Quote Jeff Hardy has been arrested for possession of anabolic steroids and a number of pills, reports ThePilot.com, a local newspaper from Moore County where Jeff Hardy is located.

The following is from the article:

"Hardy, 32, of 265 Boys Camp Road, Cameron, was arrested after a search of his residence yielded 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine and items of drug paraphernalia..."

He's currently in Moore County jail with bail set at $125,000. Hardy was charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

* WWE management must be breathing a huge sigh of relief this has happened after his contract run out.

* That's a rather large bail amount that's been set. But it should be expected because he's an history of problems with the law.

* That's a huge amount of drugs. Jeff clearly needs help to stop himself from dying young. I hope he gets it.

Vincent Kennedy McMahon, you may now count your lucky stars that you didn't succeed in keeping Jeff Hardy back. Had you done so, this would've been one hell of a negative breaking point in WWE history. Yet the Hardy Party will deny this and practically award him a medal of honor to the very end. How sad for them.

he's gonna do some time for this one...
but pac-man is right.
he'll come out rehabed and refocused, and the sheeple will once again give him a medal of bravery for over coming addiction.
this man deserves no more chances, wether he wants them or not, never again

Serious to say the least here, he could end up doing serious time here if he's convicted, pretty much drug trafficking and dealiing he's being charged with here.

From Kurt Angle to Jeff Hardy, what the hell are some guys in the business thinking?

This comes as quite a surprise, I really thought Jeff had cleaned up his act when in fact it turns out his drug problems run far deeper than any of us knew about.

Makes you wonder if his decision to take a break from WWE was largely because of his substance abuse issues.

Even if he serves time, goes through a rehab programme and is said to be a reformed character you have to wonder if Vince Mcmahon will put a guy in a headlining position who has had these kind of issues, I would say Jeff Hardy's chances of coming back to WWE in the future and returning to the same spot he was in when he left are now zero.

* Why does Jeff feel the need to risk it all by selling on drugs? He doesn't need the money.

* He should definately be locked up for a couple of years. Even then he might not learn his lesson.

this fool is on his way to dying before he's 40 years old.  Hell, he'll be lucky if he makes it to his 35th birthday. I don't feel sorry for him though.  I imagine the WWE did everything they could to get him to straighten up--they offer programs for former talent so you know while he was current talent, it was also offered to him.  I hope all of the parents that gladly let their children cheer for this idiot see this article.

* I can't make my mind up if I can see any remorse or not for his actions in his eyes.

* Parents need to explain to their Jeff Hardy loving children why they shouldn't like him.

* Jeff has a pretty decent life and he was very stupid to risk it all AGAIN.

ATTENTION TUPEEPS! I probably shouldn't suggest this, as it's in bad taste for a mod to do so, but since it's in no way comparable to Jeff Hardy bad at this point… who's up for reintroducing the uWo to the VKM Disney Studio Universe and spreading the clear cut message that CM Punk was right all along?

Quote It's interesting to note that had Jeff Hardy's shocking arrest have happened a few weeks ago, WWE would have been forced to terminate him because it would have been his third Wellness Policy violation.

A joint investigation conducted by officers with the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics and select enforcement units and the Fayetteville Police Department led to the arrest of Hardy. It sounds like this had been an ongoing investigation.

The Moore County Sheriff's Office has posted his mugshot on their website.

* I don't think he will have been released because I believe wellness strikes are wiped clean when talent resign.

* If it's been an ongoing investigation Vince has been lucky that this didn't happen a couple of weeks earlier.

* It would have been even worse had it happened before Jeff dropped the title to Punk.
