Happens all the time, I don't take combat sports seriously anymore.

Dunno why Dana doesn't hire his own judges at this point, the commission ones are useless and at worst, corrupt. Look at most of Leonard Garcia's fights in the UFC, these guys are truly incompetent.

Dana White can't hire his own judges. The minute he does that he might as well let the guys start wearing masks and facepaint.

MMA wants to be a legit sport. For that reason they have to deal with the different state athlete commissions. The big issue with that is most of the commission judges are qualified in boxing and not MMA. So these judges are used to watching strikes and counter-punches, not with grappling and takedowns. That and there's always the possibility of some sort of payoff.

Dana is mostly pissed off that GSP might go ahead and retire as champ. Dana thinks that would be embarrassing. I'm annoyed that Dana made his favoritism so blatant.

Dana wouldn't be pissed at GSP if he was retiring. GSP didn't retire, he just said he needs to go away for a while. That has given Dana no timeline for when GSP is set to return. So basically he has no idea what he should do whether to wait for Georges to rock up from his break, create an interim title or vacate the title and do Hendricks vs ....... Lawler? maybe? he did just beat the next top guy.

The judging criteria is completely stupid. "Octagon control"? Who cares if you have Octagon control if you are getting picked off from the bloke on the inside.

Surely there are some former MMA fighters that can get involved in judging, You can't look like GSP did and win the fight. On the MMA analysis show, Cormia (another points fighter) was another claiming GSP won. Seriously over the sport because of this

Shane del Rosario has died aged 30 after a massive heart attack and stroke.

I think that makes him only the second fighter to pass away while under contract to UFC, first being Evan Tanner. Neither due to injuries while competing though.

They are the only two I can think of off the top of my head. Word was he wasn't going to make it through the night. Obviously such a terrible thing for somebody who was 30.
All Hail Mitchell Johnson and David Warner.

I'd say that took balls, but well...

That would seriously be a match I would pay to see.

It's also something I would love to see WWE play out at some point in time (again).

Do I think she could do it? No not likely. But I admire the attitude.

To be fair she also said she could beat Cain Velasquez which is an even better statement.
All Hail Mitchell Johnson and David Warner.

Very true. Again, I don't think she can, but I love that she seems to think she can and is talking smack.

If anything, I think she is the Danica Patrick of mma.

She sucks and is only popular for being a mildly hot female in a male dominated sport?

Not quite that extreme. Danica Patrick did lead the Indy 500 for a few laps. She's also leaps and bounds better than any other woman I've ever seen in indy car racing.

That is about what I would say of Ronda Rousey.
