I watched his debut match against Matt Morgan, and while the type of outcome was obvious...the match was actually good to watch. The crowd was behind him from start to finish and every time he connected with a shot, the crowd cheered for him.

I honestly think they need to go down the Colin Delaney kind of route with him...having him whooped in matches with higher tier talent until he finally defeats someone to earn his spot (hell, it could be Rhino himself if necessary).
Oddly enough I don't think he needs wrestling gear either at the moment, because his look fits the "newbie" gimmick he's portraying at the moment.

Why not put him up against Big Rocco, and have it be a very close match before Sal helps Rocco to score a cheap win? Maybe against Doug Williams or Brutus Magnus? Hell put him against Kevin Nash in a quick two minute squash if it benefits the under-dog story.

Thoughts on Jesse Neal and how they should build him up?

I have no comment on his future at the moment as i don't really know anything about his background, the match with Morgan was fine for what it was(not least because Morgan was in itSmile) however it seems quite obvouis to me than the story's heading for a Rhino heel turn, the fact they've flagged that up this early is a joke!

* I think it's sick that TNA are milking a really sad real life situation for storyline purposes.

* Watching wrestling is suppose to make you feel good. Where's the entertainment in such a morbid story being used?

* He doesn't belong in the ring while proper wrestlers cannot get airtime.

I think he'll last for awhile, but as nothing more than a jobber. No offense to him, but he shouldn't be given airtime when there's other, more deserving guys backstage.

It seems that his storyline is no worse than many used in morden day Pro Wrestling, your always tredning a fine line, but i don't really see they've gone over it.  So are you saying he's had no Wrestling experince, or training, that part of it does suck.

Yeah its well known that wrestling will use any true life situations in storylines if they think it will mean ratings, and this is not the worst case by a long way.

Having him jobbed out is good as having him beat established names is not believable, they could do a storyline like they did with Maven and Tazz in WWE, have Rhino turn on him and then beat him in consecutive matches before Neal scores a upset win eventually.

* Taz gets all excited at what Jesse is going to do and all he did in the end was a shoulder breaker lol.

* A week after returning and he's already jobbing. He's never going to be more than an enhancement talent.

* He doesn't look to have learned anything worthwhile since he's been away from TNA. His moveset is very basic.

Admin.... He is still very green!!! Do you realize he has not been wrestling for a year! Look at Matt Morgan, hes been wrestling for 10yrs I think it is and he is just now getting a push and becoming the wrestler people expected.

Ask me 1 month ago what I thought of Neal. I would have said nothing special. Hes green and has nothing to offer, doesnt need to be in TNA.

Ask me now.... I say Neal has an awesome gimmick and look ( I didnt even recognize him when I first saw him!) He looks like he could be a great superstar. Now as of right now he is very new, so he wont be getting any big push, any time soon. But that doesnt mean he cant be impressive. Which I think he has been. Sure, Neal took the loss last week, but he dominated that match and got over IMO.

Too bad he is playing heel for now. I wanted to see him vs Rhino real bad. It would be Spear VS Gore.(I think his finisher is spear).

I support this guy alot. On youtube people started calling him dead weight for TNA and stuff and I know TNA just not bring somebody in like that without a reason. So I checked him out on youtube for his matches and man he was good. He has not shown anything special yet which he does on indy feds.

In the future there will be "No Mercy" in TNA to the maximum.
Guys can you help me out

He's already lasted longer than people thought as you can see from when this thread was made.

He was never going to win the match, but he looked much stronger in defeat than I thought he would have been booked.

Management must like him because they keep finding ways to use him on a regular basis.
