Dunno if I am reading right. You left your girlfriend or she left you for someone unhinged?

I was reading it as if you'd finished her, but if that's true I don't get why you'd be depressed about your choice.

We are all here for you man.

The way i read it is as if he enjoyed the thrill of the chase, finally got the workmate and now regrets the decision.

The grass isnt always greener mate - is it too late to reconcile with your ex?

Baz

At 10 years old I had been permanently excluded from 4 primary schools for violent outbursts to literally anyone, not too dissimilar to your circumstances. I ended up going to an EBD (emotional behavioural difficulty) school from 11-16 as a result, boarding there Monday to Friday because of how I was. I was on the child protection register for the harm I could cause to myself and my siblings. I had a statement of special needs because of it (now called an EHC plan) as although not diagnosed with anything it was obvious I needed help. Speak with the council, any support/social worker assigned to yourselves (if none then demand one as your child is a risk to the other children) and see whether an EHC plan or whether specialist education is a viable option (the school I went to is now under https://www.priorychildrensservices.co.uk/ and is worth a look to see if there’s one local to you). I had family support workers, social workers, behavioural psychologists all involved and nothing worked till I went to my school.
I cannot stress enough just a difference it made to made and helped me understand my own behaviour, why I acted out and what I could do to change. I went from being the person that my older sister told everyone how she couldn’t wait to leave home to get away from ‘psycho Joe’, to being so close that I am godfather to her only child and I was round hers for Sunday dinner last weekend.

It’s not often that I post something serious on here these days, but I can honestly say that these things can pass and get better. It was tough, and took me a few years after school to work things out for me (the outburst towards others stopped though) but I got through it. Just keep fighting for the 10 year old.

We're awaiting a EHC plan to be put in place as we yet again have requested one. The last two times we tried for it we got rejected for some unknown reason.

We've recently have an IAS (Integrated Autism Society) setup locally so will be hitting them up for advice and support moving forward too. They've already tried throwing the whole he can't diagnose card when i've already told them we have a diagnosis we just need support so they're looking into options for us too.

It's always nice to hear positive experiences, and with MH being in and around the news for various reasons again it's always good to hear others open up about their experiences too.

Well crap... Spent the day at the hospital with my dad and mom. My dad was having issues with an irregular heartbeat, and slight chest pains. He is 82 and has been doing well, but I guess everyone gets old. He seems to think he is just fine and everyone is over reacting, but my mom gets confused and got herself lost in the hospital when she was headed to the bathroom so she called her sister who went to find her because she lives close, and then she called me, and I've been here ever since.

Fun...

Well this is some serious bullshit. I took my mom home and was going to spend the night her so she would be alone, and we get here and someone had broken in and trashed the place. It looks like we got here pretty early in the process, because they don't appear to have taken anything, but my mom is 80 years old and now freaked out of her mind.

God I hate this damned town.

Sorry to hear about your dad. My mum gets chest pains because of her osteoporosis and osteoarritus. Can see why that worries you. Until her heart got the all clear and it was put down to her conditions it was scary. Parents are the main people in the lives of most folk. The people that mould you into the person you grow up to be.

Have the police found the bastards yet? I don't get why nothing was taken. No point taking the risk of breaking into someones own which is bad enough and then leave empty handed. Maybe they got disturbed.

I hope your mum is feeling better today. It's understandable she's going to struggle, but I am sure you and your loved ones will give her plenty of support.

Hope your parents are doing better Rico this type of thing sucks and I'm sure the doctors are doing their best to help your dad.

Hope the bastards that broke in are found mate and hopefully your mum has been able to calm down about it.
