Partial Card

6-Men Tag Team Match
The Spoilers (Choquette & Platinum) & ? ? ? ? vs Razen, Ivan Sullivan & Joe Kovick
(At the end of the Final Chapter 2011 Battle Royal, the Spoilers attacked Sullivan & Kovick, costing them a guaranteed match on the main card of Kick Off 2012. Razen came out to tell Choquette and Pauly it was for them to stop clowning around and the best way to make that happen is to step back into the ring and also give Sullivan & Kovick what the Spoilers took away from them. So, Choquette and Platinum will have to find a partner, which will prove to be difficult; since Mathieu St-Jacques left, they've never been able to find a 3rd member for the Spoilers.)

MAIN EVENT
Marko Estrada /w/Michael Style & Sofy vs Dave "Fit" Finlay

(2011 ended on a sour note for Estrada when he and Michael Style lost the NSPW Tag Team Titles at the hands of the Super Smash Brothers in a Steel Cage Match; a heartbreaking loss that left a bitter taste in the former champions' mouth. But Estrada doesn't do things halfway and if you crush his massive ego, he'll work twice as hard to prove to everyone he's the best and that all should recognize him as an exceptional individual. Enter Dave "Fit" Finlay. The WWE & WCW veteran is the main draw for Kick Off 2012 and according to Marko, he'll garner the spotlight in January. He wants to climb back on top, wants to regain a belt and a victory against somebody as seasoned as Finlay would certainly steer him back in the right direction. But Finlay isn't coming to Quebec City to be easy pickings. He is proud, competitive and displays a certain pleasure in brutalizing his opponents. A victory against a former NSPW Tag Team Champion would most certainly place Finlay in a good position to challenge for the title in an upcoming visit. On January 14th, it will be Finlay's stiffness and endurance against the agility and smarts of Estrada. The only thing left to find out is who will impose his style and take the victory!)

NSPW Championship Match
Kevin Steen (c) vs Matt Falco

(At Kick Off 2011, Matt Falco and Giovanni faced off in a #1 Contenders Match for the North Shore Pro Wrestling Championship. The match ended in a no-contest and a 1-year war ensued in which no one could get a decisive victory. It was finally inside a steel cage that in December, during Final Chapter 2011, that they settled their score. Matt Falco, the big winner of this rivalry, proved without a shadow of a doubt that if someone between him and Giovanni deserved a title shot first, it was indeed himself. On January 14th, NSPW management grants him this opportunity when he'll square off against "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen for the NSPW Championship. Steen is coming off strong victories over Pee Wee and the duo of Mathieu St-Jacques and Thomas "The Pipes" Dubois and intends to retain a title that he convoluted since his NSPW debut.)

Michael Style w/ Marko Estrada & Sofy vs Alex Silva

(Alex Silva made his official debut on the NSPW roster at Final Chapter 2011 and he didn't miss his chance when he took care of former tag team champions Tom LeBlond & Mr. Brown. For the first 2012 show, Alex Silva asked to wrestle another former champion, this time the only NSPW wrestler to have held both the NSPW Heavyweight & NSPW Tag Team Championship, Michael Style. For Silva, to defeat another former champion is the perfect way to get closer in his quest for the NSPW Championship. As for Style, he just lost his tag team championship and like Estrada, he wants to forget this bitter loss. While he's still unknown for the NSPW fans, Silva is an experimented and seasoned opponent for anyone and a victory for Style would only boost his confidence. Style will also be counting on Sofy, who will surely be quite a nuisance, just one more for Silva to worry about during the match...)

*Special Attraction*
Open-Challenge
P.S. vs ????

(In 2009, when he was about to step into the ring with pro boxer Patrice L'Heureux, nobody ever left P.S. a chance to survive. The radio host had no prior fighting experience other than a few training sessions. Much to everyone's surprise, he kept hanging and got out of it in one piece. A little bit more than 2 years went by and P.S., still working in the Quebec City radio world (although for a new employer), always has that raging fire burning inside, desiring to stand danger in the face. At no moment in life do we feel more alive than when we stand in front of someone begging to destroy us and we then are able to overcome the odds. NSPW respect those embracing this philosophy and NSPW management signed P.S. to a verbal agreement. On January 14th, P.S. will step into a North Shore Pro Wrestling ring and has thrown an open challenge to any Quebec wrestler to face him off!)

