Now I know he is in OVW but its not exactly WWE so...

Who else loves him?

Im a HUGE! fan of his and his work in the ring, WWE have got a great talent on there books and will hopefully use him correctly.

I love his match with Jack Evans in WSX (wow! remember that show?)

Matt Sydal is an amazingly talented guy. I personally think it's a shame he went to WWE/OVW because I can't imagine him wrestling WWE's way. His work in TNA a while back was awesome. His time in ROH was amazing.

Did you imagine CM Punk wrestling the WWE style before he signed with them?

I'm not worried about Matt Sydal.

Matt SYdal I think will fit in well in the WWE.

A good cruiserweight champ, maybe even US or IC

I hated thinking of CM Punk wrestling WWE's way. Still do, hence why I don't actually watch WWE programming anymore. I can call matches on any of the WWE shows, they're that predictable these days. At least TNA allows their wrestlers a little bit of freedom with the moves they can do in the ring.

Matt Sydal, I think, will probably only ever be Cruiser champ, if that. I don't see him being pushed, due to the fact that he's quite a small guy which is totally the opposite of what Vince likes.

My question will probably sound stupid to you but I'm gonna risk myself to ask you anyway: why did he sign him then?

Sydal (if used properly) could bring in big money, he can work a crowd and entertain in a match, as I said though if used properly I think he could be a world champ. Look at Orton he is 6'2 and not overly huge like Lashley is, and even CM Punk.

It looks like Matt Sydal has found himself in the center of some controversy.

The former WWE Superstar who performed as Evan Bourne was scheduled and advertised to appear at a pair of British Championship Wrestling (BCW) events this weekend, however he failed to show up at either show.

As a result, the BCW promotion has gone public with the story, claiming that not only did Sydal no-show both events this weekend, but he is refusing to return his portion of a $1,500 booking deposit. Sydal's agent, Bill Behrens, returned his $300 portion of the deposit, so the promotion is claiming that Sydal owes them $1,200.

BCW also went public with the response that was given to them by Sydal when they asked him for their booking deposit to be returned.

"A deposit is a deposit," Sydal wrote. "It’s so that you can announce and promote me and sell tickets, which you did. I made every effort reasonable to make the show. I let you know as soon as there was an issue and I never intended to make your life so challenging. I don’t have [money] to buy myself a ticket. I tried to work with British Airways but they were no help and neither were you. I would have loved to make the shows and collect my pay days. But you get to keep those. I would apply the deposit towards another show which is what reasonable people do."

For more on this story, visit the official Twitter page of the British Championship Wrestling promotion @BCWOfficial.

Despite the competition between UK companies, apparently the promoters are pretty close and so this bad story could easily stop him being booked in the future by any of the big companies we have over here.

He needs to pay the money, stop being a thief and release a statement saying sorry, as his silence so far speaks volumes.

Can't blame the company not wanting to use him again. Being on time for a plane is a pretty basic requirement and he's shown how unreliable he is.

Hes not even a good wrestler so im not sure why hes acting as if he is the reason they have sold so many tickets

At the end of the day he has been paid for a service he didn't provide so should pay the money back
