Via his Instagram account, Mauro Ranallo announces he is coming back to WWE as part of NXT's announce team. No details on when he will be debuting with the brand as of yet!

So there was obviously truth to the whole JBL thing then and Mauro has things over WWE to come back this quickly after leaving. It'll be great to have Mauro on NXT as he'll work superbly well with Nigel...it may even bring Percy on a bit as he is utter tripe in fairness...plus it gets rid of Tom so that's a good thing too.

So Mauro is leaving WWE

The reason hasn't been reported yet but its a huge loss for the NXT brand in my opinon as he is the best play by play announcer in all of wrestling.

I wonder if it all stems back to his falling out with Graves as he hasnt really beem the same or around as often as he normally would be

Its said he wants to devote more time working on raising awareness for mental health while also working as a MMA and Boxing announcer, with all this stuff going on he couldn't commit to working for WWE/NXT full-time and a mutual decision was reached for Mauro and WWE to part ways.

I agree he was the best announcer WWE had by some way and its a big loss, the trouble is I dont think he was the corporate yes man that Vince McMahon wants his announcers to be.

I know its a long shot but can you imagine a AEW announce desk of Mauro Ranallo, Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone? What a dream announce squad that would be.
