Sad to see Middlesbrough going too.

Middlesbrough were one of those teams that you knew were never going to achieve much in the premier league, but were always great to watch on MOTD because you never knew what was going to happen. They'd get hammered by the likes of Spurs then suddenly draw/beat Chelsea/Liverpool or another high-tier premier club.

I'm going to miss Southgate's hilarious interviews...

Delighted to see Newcastle go down, team of money grabbing prima-donnas managed by two useless idiots in Shearer & Dowie with the most deluded fans in England, to any of the Buffoon Army that may be on here, if you think you'll bounce right back up again, you should think about it a little bit more, ask the likes of Southamption, QPR, Leeds or Charlton how easy it is, even Blackburn, who took 2 years to get back into the Premiership after they got relegated, and Man City, who were stuck in the old Division One for years, even relegated to Division Two for one season before managing to get back in the Premiership again.

United will struggle to keep hold of players next season, if they do then they might just stay up.

Guys like Owen, Martins, and more will be looking for new clubs.

They'll have hard luck finding them, the way the lot of them played this season, they all looked like idiots with no idea how to play football as a team. I know if I was a top-flight manager, I'd not want any of them anywhere near my club.

* The photoshop people have already been to work on taking the piss LOL

* I actually feel sorry a little for Mike Ashley with the shit he's got off the fans and the vast sum of cash he's lost on them.

* Shearer is being stupid as well expecting 20 million to spend on new players.

How can a the manager of a relegated club expect £20 million to spend, thats insane considering the amount of revenue their going to lose, traditionally clubs have to rapidly cut costs when dropping out of the top flight and i cant see how Newcastle would be any different.
The owner is prepared to take a huge loss in order to sell them, i would expect the top players to all be shown the exit through the summer in order to reduce the huge wage bill and recoup some of the money spent on them.

The released fixture list was a real kick in the teeth for Newcastle fans I think, putting them against West Brom on the first day of the season, considering that was a Premiership fixture last season...

My god, if my club changed the name of the stadium to sportsdirect.com @ anything, I'd be embarrassed to go to the place...

I was in the Sir John Hall Stand (Lower Tier) at the NUFC v Reading game earlier this season and got shown close up on Sky Sports after Ameobi's hat-trick pen, 'tis a nice ground and good town.