Combat Par Équipe
Damian Steele & Giovanni vs Pee Wee & Johnny Jack Spade
(At the 3rd Anniversary Show, when Pee Wee thought he was on the verge of becoming the new champion, the lights went out and when they came back on, Damian Steele was standing in the ring. Ensued his devastating Lariat and the end result: Pee Wee hasn't been seen in NSPW since October. This January, he's back in action and wants to get his hands on Damian. The reasons for Damian's attack are still unknown but he clearly has something weighing in his mind. Meanwhile, Johnny Jack Spade wanted Giovanni to taste his own medicine at Final Chapter 2011 by viciously attacking him with a chair but "The Real Deal" took advantage from a moment of distraction from Spade to send him flying on the concrete floor with a Big Boot. For Kick Off 2012, NSPW starts the 2nd half of the season and joined these two rivalries together in a tag team match.)

Four Corner Survival
Urban Miles vs Markus Blade vs Radd Adams vs Judas
(This match will constitute in a quite interesting quartet. First off, Urban Miles, still undefeated in NSPW since his debut, will try to keep his streak going and to come closer from his goal to clinch a first major title. Then, Fred "La Merveille" Lauzon was scheduled to compete in this match but will be out of action due to a minor injury so management turned to their farm system Generation Next for a substitution. This will be a golden opportunity for Markus Blade to be dominant on the next level. As far as Radd Adams goes, he had quite a rough 2011 and after a loss at the hands of Simon Martel, he's looking to get back on the winning side of things. The biggest question mark might be Judas who has recently been crually missing some consistency. He hasn't found himself cumulating losses but doesn't have a shining winning record either. It will be interesting to see if Judas will have the motivation and the determination to survive against 3 other wrestlers who clearly are seeking victory!

Sucks for Kevin Steen getting a "WWE" treatment: he's the Champion, but his match isn't the main event LOL

No matter where you put Steen on the card, you'll always get a good match. When Paul London came back for his 2nd show last spring, his match vs Kevin Steen opened the show and it's a MOTYC in Quebec for 2011.

But having Finlay main event the show is pretty understandable; he's the biggest star ever to work an NSPW show. Steen vs Falco will be good but Finlay vs Estrada will be equally as good. I've seen Estrada wrestle for a few years now and he's ready to work a match with Finlay. And he's a heat magnet as well, along with his tag team partner Michael Style and their manager Sofy so no doubt in my mind, we'll get our money's worth!

Here are the results for Kick Off 2012:

-Before the introductions for the first match, ring announcer J-S Trudel is interrupted by Wrestling's Hottest Tag Team, Tom LeBlond & Mr. Brown along with their valet Lily. They are upset about being left off the card of the first show for 2012 so they're taking over. Mr. Brown appoints himself the referee, Lily the timekeeper and Tom LeBlond the ring announcer.

-The Spoilers & Alex Ledger beat Razen, Ivan Sullivan & Joe Kovick. Postmatch, LeBlond & Brown deliver a beatdown on Razen, Sullivan and Kovick with kendo sticks, guaranteeing that 2012 will be their year.

-Radd Adams beat Markus Blade

-The winner of the Heavyweight Tournament at FIFTY, Franky The Mobster, is announced to return on February 4th at Unleashed.

-Alex Silva beat Michael Style (w/Sofy & Marko Estrada) following a botched interference from Marko Estrada.

-Damian Steele & Giovanni beat Pee Wee & Johnny Jack Spade after Steele KOed Spade with his lariat. Postmatch, Damian Steele reminds Pee Wee that for 2 years, he was undefeated until Pee Wee beat him. Steele says that's the reason why he interfered in his match at 3rd Anniversary Show and promises Pee Wee he'll never come close a title belt ever again.

-Urban Miles beat Judas

-A video package is shown and confirms that on March 3rd, Chikara Pro champion Eddie Kingston will appear in NSPW and he will square off against Damian Steele!

-NSPW Champion "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen and challenger Matt Falco arrive for their title match when they're interrupted by Simon Martel. Martel decides to cash in on his title opportunity he won in his Do or Die Match at 3rd Anniversary Show and includes himself in the match.

NSPW Championship Match: Simon Martel beat "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen and Matt Falco to win the title in a stunning upset!

-In the main event, Fit Finlay beat Marko Estrada (w/Michael Style & Sofy). Style tried to interfere early but was brought backstage by Alex Silva. At the end of the match, Sofy tried to interfere by low blowing Finlay while he was attempting the Celtic Cross on Estrada. Sofy grabbed the ring bell while the referee was knocked out but Finlay took it away from her. Finlay threw the bell at Sofy and the ref caught her with the hand in the cookie jar. Sofy was ejected and Finlay got the victory with the Celtic Cross.
