay tuned!!!," he announced Tuesday night via Twitter.

The group's reformation could take place in WWE and if Nash has his wish fulfilled, with CM Punk as their leader. Nash tweeted to a fan that he wants the WWE Champion as group captain with the "NWO army to protect the gold."

"Rock will never walk out of the Rumble with the belt. We got Phil's back," he adds.

Meanwhile, TNA Wrestling executive Eric Bischoff re-tweeted Nash's announcement reading "A lot of you wanted an NWO reunion, there will be one. As you know we only come in take over mode. Stay tuned!!!"

Nash has a habit of tweeting stuff that will never actually happen, but I would actually love it if this is legit.

This would be a great way to get CM Punk over as a super-heel. Realistically Kevin Nash is the only original group member who could take part, Scott Hall is too messed up, Hogan is in TNA and even if he wasn't his back is too shot for him to do much physical stuff. Sean Waltman is a possibility if he can stay sober, but he will always be remembered in WWE for DX rather than the NWO.

The best way would be for Nash to become a bodyguard/enforcer for Punk and then build a new NWO group from there recruiting new younger guys.

Hmm i'll believe it when I see it happening in front of my eyes. I'm not too sure the 'E' would go that route being PG an all, but TNA, well it's kind of happening already with the Aces & Eights.

Who in wwe would actually work in the "new-age" NWO?

Punk is a given, Nash since you need an NWO founder in it for it to be the NWO and who else? The roster is so bland and unappealing that I dont see anyone that can fit in the group

An obvious choice would be a guy like Drew McIntyre who tends to be more unruly and who could do with something big to push him along nicely. Wade Barrett could also fit in nicely. Other than those two i'm struggling LOL

1) On the current roster i'd stick to Punk and as already mentioned maybe Drew Mcintyre.

2) NWO has never been about big muscles so someone like Dean Ambrose could be thrown in there.

3) To make it different to the past and so the group can go after every belt maybe put Paige in there. She already wears NWO all black outfit LOL

Otunga, Barrett and Rhodes have already done the faction thing and now outgrown it.

Hero could work though, as could Leo Kruger who looks really good.

Bring in Shelley and Sabin and we can see Doctor Nash style segments again.
