The real question I have is what do the Hardyz do next? New Day? Sanity? Authors of Pain? You gotta suspect they won't be doing much until after Mania, though even so that might not hold to be true either.

I like this idea. At first I was like Wyatt as a American Bad Ass character makes no sense at all but I think a mash up of Wyatt’s bizarre and spooky current gimmick with something more tuned into reality could work really well.

I like Wyatt but he does need to turn the weirdness down a notch, I tend to completely zone out when he’s speaking because his promos are senseless ramblings, complete gibberish, which is a shame because his promo delivery is excellent.

A reboot of his character has been more or less forced as Wyatt has lost every top feud he’s been involved in and now is regularly losing to mid-card guys too. It’s reached the point where fan interest in him is at a low as he’s lost so many matches he cannot back up what he says in his promos in the ring.

I knew i had heard it somewhere.

The Ultimate deletion match was fun and quite entertaining - it was certainly by far the best stuff these 2 have done during their whole feud, however Bray really needs something fresh to rebuild his character because it has been destroyed throughout this storyline.

Quote Bray Wyatt made his first public comments since being deleted by Matt Hardy in their Ultimate Deletion match last Monday on Raw:

Everything is gray

I feel you fading

I failed you

You failed me

Don't leave me

Not in this place

— Bray Wyatt (@WWEBrayWyatt) March 24, 2018

Chatting his usual shit in a tweet. I hope that doesn't mean he's going to return exactly the same as before.

Ultimate Deletion trended for around half a day after the match, so even a doubter like Vince knows it was a success.

1-2 of these matches a year would keep it special. Just hope they aren't done too often.

It means he's going to be abandoned by Sister Abigail. This has me very excited as a Wyatt without his figurehead, without his spiritual leader, should be an absolute destructive force of anarchy.

Give me that and you will have my money.

Quote Michael Cole's comments before the "Ultimate Deletion" match, specifically apologizing for what the audience was about to see, was a directive straight from Vince McMahon. When we asked about it, a source in WWE said that not only does Vince remain "lukewarm" on any and all ideas that don't originate in WWE, but he likely didn't have high expectations going in that WWE fans would like the segment.

-- One of the reasons Vince ended up on board with evolving to the "Broken Universe" characters is merchandise sales as it is a foregone conclusion that the Hardys will sell a ton with the character refresh.

I didn't mind what Cole said. If a corporate nerd who's going to be fifty years old this year is slagging something off, me as a lad from a different generation is actually going to be more likely to stay tuned in.

Now if the younger and more hip Corey Graves had said what Cole said pre match, then I would have been more worried that management were trying to make the whole thing flop.

Merchandise through big interest in the characters is going to make everyone involved richer.

Michael Cole essentially said "this is for a certain type of fan but don't worry other type of fans, we're still catering for you too."

I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. If anything he greatly assisted exposure. As I've said before in here, WWE are the heels. If they say they don't like something it means that we, as fans, as supposed to like it.

Quote  Last week, fans recorded videos of Hardy coming face to face with Wyatt and emphasise that he needs to change. This time, though, Matt referred to him as Woken Wyatt, which suggests that this is the new name he will adopt.

What makes this interesting is that before Jeff Hardy suffered a similar fate during their time in Impact Wrestling, Matt continually referred to him as Brother Nero before he eventually embraced the change. So, it could be quite a slow process, similar to Jeff transitioning to Brother Nero.

An alliance had also been teased. As you’ll be able to see in the tweets above, Wyatt choked Matt before being told to do what he must. Wyatt then let go and hugged Matt instead for a few seconds.

Thats not exactly what i had in mind when Matt said that Wyatt would change

For me, Wyatt needs a total repackage - he doesnt need to be what he is now but tagging with Matt as opposed to feuding with him.

Again, this was at a live show and they may have been trying a few things out and it might not be the final plan for Wyatt

Fans have been flooding Twitter with the concept of these two as a tag team for months now. It wouldn't surprise me if WWE believed that's what the fans want given that the majority of their more vocal fans seem to want it.

I don't but I'm hardly their majority audience.

Quote  Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler and Byron Saxton are on commentary for this one. We see the Andre statue at ringside as Greg Hamilton goes over the rules. The opening bell sounds and English starts beating on Ryder, while Corbin drops Sin Cara then turns his attention to the other combatants. English gets eliminated first, then Hawkins and Konnor get eliminated. Goldust and R-Truth come face to face, and Goldust drops his old partner. Truth is eliminated, and Primo is sent out over the top rope next. Matt and Ryder start fighting while Slater works over Viktor. Hardy starts firing up, but Axel and Dallas double team him. Shelton eliminates Breeze, then Viktor eliminates Rhyno. Ryder eliminates Ziggler next, as Matt and Goldust brawl in the opposite corner.

Mojo eliminates Ryder next, then Gable eliminates Anderson. Titus eliminates Gallows, then The Revival eliminates Apollo and Shelton. Axel and Dallas team up to eliminate both Revival members, then Kane eliminates both Axel and Dallas. John Cena is shown sitting in the crowd with fans again. Kane eliminates Fandango, and Corbin eliminates Slater and Sin Cara. Ziggler fires up and eliminates Titus and Goldust next. Matt and Tye come face to face and duel “Delete” with “Ten” chants, then Matt eliminates Tye. Kane drops Matt, then Ziggler superkicks Kane. Kane gets up and eliminates Ziggler, then Corbin comes from behind and eliminates Kane.

It’s down to Corbin, Matt, and Mojo, as fans chant “Delete.” Mojo and Corbin double team Matt now, until the lights go out and Bray Wyatt hits the ring. Wyatt helps Matt eliminate Mojo, then Corbin drops Matt and Wyatt. Corbin grabs Matt, but Matt ends up fighting Corbin off and eliminating him. The bell rings and Matt is declared winner, then Matt and Wyatt come face to face.

Winner: Matt Hardy

– After the match, Wyatt and Matt approach each other, then hug. They pose for the crowd as Cena is shown in the crowd looking surprised.

Matt winning makes sense as he likes talking to stuff that aren't human such as George Washington the Girafe.

Bray is back looking exactly the same, with his only change being a switch to babyface.

Raw is going to be fun seeing why Bray is hugging Matt all of a sudden.

I like the alliance of Matt and Bray as this hopefully means a full-time babyface turn for Wyatt who badly needs a change of direction. I'm not sure a complete character change was needed for Bray as his character is decent, he had just become stale and had dropped down the card, he just needed a fresh twist on his gimmick which the turn will provide.

I've always said Wyatt is a merchandise goldmine waiting to happen if they turn him face. This is a smart move and I'm very interested to see where it goes next.
