I'm surprised he's currently a babyface because his best solo work tends to be when an heel.

Maybe management feel he's reached the level of respect from the fans from years in the same company, that it's too difficult to get him booed.

Just seems strange to not have him in his much more natural role.

He could've been on WWE's radar, but the guy is going the way of Jake Roberts. You can see it in his body type. Hope he can turn it around. A lot of TNA's current stars have a drinking problem.

I see your point. It would appear with his physique and how old he looks for his age that he probably lives his gimmick more than most.

That back looks horrible. Respect to him willing to have that done to him for the good of the storyline.

It must have been an absolute bitch to try and sleep for days after that until it started to heal back up.

Storm has left Impact again.....a show to be shown in the coming weeks will show his exit.

Question is what will he do now? Will WWE really look at him again given he pretty much said no to WWE to go back to Impact? Will he try his like as an elder statesman for ROH or will he just retire?

i think they will, not least because there's a ready made feud at some point if he makes it to the main roster against Roode, or even better, a reunion of Beer Money (under a new name, obvs) and a new top tag team for the division.

I think they have bigger plans for Roode to be honest, but time will tell. I just think Storm may have missed his opportunity with WWE, especially when they were giving him TV time.

I think WWE knew he was pissed with TNA at the time undervaluing him, and that he was doing a brief stint to boost his negotiating power with them, as he was reported as not being there for long when he signed, and had no issue with it really.

they may have expected him to react like Chris Harris did, so he'd already have impressed. there's also the fact that he not only kept his name, but his entire gimmick. I think he had the music too, since that was recorded for him to use, but not owned by TNA.

i'd hope they reach out to him again when his contract is expiring. hell, the way Impact still handles contracts, they could reach out the day it runs out and Impact still wouldn't have offered him a new one yet.
