The best thing Cena has ever done in his life is keep hold of Nikki when she wants kids and marriage and he doesn't LOL

Can't be a family illness or he'd be having time off straight away.

Another injury maybe? Disapointed I won't see him next month now.

Maybe he's got a scheduled surgery for something that's been nagging him but has been non-critical? This is a good time to take off as nobody really give a shit about wrestling from now until the Royal Rumble comes around.

No idea. Surely if it was for surgery or something like that they'd say about it and not just put personal reasons? Sure it'll all come out soon enough though.

John Cena is now being advertised for the Christmas Day edition of WWE Monday Night Raw in Chicago, Illinois.

Cena is scheduled for a few Raw live events after Christmas as well as a SmackDown live event. Here is his updated schedule:

— Tue. Dec 26: Madison Square Garden, New York, NY (Raw)

— Wed. Dec 27: Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Uniondale, NY (Raw)

— Thu. Dec 28: Hartford, CT (Raw)

— Fri. Dec 29: Times Union Center, Albany, NY (Raw)

— Sat. Dec 30: Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL (SmackDown)

With him possibly only around for that one TV night they should make a storyline out of him being part of team Smackdown at Survivor Series so it's more meaningful than just a random spare time appearance.

Get Steph to come out and berate him asking how he dares show his face on HER show that he tried to defeat by taking sides with her brother Shane.

Then he can be put in a match with a big heel such as Kane.

From the rumble till now he's acted quote heelish however that is probably because they were in Philly and they're known for their smarkish behavior.
It might be a bit more clear cut once a couple of weeks have passed and we get a clear idea of the direction he's going in.

Quote Michael Cole says last night wasn't a good night for John Cena after losing the Chamber match. We see footage of Cena looking sad on RAW Talk last night after the pay-per-view. Cena is getting ready to come out next.

- John Cena makes his way down to the ring to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Cena gets on the mic and says last night he failed, and stares at the WrestleMania sign in the arena. Cena talks about failure and gives some motivational quotes. Cena says he has to prove himself, so he's putting out a WrestleMania challenge to The Undertaker. The crowd reacts in approval, and Cena says it's time for them to face off at WrestleMania. Cena says "and that match is not happening." He says he doesn't make the matches, and he's been told "that match is impossible." Cena says now everyone understands how disappointed he is. Cena says his road to WrestleMania is through SmackDown, so he's going to SmackDown Live tomorrow night to try to earn a spot at WrestleMania. Cena says he'll see us tomorrow night, then leaves.

Probably the dumbest storyline in the company right now, is John Cena worrying that he might not get on the Wrestlemania card.

The guy with rumours of a match against Undertaker, who does movies, who's a top tier HOF guy one day, who's a multi time champion of different titles, that works for a company that every year tries to get every member of the roster as part of the show.

Yes John you keep worrying because at this rate you might not make the six hour broadcast Confused

I think its a good angle - ok yeah fair point WWE are not going to leave Cena off the Wrestlemania card but John could be making a argument for how he isn't guaranteed a key spot at the event, I mean last year he worked a mid-card mixed tag at the show and he hasn't wrestled for the title there in several years.

What he said was true, he should have challenged The Undertaker years ago and that match ensures him top billing at the big show.

Cena can also say how he feels left behind what with his part-time status, advancing age etc, its true he is behind the current crop of top stars and more often than not recently he has lost all his major matches.

Using the whole he doesn't book the matches and saying it wont happen is just a way to drag this out though, we all know as soon as he mentioned the name The Undertaker the match is on.

I'm buying into the storyline. I'm going to be disappointed if/when Undertaker does have yet another match, and quite honestly I'd rather see this as Cena just airing his grievances with the WWE that he is bitter he never got a match at mania against Taker. I hope Cena does something else... problem is other than a match with the Undertaker, I just don't know what he might do. I suppose that's why I'm interested, because I really just can't see Undertaker going back AGAIN. At this point that would be worse than a world title singles match between Lesnar & Reigns.

When this one goes down, I wonder if they'll add a career ending match stipulation to it....guarantees a Cena win and a heel turn in the process but why not?
