Quote According to a forum post over on TheHardyShow.com, Jeff Hardy suffered a minor neck injury during the third night of RAW’s tour of Germany. The injury occurred after a botching RKO attempt during the main event against WWE Champion Randy Orton. Hardy was taken for x-rays but all indications are that they were negative.

I would hope then that tonight on Raw they will have him go easy in a tag match at most. He will no doubt be professional and up for whatever he's told to do, but I believe he shouldn't risk it getting worse and especially at a time where he's being made into a superstar. I won't jump to conclusions as to who is to blame for it, as it doesn't say even though it was Randy's finisher. I'm glad X Rays don't show up something much more worse than first feared.

If there is a sidelining injury it couldn't come at a worse time for Jeff. He's being pushed to no end because John Cena is out and now would be a good time to see him start a feud with Orton so the young blood of the WWE can properly take over the main event. If Jeffgoes out  i love my wife, then who will take over the facew position on the roster. All that would be left is HHH and HBK.

Quote Source: PWInsider.com

-- Jeff Hardy was interviewed this week by Charleston's The Post and Carrier newspaper. Hardy revealed that his body is in real bad shape. "My ankles are really weak. A lot of that stems from motocross in the past. I've got a (bone) chip in my right kneecap now, pain in my elbows and two herniated discs in my neck and my back. I'm not feeling great, but I've been extremely lucky that I've gone this far without surgery. So I'll just keep knocking on metal or wood."

He has to be playing up the injuries to be worse than they actually are. If he had all that wrong with him and was in as bad of a condition as he makes out, do you think WWE would have risked their main event at a big four event, by letting Jeff do that Swanton? That's only one example. Is it three herniated discs that end your career? I think Kurt had two fused and they wanted to do more, which would have ended his career. Jeff has to be careful of ending up in a wheelchair.

Was this an interview with Jeff or the character Jeff Hardy??? If its real then there's no chance he'll be given the title while being so beaten up.

I dont think this is real because why would they risk him in an Elimination Chamber match?? That would be suicidal of both Jeff and Vince!

Quote Jeff also gave an update on his shoulder injury.

“So far so good, my physical therapist says it’s moving great,” Jeff said. “It doesn’t feel great, naturally it hurts, I can only do so much. But I’m on the right track, so, hopefully after another month I’ll be able to lift a little weight and start building up my chest and my arms. Hopefully, by April, I’ll be good to go and actually get back in the ring and do what Jeff Hardy loves to do.”

He told fans at a meet and greet he expects to be back for Wrestlemania, which is a positive when he was expected to miss it and not return until May time.

If he's anywhere near fit to go, he will be pressing management to be part of the show.

The sad thing is because he's put his body on the line so much over the years, this probably won't be his last serious injury, especially with the style he wrestles of high flying and high risk.

It makes you understand why veteran talents preferred TNA, all the while in TNA I don’t recall Jeff having one serious injury, he’s back in WWE for less than 6 months and ends up out injured for a long period. The relaxed TNA schedule was far kinder to talent especially the older guys suffering from years of wear and tear. If not for their financial crisis I think a lot of guys would still be working for TNA rather than returning to WWE, guys like Sting, The Hardys, The Dudleys and others certainly only headed to WWE when TNA couldn’t afford them anymore.

I think WWE will have reservations about giving Jeff any real kind of push due to his physical condition.

Quote PWInsider is reporting that former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy was in Birmingham, Alabama on Tuesday for an evaluation of his surgically repaired shoulder after he tore his labrum and his rotator cuff in October.

If you recall, the Raw Superstar suffered the injury during a six-pack match in October 2017.

By doing a quick search, recovery from rotator cuff surgery is typically 4-6 months, although in some cases it can take up to a year. If Hardy is in the 4-6 months category, he is nearing the early range of a possible return.

Even if he's not totally 100% I wouldn't be against him in the ATGMBR where he would be well protected.

Then they could keep him on screen as Brother Nero (as the direction it's rumoured they will be going) without wrestling, until he is fully fit again.

He's the type of talent who can still be an on screen asset even in a non wrestling capacity.

So long as he is not bought back too early he should be fine.

As for coming back as Brother Nero I disagree I think its time to get them separate it was a good nostalgia act for a bit with the Hardy'z back together but they are both singles competitors now let them be as such, I want to see Jeff go over to smackdown and have matches with Nakumara, and Aj Styles and be in that high midcard section and Matt can be on Raw in a higher position perhaps the IC title scens for a bit and maybe the occasional challenger for the Universal title.

It doesnt really matter when they bring him back - his career will be ruined by this broken storyline

I wish they would bring him back as a heel - i always remember his heel run in TNA before things took a turn for the worse and it was really entertaining, from his entrance down to his attitude he was excellent.

Whenever he returns though they need to make sure he is fully recovered or he will just end up injured for longer given his in ring style
