NSPW Championship Match
Simon Martel (c) vs Pee Wee

(One of the true highlights of Kick Off 2012 was without a doubt the crowning of a new champion. Indeed, Simon Martel decided to use his guaranteed Championship Match to insert himself in the Kevin Steen vs Matt Falco match. According to Martel, Steen was a champion past his prime and Matt Falco always choked key matches. But if winning the NSPW Championship was an important step, retaining it is even harder. For his title defense, Simon Martel will face an opponent who was somewhat robbed from his last chance at the title. At 3rd Anniversary Show, Pee Wee was about to beat Kevin Steen for the championship when Damian Steele decided the moment was right to return and absolutely destroyed Pee Wee! At Kick Off 2012, Pee Wee returned to the ring after a 3-month hiatus and despite the fact his team lost the match (due to Johnny Jack Spade being KOed), Pee Wee proved he still got it. NSPW management decided to grant Pee Wee another chance since he was screwed of his last attempt.)

NSPW Tag Team Championship Match
Super Smash Bros (c) vs The Spoilers

(After missing January due to contractual obligations outside the country, new North Shore Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions The Super Smash Bros will be back in the ring at Unleashed. It was last December in a Cage Match against Michael Style & Marko Estrada that they established themselves as the tag team champions. This victory came with lots of effort and perseverance since even Sofy's return didn't prevent them from winning the title when Stupefied smacked her right in the face with a chair shot. The Super Smash Bros never backed down from a challenge and on February 4th, they will put their titles on the line for the first time. On the opposite side of the ring, we can say whatever we want about Carl Choquette and Pauly Platinum but their victory at Kick Off 2012 was a big one since they've defeated Razen (former NSPW Tag Team Champion) and Ivan Sullivan (former NSPW Tag Team Champion, former NCW Tag Team Champion & former NWA Canadian Tag Team Champion). For a while, they were seeking fans' adulation to sell a few t-shirts or earning themselves a shot in the Heavyweight Tournament but at Kick Off 2012, they proved to be the most efficient when they let their true colors come out. Win at all cost, by any means necessary, that's why The Spoilers are dangerous contenders for the current champions.)

Tag Team Match
Marko Estrada & Michael Style /acc Sofy vs Alex Silva & ? ? ? ?

(Since Golden Opportunity III, a rivalry began between Style & Estrada and the Super Smash Bros. It should have normally ended at Final Chapter 2011 but Sofy's return and the Stupefied Chair Shot Incident only heated things even more. Since they couldn't confront them at Kick Off 2012, we can bet that Style & Estrada will exchange a few words with the Super Smash Bros. However, that rivalry didn't prevent them to make other enemies as we have seen from the Michael Style vs Alex Silva showdown. After beating Style, Silva was immediately ambushed by Estrada who was quickly joined by Style and Sofy. However, Alex had the chance to get payback later on when following an interference from Style in the Estrada/Finlay match, Silva charged the ring to hit Style and send him backstage. Following those events, Style & Estrada challenged Alex Silva to a tag team match on February 4th at Unleashed and Silva told us he had a few names in mind for a tag team partner.)

Tag Team Match
Wrestling's Hottest Tag Team (Brown & LeBlond) /w Lily vs Ivan Sullivan & Razen

(The night of January 14th, 2012 ended on a sour note for Ivan Sullivan, Razen and Joe Kovick. Not only did they suffer a loss at the hands of the Spoilers, they were also the recipients of Wrestling's Hottest Tag Team's frustrations. Nobody ever questioned the value of Wrestling's Hottest Tag Team on a North Shore Pro Wrestling card but the fact they weren't booked enraged the former tag team champions. As far as Razen goes, he hasn't laced his wrestling boots again for nothing and while most bosses would've simply suspended wrestlers for their behavior, he believes there isn't any better alternative than settle grudges in front of the NSPW crowd! Following Kick Off 2012, even with the loss, Razen and Sullivan decided to keep going together and join the tag team division. For these two former tag team champions, Unleashed will be the occasion to prove they're still valuable to the tag team division while offering themselves the chance to get their hands on Wrestling's Hottest Tag Team!)

