Quote Stefan Gorges, who keeps an annual list of WWE Superstar win-loss records, noted that Jinder Mahal lost his first TV match on this past Monday's RAW when he teamed with The Great Khali to face Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston. Before that and with the exception of a SmackDown battle royal, Mahal had won his first 26 matches.

See as bad as he's been booked lately it's taken this long for him to actually lose a televised match.

Also he can get around it saying it wasn't a one on one contest to keep the unbeaten thing going.

A 26 match unbeaten streak is decent, yet the commentary teams never made any mention of it.

I am assuming that, that 26 match win streak is including house shows as he has had like 5 matches on TV. Pretty impressive win streak considering that he is made to look like shit.

Because I don't think anybody really cares.
The guy is boring and (from what it looks like) has only 1 facial expression.

My question is, is what about the Battle Royale for the #1 Contender spot on Smackdown? Do they not count those or is it just a one on one or tag team match records this person keeps track of?

They only count pinfalls or submissions as defeats DemonDuck. I mean RVD beat Lesnar by DQ I believe at Veangence 2002 but still was considered to be undefeated until Show pinned him 1-2-3 at Survivor Series 2002

I really dont know why this guy is even on raw did he get traded or something? shouldn't the strong midcarders on smackdown go to raw instead of having lower midcarders who could get easily  buried? Jinder Mahal is going to be the next person to be gone by this or next year.

I dont think this guy will go far at all.

I expect him to be gone before the year is over & I've always said this guy isn't gonna go far. He doesn't have anything to bring to WWE. Even with the stereotype heel gimmick fans still don't even care which is terrible.

It really sucks that wwe usually call up the wrestlers from FCW who need more time to develop or just simply suck to the main roster. Jinder is like michael tarver, like lucky cannon, like the soon to be gone heath slater you can tell that they wont last

FCW clearly isn't working the way WWE intended for it.  The program there isn't getting guys ready for the WWE.  Guys used to spend 3 years working their way up from OVW, into Deep South, and then finally up to the main roster.  Now, guys in FCW start to complain after 6 months.   And WWE rewards that whining by moving guys up the roster.  Even though it's crystal clear that too many of these guys simply aren't developed enough.

Jinder was brought up to team up with Khali.  But what happened to that team?  Nothing.  They jumped the shark and went right to the break up.  WWE didn't follow thru with their plan.  So Jinder has absolutely nothing to do now.  He's creatively adrift which doesn't sound good for his future in the WWE.

The dude has been given ZERO chance to succeed in wwe. He debuts in squash matches and then has something hanging over The Great Khalit to get him in his corner. Then he stops wrestling for like 4 months before the duo gets broken up.

I mean Mahal isnt to great to begin with but wwe did nothing to even give him a chance to get over and now he is a jobber and he will be one for a very long time

Jinder basically got buried before he even had the chance! The Great Khail isn't someone i would try to pair up with someone just to start a feud with later down the road its just going to end by having khail destroy jinder and that would make the storyline worthless. (Which it was)

Jindar needs to be brought back in FCW and stay there untill people forget about everything that he did. Then when officals feel he's worthy to come back to the main roster they give him a new gimmick, a new name, and basically say he's never been in a wwe ring.

They have done that to nicky from the spirit squad and it worked out perfectly! Its either that way or like everyone have stated before he'll be gone within the next 2 to 4 months.
YES! YES! YES!
