For a predictable squash against a jobber I was impressed with his Smackdown in ring debut.

While it's too early to get carried away he could end up being the breakout star of 2011.

I hope he's built up with some midcard title runs rather than rushed to main event status just to flop at too much too soon like Sheamus, Swagger etc.

He's definitley got the look and feel of a breakout star ....

Hard 2 tell about his work ethic in the ring yet but I do believe we could see some greeat 10+ minute matches out of this guy ...

Can't wait for his actual 1st feud 2 start. Bringing Khali new life is great. It would have been weird 2 debut him any other way but I hope he moves away from that whole group quickly ...

If those loud boos for beating up the nobody Yoshi Tatsu weren't edited in the guy is doing very well.

I enjoyed the promo he cut. He came across really well spoken. Quite the natural on the mic.

Every week he looks more and more ripped with veins showing....He should be careful with his physique.

Quote SmackDown Superstar Jinder Mahal has not impressed some WWE officials at live events with the feeling that going from doing squash matches on TV to longer live event matches shows that he is much greener than they originally thought. Some are saying that Mahal may have been called up too soon. He has been booked with Daniel Bryan on live events a lot because Bryan is seen as a talent who can keep matches together and carry his opponent when necessary.

Hmm, weird. He looks ok on TV, but I guess thats because his matches don't run longer than needed.

I haven't seen him on Smackdown for a while I would hope they bring him back soon just have him work tag matches for a bit all he needs is someone else who can actually wrestle like Cody Rhodes or even Ted Dibiase to make a faction and cover him until he's got more expierience.

I thought he might have slipped off TV when I heard that Khali's knees were giving him trouble.  And let's face it... Khali isn't going to be the guy to help him improve.  So, I'm glad to hear he's getting to work with Daniel Bryan at house shows.

This sounds like another example of the failure of the current FCW-only developmental approach.  I think that NXT has shown that something isn't right with the developmental program.  Now they take a guy that's been in FCW for over a year and still can't tell if he's ready for the main roster until he gets there?  Are they really that clueless?

Maybe WWE can book him a place on NXT7, Thundaar Thumbs Up
From what I've seen of Mahal, O'Neil from NXT5 could do a better job - at least O'Neil can work 10 minute matches well. O'Brian from NXT4 and 5 could run rings around both of them, he's a great technician like Shaemus.
But yeah, kind of dumb to rush Mahal if he's not ready. But...its kind of hard to understand Mahal's 'green-ness' given his wrestling experience listed on wiki, but then again he only joined FCW last year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jinder_Mahal
So far on SmackDown!, the only matches he's had are squash matches with midgets like Tatsu which never last more than 2-3 minutes - which did seem suspect to me in the past.

Still the guy doesn't wrestle on Smackdown. Instead he's booked for just talking for someone else.

When will management get high on him again? I dunno why they went off him in the first place because he didn't look green to me in his few Smackdown matches.

Management call him up, give him 3 minute squash matches and then it's Jinder who suffers when creative fuck up.

Well look who is the next #1 Contender after Bray Wyatt wins the title and takes it to Raw? Haha Seriously though, I'm pretty surprised to see Jinder get a push like this so soon after returning to the wwe. I guess he has seriously reformed his attitude issues?

Oh, also it appears Vince has decided Rusev is now the OLD Russian/Iraqi/mid-Eastern stereotype (which I guess now includes Indians too) and Jinder is the new toy to feed to the babyface champion.

I kinda feel bad for him because he seems like he could be pretty good on his own without having to be a token stereotype.

I heard that Vince had heat with him for the forearm which almost knocked Finn Balor out a few weeks ago and was gonna be Jobbed out hard but it seems that Vince has either had a U-Turn or the Dirtsheets were talking shit.

If Mahal can go (He's been jobbing that long i can't remember if he can or not) then let's see how he does with the push. I hope he can handle it and who knows if he get's over it will open the floodgates for other nations talent to get over and into the ME scene.
