He'll debut, go on a decent run, drop the "Sullivan" from his name, eventually lose to a top babyface and then fade to the midcard before being big showed.

Quote It was recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Lars Sullivan suffered some type of "anxiety attack", causing him to miss Raw and Smackdown events last week. According to a rajah.com source, this is indeed true as is the report that WWE made contact with him to help him through the issues. Sullivan though missed more events this weekend and has not been in any sort of contact with WWE since, as per our source.

The plan is for Lars to make his WWE main roster television debut next week at the 1/21 Raw in some sort of pre-taped, non-wrestling segment where the storyline with John Cena would begin. However, with his continued absence and lack of communication with WWE, that segment is now in serious jeopardy and the scheduled match with Cena at WrestleMania is also clearly up in the air. Vince McMahon - according to our source - is extremely unhappy at this turn of events and the heat is falling on Triple H, who reportedly pushed for Sullivan's promotion to the main roster and advocated for his impending mega push.

The mental health of Lars is more important than his debut on the main roster happening.

He should however have been in contact with the company about it instead of seemingly going AWOL.

I can see why going from the small pond of NXT to fueding with one of the best ever in your first main roster fueding, heading in to the biggest show of the year, might be stressful for someone to think about.

Anxiety... lol

Fucking hell.

Let's just call him Ryback #2, fire him and move on, shall we?

Seems to be a logical opponent for Super Cena given that he's a monster heel type character but does seem very soon to put him in such a high spot at such a big event, that's a lot of pressure and Triple H must have had a lot of faith in Sullivan to pitch for this.

However it does seem that it has completely backfired and that this has put serious jeopardy on if the Cena programme will even happen as well as doubts as to if Sullivan can cut it at all on the main roster.

I personally would have held off on Sullivan's debut until post Wrestlemania to ease him in a bit more gently but perhaps it was a scheduling issue and Cena was only available for Mania. I would rather see someone like Drew McIntyre get the rub of a Cena Mania match this year or perhaps if they do want someone brand new how about ECIII, does seem a bit rushed for Sullivan.

Quote After coming under fire for not addressing Lars Sullivan's past racist/homophobic remarks (made during the 2008-2013 timeframe), WWE issued the following statement to Forbes, revealing that Sullivan has been fined:

WWE supports a culture of inclusion regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation, and we are committed to embracing all individuals as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.

Dylan Miley (aka Lars Sullivan) will be fined $100,000 and required to complete sensitivity training for offensive commentary uncovered from his past. WWE will also facilitate meetings for Dylan with community organizations to foster further discussion around the power of social media and the impact of your words.

For those that missd it, you can read the entire list of racist, sexist, homophobic and anti-religious remarks that Lars Sullivan made on the Bodybuilding.com message board from 2008-2013 by clicking here.

He should have been fired. They got rid of a star like Hogan for racism, but are keeping Lars who's a history of being racist, sexist AND homophobic.

They should just get rid. He's not a star and I don't see him being a star, so it's not worth the bother to keep him around.

I don't think he should have been fined for comments made before he was even signed though.

Why should he have been fired for something he did long before he was employed? I don't buy that. I think it's ridiculous when people are punished for things they said over a decade ago. Time's change and people need to move on.

If he's a different person today, then judge him by who he is today. Since hiring him he's not been the kind of person they don't want employed by the company.

That'd be like firing Booker T and/or R-Truth because they've served jail time for violent crimes. I mean honestly, that far out-ranks some mean words someone said while trolling the forums. But we have no problem with giving these people jobs?

Booker T and R-Truth both became model citizens and great role models after putting their pasts behind them and gaining employment in the wrestling world, and I think Lars certainly deserves the same opportunities Booker T and R-Truth got.

Agreed. If he said it last week he would have to be fired, but a decade ago, everyone is entitled to a past and we've all said and done things we regret.

WWE fined him and are making him attend sensitivity training so they are seen to have taken some form of action, to me that's more than fair and this shouldn't effect Lars Sullivan's position on screen, I hope to see his push continue as planned, I just hope he doesn't get a vicious backlash from fans.
