So after Final Battle 2010 where does this leave Mr Wrestling Kevin Steen, his contract was up and he wasnt being retained for budget reasons, what do you think will be the best route for him, Indy Tours? TNA? Try to lean up and see about getting into WWE the guy can go in the ring, and with a little polish can be good on the mic. What do you think?

Hopefully he goes to PWG, as its the only promotion outside WWE I make an effort to watch. I am a big fan of his though, hes one of the best brawlers in wrestling, period.

Not sure if he'd make the grade at either TNA or WWE, despite his talent. Japan & Mexico could prove lucrative for him, as he works a pretty stiff style suited to those countries.

I was actually leaning toward PWG when I mentioned the Indys, he's known there and liked there since hes been performing there on and off since 2005. I do hope to see him back in ROH again as I enjoy him on TV he's def one of my favorites as well.

Kevin Steen won't go to either TNA or WWE. He said in an interview a few months ago that it was always very difficult to leave his wife and son behind to wrestle during the weekends. Whenever he can bring his son with him on the road, he does. Matter of fact, last show I attended with Steen on the card, his son Owen was with him. Besides, I think his son suffers from autism so I don't think he'd be willing on a grueling schedule in that situation.

In the meantime, Steen will probably work local indys in Quebec and he's starting to teach wrestling seminars in the area next weekend. I'm pretty sure he's gonna go back to PWG eventually though.

This is a suprise to me, as I assumed that the whole quitting thing as a result of the final battle loss, was just to take him off tv and repackenge him, maybe to bring him back say summer time.

Steen is one of ROH's hottest talents, and to let him go having recently lost Austin Aries is nuts! Okay Benjamin and Haas are now on board, and Christopher Daniels return is certainly a boast, but they have taken quite a hit to their talent pool in recent years, and really having come up from the tag ranks, KS has only hit the tip of the ice burg in singles.

If he is defantly gone through, I think PWG would be a good fit, but also it would be good to see him, work for other indie promotions and maybe tour Japan also.  Maybe Dragon Gate would be a good fit too.
Lifes what you make it.

I choose to out think people, who are too dumb and pick on the rich.

His first tour with Dragon Gate was a success and he did fairly well with ZERO-ONE when he went over there a few years ago. I think that a short stint over there would do wonders for him.

It all went down at a ROH IPPV that occured tonight which Im sure no one knew about

ROH World Heavyweight Champion Kevin Steen attacked two men at ringside at the conclusion of the ROH Boiling Point iPPV. The incident, which was caught on camera, showed Steen hitting a fan who spit on him after Steen kissed another fan, who Steen also hit. Security was shown jumping the barricade after the men before cameras were switched away to Steen leaving the ring side area

According to Dot Net reader Zack Zimmerman, who was sitting two rows behind the men hit, sent this note: "Kevin Steen assaulted two fans who mixed words with him post match. Steen grabbed one and made out with him. The man shoved Steen and Steen swung and hit the man in the face and then hit the fan next to him who spat. If these men were plants, they were interacting with us all night and were very convincing as fans. One man bled from the lip. The men were two rows in front of me and Steen POTATOED both."

Shore's Slant: The moment stood out to me as well when the show closed, and I wondered if maybe it looked worse than it actually was. It sounds like it was worse than it looked. This is not good for Kevin Steen and ROH if the brass decides they have seen enough.

And thats your ROH champion folks, here is hoping they really were plants or ROH is in deep doo-doo

If they were plants, thats some outstanding booking and acting by everyone involved. If it was a shoot, Steen is a hero and should be given a raise for being a wrestlers wrestler. Enjoy the show, don't go their to be a cunt and pick fights. You spit in my direction, let alone on me and we a fighting. That is just me. That is the most vile thing you can do to a person to show utter disrespect. Not just that but the STD factor. Good for Steen. If they take the title off him for that (if it was a shoot) fuck ROH.

It had to be plants.  I refuse to believe that ROH drew that many people. I'm serious. You expect me to believe that crap. 2 guys to fight with Steen and a 3rd to blab to the dirtsheets? Remember the old saying: three's a crowd. That's way too big a crowd for ROH.

Steen is a fat tub of shit and not the killer ROH makes him out to be.

This is all fake btw, as much as ROH love to pretend wrestling is real, this is the same company that paid plants to incite fake crowd riots.

Lame bush leaguers. Shame there isn't footage of this because nobody bothered to order it, they ordered UFC instead.
