   in a few sundays time the NFL season starts again until febuary. for me the season is too short because the sport is great to watch. it is the most watched sport in the world afterall. i dont expect much from my sanfransico 49ers. they were the worse team in the sport last season. hopefully the new draft picks will be better. losing terrell owens last year didnt help them. i dont see anyone stopping the new england patriots again. they steamroll through any other team. there defence is crap but with tom brady they have the 2nd best quarterback in NFL. indianapolis colts will yet again come unstuck when they get new england in the playoffs. i think the colts rely too much on peyton manning who is the best quarterback ever. and marvin harrison who is a fantastic wide reciever.

	hah i thought this was for the football league like crew ect.! quite like american football - i always watch the superbowl even though my team the bears are naff. better than san fransico tho! prefer basketball does any1 watch it here?

	How can you say the Patriots defense is crap?I know they did lose some stars on Defense in Ty Law(with the Jets),Tedy Bruschi(sitting out after a stroke),and Ted Johnson retirement.But that is what helped them win 3 out of 4 superbowls.Bill Bellicheck is a defensive mastermind so I rely and trust in him,The main concern is actually Tom Brady's health looks like he has a bad shoulder.I am a pats fan being that I am from New England.

	you have it easy because your local team is by far the best team in nfl. they is much better defences in the nfl. look when you played the colts in the playoffs. you won because of tom brady's passes. it was an high scoring game because the defence conceed alot. the greatest wide receiver ever as announced his retirement. jerry rice of 49ers and oakland was at the top of his game for 20 years and holds a mountain of records. won 3 superbowls and a MVP award. there will never be another like him. do you go to alot of matches of the patriots ? id have thought getting a ticket would be very tough. you should beat oakland raiders tonight. be interesting to see how the new orleans saints play because they cant play at there own ground.

	The Saints are not even sure where they will play their home games at.Their first home game or what was supposed to be their first is going to be played against the Giants at the Giants stadium.No I dont go to alot of Pats games actually never have been to 1.The tickets are hard to come by and when you do it is extremly expensive.The Pats defense held the Colts to just 3 points in the playoff game so it was really Brady.In football not just 1 player can win you a game,you need a team around them.

	watched the 2nd half of patriots versus raiders. patriots sneak it 30-20 against one of the worse teams in the nfl. but its first game and they wont be in there stride yet. patriots do rely on tim brady an awful lot. he did 2 touchdown passes and threw over 300 yards. randy moss 72 yard touchdown to put raiders in front was great. hes going to be a HUGE loss to the minesota vikings.

	the patriotts lost yesterday which was an early shock. colts were shocking in there 10-3 win. waiting until the last quarter to get the only touchdown. peyton manning was shocking and deserved the boos he got. he only as to come on a throw a ball. not hard and he aint expected to ever have an off day.

	I picked Carolina to beat the Patriots even though I am a Pats fan.I just didn't see Carolina losing 2 games in a row at home to start the year.If New England cannot establish a running game it will be a long season,Tom Brady or not.You saw what he did this past week when there was no running game and the D could pin their ears back and key in on the pass.This week can be another ugly game against the Steelers.
