I am hoping and think it will happen that they will hold off Shane back in the ring until Survivor Series.

No he's suspended he can have some time at home with the family and get in shape in the gym for when Kevin Owens calls him out for a match in November.

Got to say I popped for Shane O flipping. Surprised at how deep Owens was allowed to go such as mentioning Shane should have died in the plane crash.

Great angle this week on Smackdown, having Owens do like a hostile takeover of the show then Vince coming out and was on form as ever announcing the match with Shane and then the shocker of the beating Owens gave Vince, credit to the 72 year old Vince for taking and selling the beating like he did.

This is a great feud for KO and should firmly cement him as a top heel as only a few get to share a ring with Shane'O, especially in a hell in a cell match.

Amazing Smackdown performance. The 72 year old boss once again doing what it takes to further a storyline, leading by example as a true pro.

Might have to change the thread eventually to Owens vs Mcmahons as it could lead to KO vs Hs at Mania to keep it going long term.

Stephanie coming out was a great touch and Vince saying he suspended Shane for not finishing the job LOL

That is actually a great idea having Owens face Triple H at Wrestlemania and what a rub it would be for KO if he could defeat The Game coming off a win over Shane McMahon.

I have a feeling though that Shane may win this one as he taken nothing but losses since he's returned and I think WWE may want a solid win for him to keep his big match status alive.

Nah they'll have KO go over and then he'll slot in to the main event picture for the title whilst Shane recovers.

As for Vince he put a lot of guys to shame in that segment, but then again he's above his rules so he's allowed to take it to the level some want to go to to make it more believable.

Read a report today that once Owens is done with the McMahon's his next feud will be Bobby Roode, that will be excellent so surely KO has to go over strong against Shane.

Brutal brilliant match and far from PG rated.

You know what you're going to get when Shane has a rare match and both guys delivered.

Lovely touch having Marrisa and the kids at ringside. That helped the storyline.

I'm really not sure where Owens goes from this now - hopefully onwards and upwards (would have made sense if Nakamura won the title but with Jinder as champ it may not make that much sense at the min)

Obviously Shane is now going to be involved in a feud with the least relevant bloke in WWE history

Two years ago their short fued was good. Now it's just a copy of Austin/Mcmahon that isn't needed.

KO doesn't need to steal the Stunner. He should be using his own moves.

I hate these boss vs employer storylines with the shit security. The worse part is last week Shane kept having Owens mic cut and yet on the few broadcasts since we've seen recaps!!! Total sense when the boss wants something censored that on the next few shows on the show the boss runs, it airs what he didn't want airing.

Its a obvious rehash of the Stone Cold/Vince feud but then why not try and recreate that magic? It was two decades ago and still ranks as one of the best feuds in wrestling history, there is a whole new audience who weren't fans at the time of it happening. A good percentage of the talent roster would only have been kids when it was happening as crazy as that sounds.

The best thing about this is how its breathed new life into Kevin Owens' character. Owens is a great talent but as a heel he'd suffered too much damage from nearly always losing the big matches to the top faces, his alliance with Sami Zayn hadn't helped as Zayn has done nothing but jobs ever since he went heel.

The only answer really was to flip the script with Owens and apparently this is the kind of character he played successfully on the indies, a anti-hero type.

Shane is a excellent heel and I look forward to the match these two are surely set to have at Summerslam.
