I am a fan of MMA too. I watch UFC mainly but I have watched K1 and Cage Rage before though. My favourites in UFC are Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz.

JDS/Velasquez was AWESOME, can't believe guys chin held up so long after that 1st round and relentless pressure. Still think Reem takes both, but wouldn't mind another rematch after that fight.

Lauzon vs Miller was TREMENDOUSSSSSS too. J-Lau must of needed a transfusion after all that blood loss. Fuck sake man.

Anderson Silva got KTFO ... not sure what he was playing at with what looked to be a lack of respect

He's done it so many times successfully that its an actual game plan. Basically he pisses his opponent off so much that they rush in at him and he picks them apart.

Fight with Forrest Griffin is a prime example.

He went completely overboard in the fight with Weidman and he got tagged. They will fight again and it will be a massive pay day for the UFC.

Chael laid the blueprint of how to beat Silva which is being a great wrestler who pressures Silva on the feet.

I laughed at people saying it was rigged. UFC's two superfights will never be as big as they would of been if Silva was still undefeated in the UFC when he faced GSP or Jones.

Total fluke and Anderson murders him in the rematch.

Sounds like they are working on Anderson vs Roy Jones Jr though, which is horrific.

I couldn't believe it when Dana talked about Anderson getting anywhere near Roy Jones. We don't hear much about MMA in Australia, has Roy Jones become another boxer talking shit about MMA or something?

The rematch will get set for early next year and Anderson should get the win and will then will probably look to set up the match with GSP provided he can avoid Hendrick's right hand in November. Anderson probably has about 5 fights top left and the fight with Georges makes a lot more sense than the one with Jones considering Jones has Gustafson, Glover and Cormia still to beat before he has swept the division.

We didn't really get to see if Weidman can take down Silva consistently unlike we did with Sonnen so its not a given that he can get it to the ground in the rematch.

I guess I'll put it here.

I now have zero faith in MMA judging. Gathered with a couple of mates for UFC 167 and seriously we were completely speechless of how two judges could score that fight to GSP. Hendricks was all over him, neutralised GSP's wrestling, something nobody has been able to do and dominated on the feet. I don't give a flying shit about the stats that had GSP slightly winning the striking battle, Hendricks murdered him on the feet.

Then saw Dominick Cruz writing some shit about how GSP won on points basically referencing shit like being in the middle of the Octagon which is the most stupid argument out.

Hendricks "I don't care about GSP, I just beat him, all I want is the belt" Hendricks is the man.
