Shamrock is one of those guys who I find very interesting in the wrestling world. I enjoied watching some of Shamrock's matches on youtube and I feel that he had bigger influence on MMA then in the WWE, but he certainly had a style that other wrestlers found interesting (for example, Kurt Angle and Undertaker both have recently used an MMA sort of style in their matches). As far as submission wrestlers Shamrock is one of my favorites and I feel that he got a very decent career in WWE, and while he maybe a little old for wrestling (even though he continues to do UFC fights to this day, except for his 1 year ban for steroids), I feel that maybe newer wrestlers can learn something from watching his old matches.

I actually enjoyed Ken Shamrock back in the Attitude Era and was shocked when he quit WWE in 2000 after a good 1998 & 1999, his feuds with The Rock, Steve Blackman and a couple others were standout rivalrys.

Shame he got busted for using 'roids and got a year ban from UFC but I also believe Ken should call it quits from MMA and just become a trainer.

Wasnt their talk recently of Ken going to TNA?
I would like to see that because at his age the schedule will be ideal and I would love to see him have matches with Joe and Lashley as well as a potential dream match with Kurt Angle.

Ken's been in TNA twice already - he won the NWA World Heavyweight Title at their first PPV and then turned up briefly in 2004.

The lighter schedule certainly would be an advantage but I havn't seen enough of him to really know who'd be good opponents for him.

Yeah I know he was around in the early days but TNA was such a small promotion back then and everyone was pretty much working on a week to week basis. Hes never been a part of TNA since they got a tv deal and expanded the roster.

Shamrock works a similar suplex/submission based style to Joe and Angle which is why I think the matches would be so good, Ken actually said once in a shoot-interview that his dream opponent would be Kurt Angle.

Yeah there was talk off him going to TNA but after he failed that steroid test all talk of him going there all off a sudden died down, which is understandable because you wouldnt want to hire a wrestler who just failed a drug test and got banned from another sport for a year, it put a negative light on your own promotion.

Well it certainly hasn't stopped Scott Steiner Wink

As far as dream matches, I would love to see Shamrock vs. Angle in a classic Lions Den style match. That would be main event material. But the steroid thing is a problem, and until we see how Shamrock does without them I think that it will not happen.

Shamrock vs Angle in a Lion's Den match would be a awesome type of deal to happen mainly because it would test Angle out in MMA competition, and then it might actually shut the bald headed fuck wit up about wanting to get into the MMA biz after Shamrock kicks his ass.

But yeah Shamrock vs Angle feud in TNA, if it was based around MMA vs Wrestling I think it could work.

apt place to put this as any:

now, that title makes it sound bad, really bad. but the whole story is both bizarre and funny.

basically, there was a fight in a mall that Shamrock was visiting, and he tried to interject and break up the scruffle. as he was doing this, a heavyset person jumped on his back and tried to basicall rip Shamrock to shreds from behind. the report from TMZ.com states:

Originally posted by TMZ TMZ wrote:

... Shamrock dove into the scrap and tried to pry the women apart ... when one of the bystanders, a HEAVYSET bystander, jumped on his back and tried to rip Ken out of the pile.

... [Shamrock] threw the person off of his back and followed up with a move that knocked the attacker to the ground

it was only after this that someone in the crowd informed Ken that he had hit a woman, at which point Shamrock backed off.

of course, she made a complaint of battery to the police when they showed:

Originally posted by TMZ TMZ wrote:

An officer arrived to the scene and took a battery report against Shamrock, noting the only injury was a slight abrasion to the woman's knee. The report was sent to the District Attorney's Office.

But law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Shamrock probably won't be prosecuted because officials don't feel the woman he knocked to the ground is a "victim." In fact, they believe Ken was acting in self-defense.

and fair play to him. some heffer jumps on your back, you don't wait to find out if it's a fat fucker or a fat bitch, you just get them off.

this week just seems to be full of lolz with UFC talent.
