Commentators spoilt that the title change was happening by mentioning it would have been the 50th birthday of Eddie Guererro so much.

I hate when a guy jobbing for a few years can just win a title out of nowhere.

The crowd was dead and I suspect it's a short term thing.

I'm not sure why they picked him to win the title but hes honestly terrible

I'm with you adders in the fact that hes jobbed out for years and then suddenly wins the title = 0 sense

I'm not a huge Enzo fan neither and the 205 division looks weak as piss - im not sure how much longer theyll keep it separate

It'll be a transitional reign before Enzo regains I think, maybe as soon as next week or TLC at the latest.

I've never liked Kalisto, he's always come across as Rey Mysterio-lite which is why he's failed to get over. They should have kept the Lucha Dragons together as at least it added a half decent team to the card.

I agree that enzo will probably take the strap but with Neville going walkies - im not really sure theyve built anyone up enough to be considered a credible challenger to Enzo so there is some work to do with the rest of the division

Kalisto has been jobbing for years? Really? Wasn't he US champion? Wasn't he a tag champion?

K.A.L.I.S.T.O. ... Not Sin Cara! Kalisto.

Aside from a few flubs on the mic (EDIT: and yet another ridiculous botch on the mic again last night /sigh) has been quite the midcarder in the heavyweight division much like Kofi Kingston. He should have been the face of the cruiserweight division before either Enzo OR Neville.

I've been bored of Lucha Libre style wrestling for years now. I used to love it 20 years ago when it was the new cool thing in wrestling, but once WCWs cruiserweight division died, so it my love for that style, and now every single match on Raw looks like a carbon copy of Mysterio vs Juventud Guerrera. Despite that Kalisto immediately reminded me exactly why I used to love it in the first place. He is easily the best lucha style wrestler I've seen in that 205 or under classification since Rey Mysterio was in WCW wrestling Dean Malenko.

I mean, I get that not everyone is going to like the guy, but seriously? He fucking awesome in the ring, and he symbolizes to me everything I want and expect out of that division and from 205 live.

Enzo needs to wash out of wrestling and become a manager at this point. I love the guy, and I would have liked to have seen his career go a different direction, but he could be as big a name in wrestling as Bobby Heenan or Paul Heyman or if not them then at least as big as Jimmy Hart or Mr. Fuji if he started a career as a manager this young.

EDIT: After last night, I'm convinced the reason those two were put together is to help each other strengthen their weaknesses. That was similar to why Team Hell No was put together. Daniel Bryan needed help strengthening his mic skills and Kane was the guy to do it. After that team up Bryan skyrocketed into stardom as a result of being more comfortable cutting promos. Kalisto needs that same help, but Enzo could really use the help working an entertaining and varied match. If their teamwork behind the scenes is strong they could both come out of this feud better off.