Singles Match
Damian Steele vs Matt Falco

(Damian Steele will be in action at Unleashed as he'll face off with Matt Falco. Falco is coming back from a loss at the hands of Kevin Steen and Simon Martel and it is clear that Martel's insinuations about Falco being a "choke artist" is heavily weighing on his conscience. A victory against an impact player like Damian Steele could very well take Falco closer to a rematch against new champion Martel.)

(Note: Before the show, ring announcer JS Trudel announced to the crowd he was stepping down as ring announcer since management assigned him to another position. He then introduces the new North Shore Pro Wrestling ring announcer....ALEX PRICE!)

Results for Unleashed

The show starts with the debuting VT Valentine, making his way to the ring. He tells the crowd that for a while now, he has taken a wrestler under his wing, he advised him in making the right decisions and to think about himself and it looks like it worked since he is the new NSPW Champion, Simon Martel. The champion makes his way to the ring, talks about his victory and mentioned it was easy since, as usual, Matt Falco choked again.

Falco comes out and takes the mic. He tells Simon that since he claims he's always choking, he can choke on this and gives him a big boot before throwing him outside the ring. He then grabs VT by the collar of his shirt but VT reminds him he has very powerful friends in Quebec wrestling and Falco seemingly forgot that. This is when Damian Steele, former protégé of VT Valentine, makes his entrance. Falco turns his attention to Damian and VT seizes the opportunity to chop block him. Damian enters the ring, jumps on Falco and the opening match starts.

Match #1
Damian Steele w/ VT & Martel beat Matt Falco

At the end, Falco turns his attention to VT and Martel, which allows Damian to hit him with his Lariat. Falco is then knocked out and the match must be stopped.

Postmatch, VT tells Falco he'll never get close to the title because he doesn't have what it takes. He also tells Damian they'll do anything for him to get revenge on Pee Wee.

Match #4
NSPW Tag Team  Championship Match
Super Smash Bros (c) beat The Spoilers

Postmatch, Michael Style, Marko Estrada & Sofy make their way on the stage. Style presents highlights from Final Chapter when Stupefied superkicked Sofy. Style tells the champs that not only they'll pay for having their belts, their actions on Sofy won't remain unpunished. Style and Estrada charge the ring to face Uno and Stupefied.

Alex Silva then comes to the ring. He congratulates the champions for their victory and understand the history between The Super Smash Bros and Style & Estrada but tonight, he has some business problems to settle with Style & Estrada. The tag team champions leave while telling Style & Estrada they'll see each other again. Once they left, Silva is about to announce his partner but he's attacked by Style and Marko. They beat Silva up and this is when FRANKY THE MOBSTER makes the save and clear the ring. He then announces he will be Silva's tag team partner tonight.

MAIN EVENT
NSPW Championship Match
Simon Martel (c) beat Pee Wee

Towards the end of the match, Pee Wee hits his Smiling Cutter on Martel. Damian Steele then comes out to the ring but Pee Wee dropkicks him between the ropes, followed by his BME Moonsault on Martel. As the referee is about to count 3, VT pulls him outside. While Pee Wee is upset at VT' Martel low-blows him. At this moment, Matt Falco comes through the crowd, climbs in the ring and hits Martel with a Reverse Samoan Drop. Very short time to celebrate since he got leveled by Damian's Lariat as soon as he got up. Pee Wee then hits Steele with his Smiling Cutter. The match then ends with Martel using the Oklahoma Roll (and a handful of tights) to pin Pee Wee and retain the North Shore Pro Wrestling Championship. Pee Wee stays several minutes at ringside, physically and mentally beaten as the show ends.

Next event will be on March 3rd and will feature Damian Steele vs Eddie Kingston as well as the Super Smash Bros defending their tag team titles against Mathieu St. Jacques & Thomas Dubois!
