Quote RAW GM Kurt Angle comes out to the ring and says he's made a tough decision about Jordan at Survivor Series - he has to replace him due to injury. Jordan comes out and interrupts, begging Angle to keep him in the match so he can fight alongside his father. Angle says he can't, but Jordan insists he'll be fine by Sunday. Jordan says Angle was injured when he won a gold medal, and he wants to be just like Angle. Jordan walks all the way down to the ring, then Stephanie McMahon interrupts. Stephanie says she can't believe Angle is falling or this, and demands Angle to make the announcement now. The music hits and Triple H comes out to make his return, and he comes down to the ring. Triple H gets in Angle's face and says if Angle won't make the announcement, he will. Triple H announces that he's the fifth member of Team RAW on Sunday, not Jordan. Triple H has words with Angle before turning his attention to Jordan and giving Jordan the Pedigree. Triple H heads to the back while Angle looks on in shock.

He sold really well how upset he was. He even produced some on the spot tears.

Got to annoy management that fans were chanting for a Pedigree to a guy they want over as a babyface.

I hope he was told he wouldn't be in the match when he got announced for it, so he knew all along what the plan was for his TV character.

Quote Booker T recently took to his Houston sports radio show, Heated Conversations, to offer his thoughts on Monday Night RAW star Jason Jordan. Here’s what he had to say:

“I’m not a huge fan of Jason Jordan or anything like that. I’m not going to hate on him or anything like that, opportunities in this business are few and far between. I’m not heeling on him, if I like you, I like you, if I don’t like you, I don’t like you. It’s that simple. To me, he has not proved himself to be a top guy on Monday Night RAW. I don’t see one sign in the audience that says Jason Jordan is ‘my guy.’ If you ain’t got no signs out there, it tells me one thing; you ain’t that hot or people just don’t care about you. Right now, Jason Jordan is lukewarm.”

Booker rarely makes sense, but his reasoning for not liking him definitely doesn't.

He doesn't like him because he doesn't have fan signs? He can have a mind of his own unless he's going to start liking him all of a sudden if people turn up with signs for him.

How can he prove himself if he's not put in a position to prove himself? Booker isn't bright here.

I think Booker makes perfect sense here

What i think has happened is that you have misunderstood what he is saying.

Booker is spot on with the fact that Jordan has not shown one sign that he is a top guy

The mention to the signs is clearly booker pointing out an obvious fact that no body cares about Jordan and that he hasnt connected with the audience and top guys get a reaction whether its cheers or heat - Jordan gets tumbleweed

Again he is correct with the lukewarm statement - hes getting results at the right end of the card you would want to if you were an up and coming talent but he has no real following

I think they had hoped the dad angle would have someone got Jordan over by now and i believe the initial plans were to have him in the Survivor Series team but hasnt made the progress everyone expected - Stephanies promo on Raw saif exactly the right things - what has he actually achieved ... nothing

All of the above points towards a heel turn or change up of style/character - i think a heel turn would fit with everything thats been happening lately and they could kick start this at SS.

One way that would be guaranteed to get him the heat he needs is if he costs Raw the match and as a result gets Kurt fired

Quote According to a report from Cageside Seats, Jason Jordan’s push may be coming to an end. The site reports that Jordan’s storyline focus may be curtailed based on the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view main event.

The speculation comes after Jordan was pulled from the WWE Survivor Series main event in favor of Triple H. According to sources, the move was seen at the time as having been done so that the RAW brand would have a last-minute change “on the level” of John Cena being added to Team SmackDown!. Of course, Triple H’s involvement in the match factored into the finish last night. The belief is that Jordan’s removal from one of WWE’s biggest pay-per-view events of the year is a sign that WWE may be holding back on his push.

It should be noted that this news should only be taken as a rumor at this point. There were previous reports that Jordan was going to turn heel and cost Angle the match. They could still do a heel turn angle for Jordan at some point.

It's not his fault that he's been put in such a shit storyline that's ruined his character.

He was over in a tag team and did well in NXT, only for it to be spoilt on the main roster.

They need to stop booking him as a whiny child to his dad because it makes him sound childish.

So you CAN see that a guy who gets over well elsewhere and is then mishandled on the main roster shouldn't necessarily be held responsible for not getting over. Huh... Good to know.

Unlike with Asuka though, I think Jordan has just been exposed. After all he was ONLY over as a part of a tag team, not as a singles competitor.

However, I agree that the whiney baby booking is really shitty, and hopefully results in a heel turn, otherwise WWE has once again shit the bed with their booking of a formerly popular NXT star.

I keep thinking that all of this will lead to a heel turn - be a shame if it’s just the end of his push and he keeps doing what he’s doing but at a lower level because it isn’t working

it's this horrible sort of whiney character, where it's "I only said I was 100% because it was HHH..." "I've got your blood running through me, I can face Braun Strowman!"

it's this polar opposite approach to the cowardly heel, and it sounds weird. it comes across as too try-hard, not for attention necessarily, but approval, both from Angle as a character, and from the crowd as a performer.

it's not going to get the crowd behind him, the problem is it's not going to garner him heat either, because the best they can hope for by continuing this path to his turn or his push as a face is apathy.

It must be heading to a heel turn, surely WWE aren’t dumb enough to think his cringey whiney persona is going to get him over as a face?

Would be a shame for them to just quietly forget the whole son of Kurt thing and let him drift down the card.

I agree, it has to be Heel

I dont think its possible for this gimmick to get over as a face because hes doing everything a chickenshit heel would do but has the extra heat factor of his dad being the GM and showing favour.

I think theyll keep it building like this for a while and it wouldnt surprise me if he interfered in an Angle HHH match and deliberately cost angle the match
