This is one big ugly mother fucker. I'm not especially impressed with his performances as of yet, but he's got the look you know Vince gets wet for.

He's now in the Fatal Fourway for the #1 contendership against Killiam Dane, Johnny Gargano, Alistair Black.

You kinda gotta think either Alistair Black or Johnny Gargano are the favorites... gonna be really annoyed at seeing Sullivan win this because him losing to Almas, though tbh it'd be a pretty cool win for Almas and if Sullivan put on a good show, people would warm to him quite a bit going forward.

He is absolutely amazing. Creative messed up a little bit when they had him featured as a Q&A guest on a Facebook live stream. When I mean messed up, I meant for his character image. The guy is such a sweetheart and very intellectual. Then when he was asked a question pertaining to an upcoming match, it is like he had to force himself to get into character. His ugly face is only shown when he wrestles, because during the interview, he didn't look off-putting at all, because maybe he was relaxed. He has a lot of upside, but I worry about his knee. He retired from  football due to tearing his ACL twice. But he has great grappling technique.

Well that's actually fairly good to know, maybe he'll end up being another Braun Strowman? They need to get guys that are average to above average intelligence willing to play dumb... A new Big Poppa Pump character would be huge in todays fandom.

I remember suggesting that Ryback, when he was still with the WWE, should start adopting a promo style similar to his in-ring style. In the ring Ryback relaxed, had fun, and would do silly things like openly play to the audience, and he'd slap the side of his head like he was trying to get water out of his ears. People had fun watching him wrestle. Had his promos matched that the guy would be one of the biggest names in wrestling now. Instead he wanted to play it off like he was an intellectual, and he simply isn't. But if he'd adopted the old school style of whispering, then yelling, and laughing like a kook, and then when he inevitably botched his lines, laughed, and slapped the side of his head and said the lines correctly, only with even more intensity than before he'd be untouchable. Every fan that's ever watched wrestling would be tuning in just to watch Ryback go off the rails. Botchamania would likely be duped into running his segments thinking he actually botched on purpose but few would actually realize it was all manufactured and controlled chaos, and that he was coached to react to his flubbed lines in a certain way so that they fit his character.

Lars Sullivan has the look to fill that role well, and if he's as nice and intelligent as you say, then I'm sure he could see the green behind playing a big dumb lovable ogre.

Very good match at Takeover, I enjoyed the style contrast of Blacks striking and Sullivan’s raw power.

It was the longest match I think Sullivan has had to date and he went down looking like a beast as he took Black to the limit and often dominated him with his power moves, plus it took several fade to blacks to put him down.

His only downside is his promos, he can talk but has a very noticeable lisp which will be a source of ridicule no doubt and makes it harder to take him seriously when he’s talking, might be smart to give him a manager and for Lars to keep his verbals to a minimum.

People seem to be writing Sullivan off as another Snitsky, I think that’s unfair as he has more ring skill than Snitsky ever had and he still has plenty of time to improve.

I was one of the people who wrote him off as a Snitsky, however it was based purely on seeing him in very short matches - his look and his style.

I still think he is similar but i agree he has far more in ring skill.

His match with Black was his best to date and he looked dominant in defeat (much like strowman has done in the past)
