The match is happening no question, Cena wouldn't have even mentioned it if it wasn't going to happen. You cant have a tease like that then not deliver.

Apparently the plan is to have Cena challenge Nakamura on Smackdown for his title shot at AJ which will lead to a match at Fastlane which I'm guessing Cena will lose, he will then go back to his idea of a match with The Undertaker as he will be running out of time and options.

Well if nothing else this is a very different, out of the box, and interesting way of going about building a to a match at wrestlemania for two of the biggest names in the company's history.

It's actuslly quite funny seeing how desperate and paranoid that Cena is becoming in this. I dont really care much about Cena anymore, so I'll be taking NY kayfabe hat off this one and just watch Cena's descent into madness.

What he said was true, he should have challenged The Undertaker years ago and that match ensures him top billing at the big show.

Exactly, a wrestler the caliber of Cena as high on the pecking order as he is is a safe bet to land a WrestleMania match, but a competitor with the work ethic he has wants to have a high match on the card, as he has been in so many World Title matches at WrestleMania or WrestleMania main events. He does not want just any match for the show.

In my estimation he was content with the mixed tag last year as it was a chance to propose to Nikki afterwards, plus it was a way for Nikki to come back for her "WrestleMania moment" after her surgery, which Cena as a supportive lover also wanted. And that explanation works both within and outside of kayfabe.

But anyway this is why it makes perfect sense for him to go after The Undertaker.

I'm buying into the storyline. I'm going to be disappointed if/when Undertaker does have yet another match, and quite honestly I'd rather see this as Cena just airing his grievances with the WWE that he is bitter he never got a match at mania against Taker. I hope Cena does something else... problem is other than a match with the Undertaker, I just don't know what he might do. I suppose that's why I'm interested, because I really just can't see Undertaker going back AGAIN. At this point that would be worse than a world title singles match between Lesnar & Reigns.

This is one of many many differences between you and me when it comes to our view of professional wrestling. To me The Undertaker is they guy whose matches I look forward to the most out of anyone on the entire roster. He has the ability to use psychology both in the ring and with his character like no one maybe ever, and to me he continually puts on the best matches of the year for the better part of the past 10 years because of these skills. So I'll take anything I can get with him.

The career ending stipulation is what I fear, for the same reasons you mention. It guarantees a Cena win and a true end for the career of the Undertaker. Cry

I think we all agree, official turn or not, Cena will be booed in the match. It will be like Rock vs Hogan in Toronto in 2002.

John Cena has singlehandedly bought everyone into this feud I myself was not looking forward to this until Cena started going on and really it did bring in one question, is the Undertaker retired or has he got just enough left in the tank for one last match.

This match I reckon should actually go last because it will be the most emotionally invested in for both these men considering Taker is literally on his last legs and Cena is winding down his career.

Wonder if theyll actually do it - would be a brilliant feud from start to finish and im sure the match between them would be suitable enough for a big event like Wrestlemania

Quote John Cena's music hits and Cena comes out to the ring. As Cena steps in the ring, we a see a graphic promoting Hulk Hogan's return to RAW tonight. Cena gets on the mic and welcomes us to RAW in Orlando, Florida, and he welcomes us to the road to WrestleMania. Cena talks about how at WrestleMania you need to step up or get left out. Cena says he's going to step up, and he's going to do it right now. Cena announces he will be entering the Royal Rumble, and then Drew McIntyre comes out to interrupt. Drew talks to Cena and admits that he thinks Cena is the greatest ever -- but Drew is here running through all of WWE's greatest talents. Drew talks about destroying The Shield and Dolph Ziggler. Drew says Cena can pass the torch, or Drew can take it. Drew takes off his vest and heads towards the ring, then Cena rips his shirt off. Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley come out to the stage to interrupt, and Lio complains about how WWE is treating Lashley, and he threatens to get a lawyer if nothing gets done about Seth Rollins. Lio says this show is cancelled unless something is done about Rollins -- and then on queue, Seth Rollins runs out from the back and pounces on Lashley from behind. Dean Ambrose comes out and gets involved, as do Cena and McIntyre. Ringside breaks out into an all-out brawl, and then Finn Balor comes out for the save as we go to commercial.

- John Cena, Finn Balor & Seth Rollins vs. Bobby Lashley, Dean Ambrose & Drew McIntyre: Back from the break, Drew and Dean take turns beating on Balor. Lashley tags in for the double team, then he works on keeping Balor grounded so he can't tag out. Lashley misses a shot in the corner, and Balor starts firing up. Balor looks for a tag, but Lashley grabs him and works him over in the corner. Balor fights away and Cena gets the hot tag. Ambrose comes in and Cena hits the AA on him, then Cena goes at it with Lashley. Drew tags in and works over Cena now, then Lashley tags in and knocks Rollins off of Cena's corner. Cena comes back with a slam on Lashley, and both men are down. Ambrose gets the tag and he puts Cena in a sleeper. Cena finally tags in Finn Balor, and Balor cleans house. Balor drops Ambrose, then Lashley runs in and Balor hits the Sling Blade on him. Balor continues the offense on Ambrose, then dropkicks him into the corner. Balor hits the Coup De Grace off the top, but then before he can pin, Drew runs in and boots Balor in the face. Rollins and Drew get the tags, and Rollins comes in hot with a series of kicks. Drew tries to dump Rollins outside, but Rollins turns into into a dive on Lashley. Back in the ring, Rollins ducks a shot and hits the Falcon Arrow on Drew for a two count. Cena and Lashley run in and start fighting, and Rollins keeps his sights on the legal man Drew. Rollins superkicks Drew, then he goes up top. Rollins goes for the frog splash, but Drew rolls out of the way and tags in Dean. Dean comes in and goes for the Dirty Deeds, but Rollins escapes and drops Ambrose. Rollins follows up with the curb stomp on Ambrose for the 3 count.

Winners: John Cena, Finn Balor & Seth Rollins

Big pop for Cena, one of the biggest of the night. Fans have clearly missed him being around and are happy to see him.

They will realise seeing Cena in person is a precious moment that's becoming much rarer.

I did like the sign someone held up telling him to have a haircut LOL
