Looks to me as a belt trade more than anything. US title now on RAW, along with Roode and Corbin, so some of the old storyline comes with it. We know Miz is going to SD without Dallas and Axel so how do they deliver Rollins there?

Quote WWE RAW GM Kurt Angle comes down to the ring and gets on the mic to kick off the show. He's quickly interrupted by Sunil Singh, who interrupts and introduces Jinder Mahal. Jinder steps in the ring and says that RAW is now the A-show now that hes here. Jinder is happy to be here, but he does complain to Kurt about being driven to the arena in an SUV instead of a limo with a motorcade. Jinder starts trashing the RAW roster until the fans boo him and drown him out. Kurt asks them to email him his list of demands, but declines to give them his real email address. Kurt tells Jinder if he thinks he's better than everyone on RAW, then he has to prove it. Kurt asks the fans if they want Jinder to prove it, and the crowd cheers, so Kurt introduces Jinder's first opponent on RAW: Jeff Hardy.

- Jeff Hardy vs. Jinder Mahal (C): Jinder's U.S. Title is on the line in this one. Hardy comes out and gets a big ovation from the crow. Jinder starts off strong in this one, but Hardy comes back with a dropkick and sends Jinder rolling outside. Jeff follows up with a big suicide dive on Jinder and both men crash down to the ringside floor. Jeff starts firing up and coming back but Jinder drops him over the top rope. Jinder looks for a back superplex, but Jeff fights him off and hits the Whisper In The Wind on Jinder. Sunil Singh distracts Jeff from the apron and Jeff kicks him down. Jeff goes back to work on Jinder and hits an inverted atomic drop, then a leg drop. Jeff looks for the Twist of Fate, but Jinder fights out and hits a knee to the face. Jinder pins but Jeff reaches the rope to break the hold. Jinder looks for the Khallas, but Jeff escapes and rolls up Jinder for a two count. Jinder comes back with a boot to the face for another near-fall. Jeff comes back with a kick and a Twist of Fate, then Jeff goes up top. Jeff connects with a Swanton bomb for the three count, and Jeff is the new U.S. Champion.

Winner & new U.S. champion: Jeff Hardy

- Jeff celebrates with the U.S. Title after the match.

- The Miz will be hosting Miz TV later with a mystery guest. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley is up next.

- Jinder Mahal is backstage with Sunil Singh, and Jinder is not happy. Jinder says this was a conspiracy by Kurt Angle, and he was brought to RAW to be embarrassed. Jinder says he's going to get his U.S. Title back and bring back glory to the USA. As Jinder starts vowing revenge against Kurt Angle, No Way Jose's music hits and he dances through with a conga line and briefly confronts Jinder.

Switching brands to drop the title isn't a good start to his time on Raw.

I think he will struggle to stay relevant on the flagship, as he often did on Smackdown.

Give it a few months and we probably won't see him on a weekly basis anymore.

His line about Chad Gable being Nicholas from Mania is without a doubt the funniest and most interesting thing he has said or done since he came back to WWE

They need to encourage more of this instead of the bland monotone promos he normally gives.

I cant take any of his promos seriously since all of that shit with Nakamuras facial expression 5 weeks in a row

ha! yeah I can't argue there. I had forgotten about that, but I did pop for that comment, and I'm not a fan of his at all. It gives me hope that maybe he'll be more interesting on Raw this time around, but I'm not holding my breath either.

In addition to his new found humour, Jinder has now decided to cost Reigns a chance at qualifying for MITB

If he keeps on like this, he'll get over and become a fan favourite instantly

If ever WWE wanted a way to get Jinder over - this is the way to do it.

I think maybe WWE believe that this will help Roman get over as a face but its clear the fans hate Roman more than they hate Jinder and therefore that automatically makes Jinder the face for this feud

What a time to be alive

That would take some doing LOL

Quote Jinder Mahal vs. Chad Gable: The opening bell sounds and they go at it right away. Jinder dumps Gable out to ringside early on. Jinder follows him outside and slams Chad's head onto the ring apron repeatedly. Back in the ring, Jinder locks in a bear hug, but Gable fights out. Gabel starts throwing punches, but Jinder tackles him down and then applies an abdominal stretch. Gable fights out and drops Jinder, then hits a moonsault off the top for a two count. Gable misses a shot and Jinder capitlizes with a knee to the face. Jinder picks up Gable, but Gable escapes and rolls up Jinder for a two count. Jinder chokes Gable over the top rope, then boots him in the face. Jinder hits the Khallas for the three count.

