This thread needs to be renamed to Asuka.

Anyways. This is why I'm in love.

So, I think it is time to point out that Asuka has flown under the radar and become the new Goldberg, only she's hot!

Asuka has been wrestling in NXT for 9 months now. She has been wrestling on tour, house shows, tv, Takeover events and she has never lost. She could very well be approaching 100+ wins (36 weeks X 3 wins per week give or take a couple dozen wins) and is currently the reigning defending NXT women's champion.

At this point, SHE is the WWE employee that holds "THE streak".

Here is the difference. She is legit. Not that I necessarily care. She looks like a badass and in wwe that is all that matters. However, it sure doesn't hurt one little bit that she is likely the most skilled wrestler in the women's division on any roster in the world.

The question going forward is, who is going to break the streak? Is there anyone worthy of it if not Bayley in a rematch?

PS . Finn Balor is not the only one who can bring out the demon.

This match gets REALLY uncomfortable to watch at the end in much the same way that The Rock vs Mankind got uncomfortable when Rocky started beating Mankind to death with the steel chair.

Minoru Suzuki just manhandles Kana in this mixed tag. He sandbags her, she hits him with a low blow, delivers shoot kicks to the head and spits on him, and then head butts him, at which point he gets up, head butts her, and then beats the dogshit out of her.

This is the kind of thing that separates Asuka for Kairi Sane. Asuka should not lose the NXT Women's championship, she should vacate when she is ready to move to the main roster.

Smart move, she's done her time there and wrestled everyone worth facing on the ladies roster there several times over.

Having her depart as champion and vacate the title is also a good move as she retains her undefeated streak heading to the main roster which will mean there will be even more buzz about her when she debuts.

I hope she heads to Raw as the Smackdown women's division is weak and I wish they would just scrap it and merge it with the Raw division.

I hope they hold off on airing this segment on NXT for a while yet, because IMO she still needs to be paired with Paul Heyman for maximum impact, and then Paul needs to cut a promo along the lines of:

"Ladies and Gentlemen my name is Paul Heyman, and I am here to announce that I have acquired a new client. She, yes SHE, is the only wrestler in all of the WWE who can claim to have any streak worth mentioning today that is unconquered. She is the reigning, defending, undefeated NXT women's champion, The Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka! Now, not only am I here to announce my acquisition of the greatest women's wrestler of all time, but she has tasked me with delivering this simple message to the WWE Universe: "No one is ready for Asuka." But ladies and gentlemen, ready or not, here she comes."

Then they can dub over the filming of Asuka relinquishing the title with an explanation of it being because she's moving to the main roster. That's what they did with Paige and it worked for her, and it'll work even better with Asuka if she's only the second ever Paul Heyman girl to hype her up and make sure the casual fans know she's essentially the only woman in the last 20 years within her division to be at the same level as CM Punk and Brock Lesnar in their division.

Having him hype the fact that her streak is unconquered evokes imagery of Undertaker's streak and Goldberg's streak and both of them losing high profile matches in recent history to Brock Lesnar and yet here's Heyman saying her streak is as significant as theirs.

Even better still is that Asuka can attempt to go to the ring and have a match well before she's fully healed and Heyman convinces her not to enter the ring until later (IE the first PPV event she's medically cleared to perform at). And of course at least her first match needs to be a roundhouse kick KO in just a couple of seconds, maybe followed by her locking the KO'd woman into her submission until the ref ends the match.

They should also air the footage of Bayley talking about Asuka while they were feuding in NXT where Bayley says she's fought and overcome the odds, but that Asuka is at a whole other level than anyone she's ever faced before.

That would get the casual fans interested in Asuka.

As for the title, I hope it's the new prize at the end of the road for the Mae Young Classic. It'd be quite interesting to see Asuka relinquish the title only to see it get picked up by Kairi Sane, and go on yet another year+ long title reign.

Bayley is currently on a slippery slope, her smiley hugger character has not been well received on the main roster and she's getting more and more boos.

Anyway point is they could have Bayley come out and cut a typically annoying promo as a heat seeker then have her start to get rattled by the fans reaction before finally stating she'll issue a open challenge to prove herself, then have Asuka come out and defeat her in dominant fashion to a huge reaction, debut complete.

They shouldn't give up on Bayley though. Bayley can and should be a lot better booked. The fans that turned on her are total douches, and I think it's time WWE fans get called out for booing a babyface. Bayley is infinitely more talented in the ring than either Cena or Reigns were when they started getting boos. Bayley lives her gimmick, it's an extension of who she is and she was loved for it, then the casual WWE fan mindlessly comes in and craps on her because who she is is so similar to who they want Cena and Reigns to be. They're fucking retards the fans that boo her. That's like booing Natty because she's booked to fart.
