He has the most star potential out of anyone, IMO.

If he puts on a bit of size (which I think they'll 'suggest' to him, he'll be on the main roster before long. His match a couple of weeks back, while only against some bum jobber, was a great showcase for what the guy can do.

He's got a load of weird moves that I like, but he's very very smooth in the ring unlike his Jannetty tag team parter Castagnoli & Seth Rollins who they havent washed the indy out of yet. If he gets rid of that dumb "OH NO its OHNO" shit he does he can go far.

I had said for a long time, Hero was the most talented person not signed to a big promotion. So glad he is getting his shoot and is seemingly being taken seriously. All about being the Knockout Kid baby!

I remember you singing his praises, I was a non-believer though and didn't think his indy style would transfer kindly. Turns out he's been easily adaptable while Rollins (and even Punk & Danielson) still have that terrible indy/puro style in them.

I never was a fan of Chris Hero's working style in the indies but I always thought that he had the charisma and the mic skills to succeed. I don't know if WWE plans to reunite him with Claudio Castagnoli/Antonio Cesaro down the line but I'd be curious to see what they could do against the Primetime Playaz. Sure would be entertaining on the mic!

As nice as that sounds, I want the Knockout Kid in the WWE title picture in 2 years time. It would be amazing to see him knock Cena the fuck out with a Rolling Elbow, but that will never happen. LoL.

Really good promo that reminded me very much of Randy Orton with manerisms such as leaning towards the interviewer.

He's still got some way to go before he beats the beard of Felix from Hardcore Pawn though for best beard on a young white guy.

Like JTB said he needs to bulk up a bit as he currently looks too lanky.

right, so normally, i'd put a couple of choice cuts from such an interview on here in quotes, but it's an interesting read, so please, open the link and read all about Hero's insights from 2003:

this is the first of 2 parts of an EIGHT hour interview, so there will be another part next weekend, but it's certainly a good read.

Quote From Jim Ross Website

Kassius Ohno has started an issue with Richie Steamboat and both worthy of keeping an eye on. I'd like to think that both Ohno and Steamboat can be very valuable in time for WWE.

It's a good way for both me to get over having a serious heel fued with your stereotypical smiley babyface.

Richie can get over with the sympathy of beatdowns and getting revenge, and Kassius will hopefully get some good heel heat.

I'm looking forward to seeing how he evolves.

Quote UPDATE x 3: Earlier today it was reported that Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) has been removed from the opening video for the NXT show. Ohno was not used at the latest TV tapings, and word is that officials are keeping him off TV until he focuses on getting his body into better shape.

It had been previously reported that officials have been upset with Ohno's lack of focus conditioning and training.

The moral of the story is that WWE management isn't happy with him at the current time. If things don't change ASAP, he'll more than likely be fired.

UPDATE x 2: It has been noted that Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) has been removed from the opening video for the NXT show. There have been rumors regarding his WWE status, but as of this writing, he is still with the company.

UPDATE: It had been previously reported that Kassius Ohno (formerly Chris Hero) has heat with WWE management due to the fact that he hasn't taken WWE's instructions seriously in regards to his physique.

Ohno was pulled from the recent NXT TV tapings and some live events and was instructed that he needs to concentrate his efforts on his physique and his strength/conditioning training. As far as his in ring work, mic work and attitude goes, he has been receiving very good reviews. With that being said, WWE officials have stated that he will not be brought up to the main roster until he gets in better physical shape.

Ohno is back on WWE NXT live events, including tonight's show in Tampa, Florida.

ORIGINAL: Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) has been removed from the last two NXT tapings and his current push was stopped by WWE executive Triple H.

The rumored reason is that he has been hesitant during weight training sessions while WWE management has asked him several times to work on his physique while they prepare a story for his main roster debut. When Triple H found out about his “lack of dedication” to cutting weight, he was removed from TV and plans to bring him to the main roster were put on hold.

People will slate WWE for having this attitude but I can see where they're coming from, it's not like they are asking him to shed a load of weight they just want to tighten up his physique so he doesn't look like some bum you'd expect to find sitting on a bar-stool.

If he continues to have a lazy attitude towards his conditioning despite warnings he will only have himself to blame if he gets released which is looking a strong possibility at the moment.

And I seriously doubt that it is just his physique that they are asking him to improve. Improvement in general means improvement in all areas. If you were truly dedicated, then this would just be one of many things that he would be improving. But if you are not improving, then you are getting worse.