Winner: Jinder Mahal

- Sunil Singh gets in the ring and celebrates the win with Jinder. Sunil gets in Gable's face, and Gable shoves him down. Jinder comes over and puts the boots to Gable, then slams him upside down in the corner. Jinder grabs Gable and hits repeated knee strikes to the body, then Jinder suplexes Gable over the top rope. Jinder kicks Gable out of the ring and yells at the crowd.

I liked this. Kurt told him to prove himself and he went out and won a very quick match.

He showed great intensity in the post match beatdown and got a fair few boos to say he was beating up a nobody.

Quote Seth Rollins (c) vs. Jinder Mahal: Rollins' Intercontinental Title is on the line in this one. The opening bell sounds and Rollins immediately takes the fight to Jinder. Rollins beats on Jinder in the corner, then they run the ropes and Rollins hits a cross body. Jinder rolls outside for a breather, and Seth follows up with a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Jinder hits a shot on the apron and then drops Rollins on the mat. Seth looks for a suplex, but Jinder fights out and hits a back suplex for a two count. Jinder applies an abdominal stretch and throws elbow strikes to Rollins' ribs. Rollins escapes, but Jinder drops him with some knee strikes. Rollins fires up and clotheslines Jinder out to ringside. Rollins follows up with a suicide dive, then he takes a breather while Jinder is down. Back in the ring, Rollins hits a boot to the face and then the Blockbuster off the middle rope for a two count. Rollins looks for a shot in the corner, but Jinder dodges and comes back with a big gutbuster for a two count. Rollins escapes from Jinder's grasp and hits a kick, then rolls up Jinder for a two count. Rollins hits a kick to the face and then a Falcon Arrow for another two count. Sunil Singh tries to get involved and the ref ejects him from ringside. While the ref is distracted, Jinder hit a chairshot to the midsection, then pins but only gets a two count. Rollins comes back with a boot to the head, but Sunil comes right back out to ringside. Sunil gets on the apron, but Rollins drags him in and drops him. Rollins whips Jinder into the corner, and then he picks up Sunil. Rollins buckle-bombs Sunil into Jinder in the corner, and both men are down. They go back and forth until Rollins grabs the steel chair and hits a shot on Jinder, and the ref calls for the DQ.

Winner via DQ: Jinder Mahal

- Rollins retains the IC Title due to the DQ. Rollins uses the steel chair to beat Jinder and Sunil up the ramp.

Top match and Jinder played his part as much as Seth did in an entertaining contest.

He looked quite strong not for his victory but because he got in the head of the babyface enough that Seth would lose his rag.

I wouldn't be against the Singh brothers being taken away from him so he can stand alone as a main event heel, taken more seriously due to not needing lackeys.

Wow, they had an intercontinental championship match scrubbed from hulu? That's seems pretty insane.

Quote Jinder Mahal comes out next with Sunil Singh, who is wearing a neck brace. Chad Gable is already in the ring awaiting him. Jinder cuts a promo on the way to the ring trashing Roman Reigns and the fans. Jinder says he has found true peace and tranquillity, and he is a spiritual being committed to change, unlike Chad Gable. Jinder trashes Gable and his amateur wrestling background.

- Jinder Mahal vs. Chad Gable: The opening bell sounds and Jinder goes right after Gable, beating him into the corner. Chad fights out and suplexes Jinder down a couple times. Jinder fights back with a swinging neckbreaker, then he beats on Gable while he's down. Gable locks Jinder in an arm bar hanging over the ring ropes until the ref breaks it up. Gable dropkicks Jinder out to the floor, then takes him back in the ring for more punishment. Gable goes up top and hits a moonsault for a two count. Jinder comes back and hits a boot to the face of Gable. Jinder follows up with the Khallas for the three count after a short but competitive match.

Winner: Jinder Mahal

From facing the favourite guy of management, to some low card tag team jobber in just 24 hours.

He needs to win a fued, but I don't know if their is anyone management would want to put him over against.

I think we will see for the next month at least him doing very little apart from these pointless random matches.
