I couldn't find a thread for MLB so I made this.

This is for people who wanna talk about baseball related issues, trades, teams, and anything else going on in MLB.

who's your favorite team? Who do you expect to win the world series? You shoulda posted answers to these my friend.

My MLB team by default is the Colorado Rockies. A terrible team by any stretch but last year they took the NL Championship, but were totally embarassed by the Red Sox. It was a sad World Series but it proved the Rockies can do at least something if they put their minds to it.

Favorite Team: Detroit Tigers

Favorite Player: Miguel Cabrera

Favorite non-Tiger: Chipper Jones

World Series Prediction: Rays/ Marlins

Although I wouldn't bet against the TigersSmile

But yeah,  not to be a jerk, but I would hate to be a Rockies fan. They kind of came out of nowhere, had a great postseason, and by the time the fans were able to really enjoy it, they were eliminated by the Red Sox, and haven't been good since. I feel for you buddy.

OK. So here is some of the things you should know about me and where I stand on MLB.

-My Team. Arizona Diamondbacks, so it looks like ecmulder is my enemy.... LOL

-I hate the Yankz, Dodgers, and Rockies.

-Randy Johnson is the greatest pitcher to ever take a mound.

-Jeff Weaver is the biggest bust I have ever seen!

-Barry Bonds is the home run king. Leave him alone!

-A-Rod might be the one to pass Bonds record, but Albert Pujols will go down as the greatest hitter of all time.

-King Felix Hernandez will be a CY Young award winner sooner than later.

-Manny Ramirez is by far the biggest bum I have ever seen. He is a quitter and a fake ass person. He's a bigger bum than Pete Rose.

OK. I know it's a few weeks into the season but this is the predictions I made before the season began. I stand by them and I don't do flip flop. If I am wrong on some so be it but I won't say I predicted something I didn't.

NL WEST
1.Dodgers
2.Giants
3.Diamondbacks
4.Padres
5.Rockies

NL CENTRAL
1.Cubs
2.Astros
3.Brewers
4.Cardinals
5.Reds
6.Pirates

NL EAST
1.Mets
2.Braves-wildcard
3.Phillies
4.Marlins
5.Nationals

AL WEST
1.Angels
2.Rangers
3.Mariners
4.Athletics

AL CENTRAL
1.WhiteSox
2.Indians
3.Twins
4.Tigers
5.Royals

AL EAST
1.RedSox
2.BlueJays-wild card
3.Yankees
4.Rays
5.Orioles

1-RedSox vs 3-Angels
                                            2-White Sox vs 1-RedSox
2-WhiteSox vs 4-BlueJays

                                                                    1-RedSox vs 1-Cubs       !RedSox!

1-Cubs vs 4-Braves
                                             1-Cubs vs 3-Dodgers
2-Mets vs 3-Dodgers

OK. I did the seeding based on how it works. Pairings for the Division Series round are 1 v 4 and 2 v 3, with one exception. If the wildcard is from the same division as the #1 seed, the pairings are 1 v 3 and 2 v 4. The Division Series is played in 2-2-1 format, with Game 1 homefield going to the higher ranked seed.

So there it is. My predictions!

If you are basing your statement on 20games, then I would say you need to look at the MLB schedule... 162 games buddy. Alotta time left for my predictions to fall in place.... Sure Indians aren't looking good now. But before the season started 1-9 in that lineup was beast. Ryan Garko won't even play every day and he batted in 100rbi... Thats a pretty good lineup. Shin-Soo Choo is a hitting machine! Pavano just needs time. He hasn't been a full time starter in 3years! Believe me. I have reason after reason for why I pick what I pick.
