So Jeff Hardy returns with another new entrance music and another new haircut. I'm glad he acknowledged why he was off screen for so long and they didn't come out with some stupid storyline reason for his absence. I am surprised Jeff was allowed to get the victory upon his return. You would think he would be made to job for at least a couple of weeks. His fan support hasn't changed one bit, so we should just hope he won't mess up his last chance.

He should have jobbed to Umaga it was wrong that they made him look good after the punishment. Where's the learning curve

Only person is suffered out of this was Umaga. WWE have forgotten that this guy is supposed to be powerful, yet now never gets big wins.

Isn't it the same music as he was using before he left (the EndEverAfter track)?? And what's the big deal about "another new haircut".

Although i'm a huge Hardy fan, I'll admit it probably wouldn't have harmed for him to lose a couple matches first, but I guess the fan support is still there and WWE want to capitalize on his popularity. Sure is great to see him back though!!!!

Yeah, the EndEverAfter song is the one he was using before he got suspended, so it's not exactly 'new' for his return. As for the haircut... he kinda needed it anyway, he's constantly changing his hair so, not a big deal I'd say.

As for whether he should've won or lost... I'd say it wouldn't have hurt to have him lose against Umaga. One or two losses on his return wouldn't kill the momentum he had when he was suspended. It would show he was getting back into the swing of things.

Having him beat Umaga seems pointless - what has he got to build up to? Obviously he's going to be going for the IC title again, but him beating the 'unstopable' Umaga kind of makes me think he'd be able to beat Jericho without trying since Jericho isn't exactly the 'monster' type that Umaga is supposed to be.

From Jim Ross Website...........

Quote Great to see Jeff Hardy, or is it Harvey, back on Monday Night Raw. Arguably, Jeff got as loud and as enthusiastic reception from the Raw fans in Detroit as any one who appeared on the broadcast from where I was sitting. Jeff is a major star waiting to happen and let’s hope all the stars are aligned properly to where that story can be told. Many factors go into this evolution to get to the very top of the food chain but none more important than the talent himself. That’s not a Jeff Hardy exclusive, but goes for everyone.

I don't get the joke about "Harvey". Maybe he's seen it spelt wrongly in different places. JR is right about the reaction he got from the fans. There's no way he is going to be punished with a jobbing role, with the crowd still so much behind him. There's not much Jeff hasn't been through since being in the business and so you would think that when he says he won't make the same mistakes again, that he means it. I wonder how long before he's signed again if he fails the Wellness a third time.

Source: prowrestling.net

Following his Wellness policy violation, 60 day suspension and his North Carolina home burning down, Jeff Hardy is said to be in better spirits, motivated, and in good physical shape.

Jeff is now back with WWE full time and will be traveling with the company effective immediately.

Sources close to Hardy say the fire served as a wake up call and made him realise what he has with World Wrestling Entertainment and ultimately has made him more appreciative of his career. A friend close to Hardy also suggested he realized his recent mistakes were of his own doing and that he has shown maturity in realizing that.

Friends of Jeff confirm that he is planning to build a new house on the same property and has been looking at blue prints.

It's interesting to note that even though this was the second time Hardy violated WWE's Wellness Policy, he did not spend any time in a rehab facility.

well thats good to hear and hopefully he keeps it up, he has come back to another good push (not as good, but close) but if he slips again he is gone from wwe. as for the rehab comment, the first time was ages ago and his recent one was a mistake and he isnt addicted to anything so rehab would be pointless.

Qouth the draven, nevermore.

Finally he is back,i think it´s good that he won the first matches.I think WWE will say"Hey man you still win matches just like before youre suspension, you know what that means? You are one of the top stars of Raw,so don´t make this shit again or this changes really soon.Maybe he thinks if WWE let him job some matches, that they don´t need him anymore and he do drugs again. But this is just my opinion

The match didn't do anything for me and was a lame attempt I feel at making Umaga stronger than he were last week. The thing is they only attempted to do that so that when they meet for a third time Jeff can win again and therefore stay undefeated since his return. The count out angle was one I thought WWE were trying to avoid these days what with more clean finishes. I can see the final match between them being very violent and very much a train wreck to watch.

So for the first time in years Jeff was in singles action against Cesaro. Could have been a good match, but tbh Jeff looked like shit. He was trying not to sell a shoulder injury during the entrance, he was flat the entire match and he looked like he was the broken hardy boy. Cesaro was clearly frustrated with Hardy sandbagging so much of his offense as well and I don't blame him.

I wonder if Vince considers Jeff a part time contractor like Lesnar as well?
