So Kenny Omega is probably, currently the biggest name on the All Elite roster.

I like the fact that although he is the biggest name, hes not immediately thrown into the match to determine the inaugural AEW champion.

Instead, Omegas first match is a continuation of his feud with Chris Jericho which from what ive seen so far, has been fantastic.

He brings with him a huge fan base and surely the fact AEW signed him, must have caused envy in the wrestling world given how many companies tried to sign him.

Perhaps their plan is to have Kenny win after Tuesday Night Dynamite debuts?

That could mean PAC wins the title first?

Getting Kenny Omega is great for AEW, hes basically their version of WCW's Sting, a top talent who has never worked for WWE which gives him that little extra bit of value.

I expect him to be challenging for the AEW title once hes done with Chris Jericho.

I've never actually seen Kenny wrestle as yet so I'm pretty excited about his Double or Nothing match with Jericho.

For those, like me, who have seen very little, or maybe nothing at all of Kenny Omega - the below link is for a documentary called Omega Man: A Wrestling Love Story and it basically takes you through Kennys backstory, how he was signed with WWE, why he didnt want to stay and also how his career really kicked off in Japan - where he initially believed he was going as a farewell tour on his wrestling career.

Its really really interesting - if that link doesnt work then try some others at: http://www.allwrestling.org/watch-omega-man-a-wrestling-love-story-3-27-2019-full-documentary-online-free/

The one thing with the first link is that youll have to cope with the guy who recorded it, skipping through the adverts and struggling at times to find the start of the next part after the commercial break - however it really isnt a big deal

You get to see some great wrestling action as well as a really interesting story about Kennys relationship with fellow wrestler Kota Ibushi

Great piece and something else to get you all in the mood for Double or Nothing

First time I've seen this guy at Double or Nothing and he didn't disappoint, great talent in the ring and it was the best match I've seen Jericho have in years, maybe even the best since his Wrestlemania match with Shawn Michaels although I'm sure I'm forgetting some great matches Jericho has had.

Anyway Kenny Omega is definitely one to watch, it's great he doesn't have any affiliation with WWE and that AEW can build around him and push him as a top home grown star, basically their AJ Styles or Sting.

Hopefully we see Omega vs Moxley at the next PPV.

I'm not sure it'll be at the NEXT PPV, but I'm certain it's going to be a big deal in the future. I could easily see it being the main event of the first PPV following the debut of Tuesday Night Delight/Dynamite or whatever they're going to call it.

I think its something theyll keep until the TV Tapings.

From what ive seen there were already matches rumoured and some announced for the next few events and Kenny already had an opponent lined up.

They need to have some stuff to go at when the TV shows start so there isnt just a whole host of random matches without any meaning.

I absolutely love what they are doing with Omega in AEW, or what i think they are doing anyway.

It would be very easy for AEW to book Omega strongly and have him win every match, being part of The Elite and one of the huge stars in the promotion, you can easily see why that would appeal.

However, what they seem to be doing is highlighting his hesitations and mishaps during matches and really selling the fact that hes having trouble putting people away. This is reflected in his W/L record where, although early days, hes currently 2-2, so far only managing to beat CIMA in singles competition.

Omegas match quality and wrestling ability has been absolutely fantastic in AEW and again this is something that has been mentioned by the commentary teasm whilst reiterating that things arent going so well for him.

So what i think and hope they are doing is putting him on a bad run, I expect him to lose to Moxley too, so that he can go through like a rebuild push before eventually becoming champion and top AEW babyface.

Everything about his matches are fantastic and the effort last night with PAC, given that it was a throw together match due to the Mox injury, was absolutely tremendous.

I like how he's booked too, top talents don't need to win every match I like that Omega has suffered a couple of clean losses and has a 50/50 record, this makes wrestling seem more legit, it's a rub for the talents who beat him and helps establish them as top stars and the important thing is he's having consistent quality matches.

Omega is great in the ring but I'm still not sold on his personality not sure he comes across all that likeable, maybe he'd be better as a heel.

Judging by his recent promo where he is accusing Moxley of letting everyone down by going to wrestle in Japan for 24 days instead of preparing for him, not taking All Out seriously and saying if the fans cheer for him after that then they are as bad as him - it looks as though Omega will at least be heel for this feud. Its a great move because we have seen it time and time again, where there are 2 super over guys, the fans sometimes dont know who to cheer and who to boo.
