* I'm glad MVP won because I want him to have a long title run and feel the whole MVP/Matt Hardy stuff has been done to death.

* I know roles are reversed, but it doesn't make up for the fact we have seen them face eachother loads before.

* They couldn't have a match as good as the ones they have had in the past anyway due to the cast Matt still has on.

Agreed, Matt vs. MVP shouldnt have to happen again, as it was done to death on Smackdown, they (WWE) should use Matt as a major heel since there major faces are Cena and Batista (and Hunter when he comes back) and really WWE should use The Miz in that role chasing for MVP's championship.

When MVP turned face i was happy, mainly because i was sick of the losing streak angle and i thought his character would work well as a face.
However now on Raw and seemingly being pushed towards the main events im not convinced MVP works as a face, he only gets a lukewarm fan reaction at times and his character has been watered down and he relies to heavilly on cheap pops for his ''ballin'' catchphrase and elbow drop, i can see him going the same route as Cena and ending up receiving boos from a large percentage of the audience, his in ring outfit and gimmick still scream heel in my opinion, even with WWE modifying his character to make him more of a family friendly fan favorite.

You also have to wonder if MVP would ever squeeze past Cena, HHH and Batista in the elite babyface pecking order.
I think MVP may be better suited to being a heel on Raw and maybe becoming the leader of a faction.

I have to agree because I cant see him getting in the elite babyface pecking order with Cena, Triple H and Batista (when he isnt injured) being the main three guys and with Flair back aswell, it doesnt really give MVP much of a chance to be over as a force because there are two to three guys ahead of him. Now if MVP was still on Smackdown, I reckon WWE would have no choice but to have him as a threat to Punk's title, but since he's on Raw, WWE are more focused now on getting Cena, Orton, Triple H and Big SHow as there top 4 guys which doesnt leave MVP much but to lay within the midcard ranks.

MVP showed alot of promise when Triple H wasnt there but once Hunter arrived you may aswell say MVP's chance of rising above the midcard area was just taken away from him.

I think they got rid of it because it went with MVP's heel persona and now that he's a good guy they got rid of it, which IMO doesnt make sense and I'm probably wrong but hey who knows, lol.

* Someone tell creative that babyface matches don't usually work as the fans don't know who to cheer for.

* HHH did quite a bit of selling for MVP and then went and spoilt it by pinning him cleaning bang in the centre of the ring out of nowhere.

* As i've said before it's hard to get into a match when it's pretty predictable who's going to win what you are watching.

One thing was very obvious from his match with HHH this week, and that was the Game is far more popular, the crowd were firmly in Trippers corner throughout and MVP received mostly boos with only a mild reaction to even his ballin elbow drop.

I cannot see MVP progressing further than mid card at present, at least not as a babyface, the main event scene is pretty loaded on Raw anyway so it may be a case that he will be stuck in mid card as a heel or a face, but i think MVP did his best work as a heel and his character is not suited to being a babyface.

I dont think fans can really get behind MVP as a face, I think they are more use to him being a cocky heel because as face, he's just to tame and isnt as exciting as he was when being a heel, his character IMO doesnt play well as a face, because as a heel I actually felt that was the real MVP, cocky, arrogant, ever so lucky kind of guy while being a face he just doesnt have the charisma, the excitement behind it.

Raw's main event scene is too crowded also, with Hunter and Cena the top two faces and Orton and Big Show the top two heels, MVP's best chances going past mid-card would only to be putting those 4 guys over and that be it.

i would much rather see MVP go back to being a heel. i think its widely agreed he does his best work there.

id also like to see him promoted to main event and drop show down to upper-mid, putting him in a khali like role.

edit

also, in monday's match, all HHH did was a punch near the start, and a pedigree.

that it.

MVP carried the match, did everything, all the moves, countered everything HHH tried. it left me with a sour taste in my mouth. not cool booking.
